+ -1 moreDuring the walk, in the first spot for wallpaper (there were four!) Peter stated he wanted me to purchase more wallpaper to go BEHIND a mirror. When I politely questioned this and asked how we could work with what we already owned instead of spending a few hundred dollars for wallpaper hidden behind a mirror, he became frustrated. The contractor took him downstairs to look at the purchased wallpaper while I went to check on my infant son. Five minutes later when I looked for Peter HE HAD LEFT!!! Not a word to me, goodbye or anything! HE JUST WALKED OUT! At least say goodbye to the homeowner and have the courtesy to state that you are unavailable or it is not a job for you. He just walked out!
Description of Work: Very unprofessional in his behavior. He came to my home with my contractor to give a quote. I already purchased all the wallpapers based on measurements from four other providers. Due to a late shipment my original wallpaper installer was no longer available.

Description of Work: Absolutely outrageous quote and when asked what went into the pricing to see if there was a way to either cut portions of the job or have someone else do prep (myself potentially) to cut costs, was told he was "running a business and needed to pay workers comp and taxes" and that was why the rate was what it was. He also said "well you obviously paid $2000 for the paper since it's from England, so I don't know why you have a problem with my quote."
