I have been with Hill Country Pools for four years. Excellent service and reasonable repair prices.

Called to make an appointment and they were very helpful. They tried to get the work in the next day but their workload did not allow it to be performed. They scheduled me the next day. Came and did an excellent job and were very professional. I was very pleased on how it all went. I will request their service again.

From start to finish Hill Country Pools was a delight to deal with. They are friendly, courteous, and responsive. They were in constant contact to make sure I was aware of their progress. They were on time and even expedited my request based on the urgency of the situation. I am a big fan of Hill Country Pools and wouldn't go anywhere else.

The technician was prompt, and professional, but like the other company, recommended a new heater as being the only fix possible. He left the heater electrical disconnected, and recommended that it should not be reconnected and used. He provided a quote later the same day which was nice. My problem is the same I had with the other company I had look at the heater and the reason I called this company for a second opinion in the first place--- the only solution after looking at the unit for 5 minutes was a completely new heater. A new thermostat could probably resolve this issue, and the technician even noted, "The thermostat is broken. The heater is very old. Recommend replacing it." Okay, fair enough, but the markup on the heater is outrageous. I asked if he could a.) lower the cost a small amount to make the job easier to swallow, or b.) install the heater if I provided it. (The $2400 heater was $500 cheaper AFTER $200 shipping from a company in AZ). The reply was prompt and again, professional, but he stated that he could not compete with internet pricing. I told him I understand, but countered with what I felt was a (more) fair price, as well as an inquiry if I could purchase the heater elsewhere and have him install it. I received no reply to that email. I have no interest in gouging local, small, business, and understand that they cannot compete with bigger distributors. I feel like this company is taking advantage of its customers, however. I was charged $100 on my credit card for the 15 minute visit (again, I understand it is not cheap to travel to a customer site and it costs money), but then I received another invoice for an additional $5.54 for some odd reason. This is an indicator of the greediness of this company, in my opinion. I am going to try to find someone to install the same heater and save myself $500 or more, while still helping support local business.

Hill country pool employee arrived same day we made service call. The quality determined what repairs needed to be made and did them. We use this company for routine pool cleaning. Employes always prompt, polite and efficient.

We've used Hill Country pools to maintain the chemical balance in our pool since we purchased (2+ years). They are flexible and responsive. In the winter we switch to every-other-week with one phone call. We supply chemicals to save money, but if we run out, they provide them. They replaced the skimmer basket when it fell apart, and replaced gaskets on the pump when it leaked. They leave a note on the door saying what was done with each service call.

Have used Hill Country 25 years, never had a complaint that I recall. They are pro-active in alerting me to potential problems and how to prevent them. Did a great job replacing motor a few years ago.

Responsive company! They are good for regular maintenance. Someone always answers our phone call, and there is no recording.

I have been using Hill Country Pools Inc to clean and maintain my pool for two decades. They are friendly, prompt, competent and available.

The replacement of the pool pumps went well, was done quickly and I was happy with the price. Just a minor concern that the new pump isnt attached to the concrete pad and it jumps considerable every time it starts up which will cause the pipes to loosen over time. Other than that minor issue every thing went great. When the pool was cleaned the next day it was on very short notice so maybe we didn't get the "A" team. The pool was clean but our pool cleaning tools were left laying on the pool deck, our automatic vacuum which had been used by them to wash off the decking was left disconnected and the hose spraying wildly all over the place. Also, they back flushed our filter system but did not replenish the DE which makes the filtering system useless. Over all I was very happy with the pump replacement service but wil not use them to clean our pool again.

They come out every two weeks. They charge me $40. They are really professional and very courteous. I will continue to use them in the future.

We have used Hill Country Pools for approx 20 years and they consistantly provide the finest service, with professional, experienced staff. The owner is a lovely person who is very active in the company and calls to make sure things are going well, ask questions, etc. Something you don't see much these days.

Hill Country Pools is wonderful! They've been coming to our home on a bi-weekly basis for a few years now and we've never had a problem with them. Their technicians are punctual, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Their office staff is great to work with as well. They are honest and I've never felt as though they were trying to push a service or repair on us that we didn't need.

Overall I'm pleased. The work was done quickly and well. They always leave the pool equipment in pristine shape after any repair. My only real complaint is they don't offer the best prices on replacement parts instead pricing them at MSRP when they are easily found on the Internet or even at stores in town at much reduced prices. For the pool pump replacement I later found the same pump for a $100 cheaper at several online stores.

The two men that did the work were on time and called ahead to let me know when they were on their way. They didn't waste anytime when they were here. The biggest part of the bill was the grids which I expected ($193.60 for 7 grids). For the amount of work and time I feel I got my moneys worth. I was home when the work was being done. If I had questions, they were receptive and so was I. I had abdominal surgery and would not be able to do any lifting or straining (push/pull) for 12 weeks. I would use them again based upon my first time experience with this company and the two men (Mark & Sal) that did the work.

I asked them to look at some leaks around pump (after I had relocated the pump myself). Marc quickly diagnosed which gaskets and valve internals were leaking, and replaced them. One needed to be ordered, so it was replaced the next day. Marc also offered to fix some DIY pipes joints that were leaking. I had been putting this off for a few weeks, and Marc fixed it, changed O-rings, and performed the next day servicing in less than 1.25 hrs of labor.

We have been through a few pool companies, but we have been very pleased with this one.
