The installers removed the old door and in doing so destroyed the special wood trim that we had on our front door which matched the house trim. They did a good job installing the new door, except that the trim they used was a standard (cheap) trim that did not match the rest of the house. When I questioned the trim that the installer used, he got an attitude and told me that's what he was given by Home Depot so he couldn't do anything about it, plus the trim that he removed from the old door had been broken and was unusable . Because of his attitude I called the Home Depot store to complain and informed them about the trim and their installers unprofessional attitude. The manager at Home Depot apologized and worked to find trim that matched what was in our home. He found it at a building supplier. I had to pay for the trim and pick it up, but the Home Depot manager sent the same installer to redo his work, unfortunately he still had the same attitude. The Home Deport manager gave us a $50 credit on our installation charge and apologized for the trouble we had. I have purchased many items at Home Depot and have never had any problems. This was the first time I used their installers and I will not use them again.
