Services we don't offer
While we're happy to put you in touch with home builders, architects, etc... House+Earth is a materials showroom that sells and installs finishes. We can oversee customer projects but there comes a time when a homeowner is better suited using a home builder/architect for their project. We'll be happy to help you in anyway we can- even if that means recommending someone else that better fits your requirements.
In addition, House+Earth provides paint but not painting services.
Description of Work: House + Earth remodeled the bathroom. It included three bathroom granite countertops.

House and Earth sell green remodeling materials. We are having our kitchen redone so we got the paint there because it is more green, and we got our cabinets ordered through them for the same reason. Everything that they did was wrong. We looked at the cabinets, we ordered the cabinets, the cabinets came in. They were not right, so we said what can you do to fix this? They said, we can't fix it, we'd have to order it new. They weren't willing to say We messed up so we're going to give you 10% off or something. Then, they sent somebody out to measure for the countertops in the bathroom. The estimate for the piece of quartz is going to be x amount of dollars. When the quartz came in, the price was x plus 40%. How can your measurements be that off? Then they cut the piece of quartz for the sink to fit in, and they cut it wrong - they cut it for an overmount sink instead of an undermount sink, so then they had to get another piece of quartz and do it again. In the kitchen the same thing happened with the quartz. The guy comes out to install it, the opening isn't cut correctly, the sink he puts in crooked. We had to get the owner and the top salesperson there and complain about it. Their first thing was, There's nothing wrong with it, this is how it is supposed to be. The guy who installed it lied: he told us this sink had a particular bevel in it that made it sit below where it is supposed to. We made him remove the countertop, we made him take it off, and sure enough, there was NOT a second bevel there. It was a flat surface and it should have been sitting up under the piece of quartz, but it was installed incorrectly so it wasn't. There was a big gap there. And they guy lied to us about it! And the two owners are standing there saying "This is right, you know, this is what it is supposed to look like," I had the template in my hand and I showed them, look, it is not cut correctly; look, it is not positioned evenly; look, there's this big gap here. The countertops were subcontracted out by House and Earth, but neither company was willing to take responsibility for anything. House and Earth didn't supervise the subcontractors appropriately.
Description of Work: House and Earth were contracted to supply cabinets and quartz countertops.
