John was very prompt. Came in for in-home quote same day and fixed the drywall the next day. He gave me instructions on how long to wait and how to paint the patch. I can't tell a large 2'x2' was replaced. He also fixed a small issue in our kitchen free-of-charge. Thanks John for your great work!

Very prompt, he removed and replaced the drywall within an hour. He also referred us to someone who was able to do necessary repairs to the roof, which caused the damage in the first place. Very friendly!

I had a relatively small drywall job to fix 7 cutouts made by an electrician installing a new circuit in my house. John came out to give me a drywall repair quote within a couple of days of me contacting him, and we scheduled the work date during that same visit. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the fair pricing. He was able to complete the work in a couple of hours.

Hernandez Drywall did a great job patching a couple holes in my ceiling from where I had some HVAC supply ducts moved. They also fixed a couple of spots where drywall was bulging so it looked flat, and textured the walls where they fixed it. John and his nephew showed up on time, were professional, and did high quality work for a good price. I highly recommend them!

Amazing. From our initial contact to the estimate to the completion of the work, we are absolutely thrilled with the work Hernandez Drywall performed. Over three days, they hung drywall, added texture to the ceiling, painted our 2nd Floor ceiling, painted our kitchen, and changed out 7 light fixtures. The scaffolding was assembled and moved around our first floor with care. They protected our stairs, moved our furniture, and took extra care to clean up each day. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

We had some really awful wall textures in our new place. Like so bad, I thought we'd have to replace the drywall instead of skimming it. I called John for a quote, and he talked me through the whole job, and at the end, he told me "I do the job right." After getting some more quotes, John's was on par with everyone else, but he was the only one who told me "I do the job right." So I called him and we set up a time to start. I'm so very glad I did. John and his team came in, set up and fixed our walls as if they were new. It was done fast and it was done right. Just like he promised. When we have to do more work I will definitely call John again, and if anyone ever asks me for a recommendation, I will recommend John.

To begin with, they didn’t match the paint and so they used old paint which didn’t match the new paint. We had to take our own piece of the drywall up to match but they had already painted everything. We had to repaint things because it didn’t match the rest of the wall. Aside from the paint fiasco they painted just fine, but just a horrible overall experience with them.

Great! We are very pleased with the results. Pricing was very fair compared to other quotes. We were also given quotes on the spot instead of having to wait for someone to get back to us with an "official" number. Will definitely be in touch when we update the drywall in our garage.

In our full home remodel, he was one of the best contractors we worked with. He was honest, hard-working, gave fair prices, did great work, and I will certainly be using again. We didn't use a general contractor for our remodel, and he educated us on the wall texturing process for our walls and actually explained what we were trying to do was too expensive. He offered me what I thought was a fair price to not only patch the hole, but also fix the area poorly repaired before and was able to do the work the following business day. John's work was very professional. The tape and float was seamless. His texture matched the rest of the wall. And on top of that, he added reinforcement behind the drywall at the height of the door knob! Hernandez Drywall did a great job for me. I've hired many drywall companies for everything ranging from complete new homes to small patch work to repair holes... hands down, as long as I'm living in Austin and John Hernandez is still in business, I will never need to hire another drywall company. John and his crew were very punctual, completed the job earlier than expected, and the quality was amazing. A few areas required a little touch up work which John had fixed immediately. While John may not be the least expensive bid you receive, John stands behind all of his work. He required no money up front and did not want payment for the job until we were completely satisfied. I look forward to my next remodel having someone like John on my team!
