ron the first washer they called and said it could be fixed for 190.00, I said ok, they ordered the parts then told me it couldn't be fixed, supposedly. they diagnosed it wrong, then right? who knows, they didn't do it right on the second washer, they did not call me for permission to fix, supposedly they will fix under 140 with out permission, I don't know, its not on the reciept, this came to a bit over 150.00. I picked up the washer and it was hard to start, then it would not work. I took it back, they called and told me it would be another 200.00 to fix, I said no and asked for my money back. that's when the sparks flew, so bad that the owner Dougy talked bad about my Mother. refused to refund my money. Bottom line is the washer was not diagnosed correctly, nor was it fixed correctly. I have a hunk of metal that doesn't work. If they had told me that to start we would have been good, but their manager kylie and owner were quite rude and insulting. They were given every opportunity to make it right but refused, when I asked the manager is this is the way they do business, he said yes. what kind of response is that? they used to be 2 and 3 months out, now they don't have much in line, hmmm must be a trend

Repaired a string trimmer. They were prompt, professional and courteous. We have brought several items in for repair and have made several purchases here. Always a good experience.

Only problem is they don't call you when it is ready to be picked up.

The guy at Hill Country Outdoor Power did what he was supposed to do and did it in a good time. He was great.

Their services are very good. They have a broad line and it is anywhere between home owners to contractors. They know their equipment really well and they 2:19-2:20 really well. A lot of people who work at their company are landscaping contractors themselves. There is nothing I dislike about them. I would recommend them to others.

I thought they were pretty good. It is quit a drive to get out there. They are highly recommended. I would my experience over all is pretty good. They got it right the first time. I had to bring back a couple of times, but they always took care of it at no charge. I will continue to use them.

Hill Country Outdoor Power is great. I drive there because of their good service. Yes, I will use them again in the future.

We purchased a Stihl Trimmer from another local Still dealer here in Austin, and were very unsatisfied with the product (little did we know we needed to know how to use this powerful trimmer). The local dealer did not take the product back, saying it was already used, but we only used 2x and the string kept breaking. At a loss - we contacted the Stihl Corporation for resolution and they were awesome, steering us to Hill Country Outdoor Power, Jim Dees (Store Manager). With HCOP not even knowing us - after Stihl explained our delimma, Jim offered to take the product back in his store or go so far as to offer to come out here to show us how to use the product. After a long discussion on Stihl trimmers and all the power that comes with it, he advised us on how to use this equipment to it's fullest potential and after another go at it, the product worked with our whole 3/4 acre lot without breaking down. We immediately called Jim back thanking him so much and that there was no longer a need to come out to Austin all the way from Dripping Springs area . Bottom Line: Hill Country Outdoor Power are very customer oriented. Jim Dees was very pleasant to work with. Jim listened to our delimma. He offered choices (return trimmer to his store for a credit (not even purchased at his store) or offered to come 25 miles to our house to actually watch us use it and show us possibly what the problem was. I could not have asked for anything more. Here forward, for all our outdoor equipment needs, we will drive to HIll Country Outdoor Power ...They Rock!

With all the dry weather we've been having our trees are really in bad shape, so we needed to get a new chainsaw and clear out some space for the good trees to thrive. I visited Hill Country Outdoor Power because it's on the way to my friend's place in Dripping Springs, and it was a wonderful experience. Ed, the assistant manager, was very knowledgeable and really helped me pick out the right Stihl chainsaw for my needs. He didn't try to talk me into something more than I needed. He even got it all ready and started it up and gave me some hands-on tips of how to use it and keep it running well. It was an A+ full-service experience from the very beginning, NOTHING like I got from the guys at a certain large lawn and garden store this morning. Thanks Ed, I'll be back for a new mower once we get some rain!!
