Description of Work: My pool heater broke just before my grandkids were arriving. I called several pool companies, but Hill Country was the one that came right out, and I had a new heater installed within 2 days. At that point, I found out that their price for pool cleaning was significantly lower than the company I was using, and they do more. So I switched over to their pool-cleaning service last December, and I have been quite satisfied with it.

Description of Work: They came by to give us an estimate for a new pool pump. They came exactly when they said they would come so that was a good thing. However they charged me for the estimate and were quite a bit more expensive then the other vendors. They are also not a preferred provider with the city of Austin so we would not be able to take advantage of the rebate for energy executing pool pumps.

Description of Work: We were searching for a new pool company to manage our pool on a regular basis. We looked at Angie's list and this company had one of the highest ratings. When we called they were rather rude and actually told us to call someone else. It was as though they didn't need new customers. All were were asking was to have the pump checked and the chemicals tested. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: We have had them out to the house several times to take care of our pool when we are away. They are willing to do one-time pool cleaning jobs, which is a big help when we are out of town. They are not cheap but I think they are in the ballpark of other services in the area. The pool is always clean and the chemicals in good order when we get home, so we are happy with their work. Also, we had them come out when we first moved in and one of their technicians kindly took the time to teach us how to take care of our pool.

Description of Work: I called Hill Country Pools to come out and look at a leak, fix the timer and look at a stain in the pool. The pool is about 12 years old. Marc got there exactly on time and said the stain was due to rebar to close to the surface and their wasn't much that could be done for it and told me what was needed to fix the leak and also said the timer needed to be repaired. He then went back to his office and got me an estimate. About a week later when the materials came in, came out and fixed the leak and replaced the timer. I was so impressed with their work and professionalism! I was so excited to have the timer working again so I didn't have to manually turn the pump off and on.

Description of Work: Hill Country Pools performs weekly cleanings of my pool. They are responsive, polite and knowledgeable. I switched to them from another company after being disastisfied with ther service. But now I've used Hill Country Pools for about a year and will remain a loyal customer.
