Hercules Foundation Repair

I have slat flooring that is level and looking great in 95% of my house. In places, it is "teepeeing" or separating because the subfloor is not level. Two possible reasons why this happens: foundation is not level, or the subfloor is warping/expanding/coming loose. My subfloor is fine... I have a problem with the foundation. I had Hercules SA office sales rep come out and look at this 2+ years ago. The first thing I showed him were the problems with finished floor - that's why I called him out. He put down a device to measure how much house was out of level, and it was quite a bit from high to low, about 3" if I remember. I hired him to come fix my foundation. Team came out, they worked hard, they were great. A few hours later they told me they were done. I asked how long until my floors looked better. The team lead shook his head. He told me the work they did would not fix my floors. I was stunned. I'd already paid for the work. The main issue I have is that the salesman knew what my problem was (it was the only thing I mentioned in the sales meeting), and he didn't have the decency to tell me outright that either 1) it would cost a lot to fix my problem, or 2) his company would not be able to fix it. Instead he quoted me some work so he could get paid. It's been well over 2 years now, and my floor hasn't changed much, for the better or the worse. What probably needed to happen was for someone to go under the house (pier and beam) and re-shim all the points where subfloor sits on the foundation. The salesman should have told me that. He was dishonest, or disingenuous. In the contract (and verbally) he told me he'd be out once a year to check on things for the next 10 years. Haven't heard from the guy once since that day. I want to work with people who shoot straight. If you feel the same way, avoid Hercules, at least, avoid the SA office sales rep I talked to. Dissatisfied from day one, Keith Marbach
