Working with the Green Knight Tea, (Joel, Brett, Ishmal, Armondo and Bashir, was a real pleasure! They install and delivered an excellent experience throughout every step of the project. Communication, starting with sales continuing with the implementation team was key and they stayed on top of informing us daily of what was completed and what was to happen the next day. The team cleaned up daily which was a real delight for us. I HIGHLY recommend them for your beautiful new roof project!

The 5 star rating comes with caveats. #1 stay actively engaged with your crew. There was an initial lack of communication about all the style options available to me i.e. (ridge caps and finishing trim) during the sales process - but once I got engaged with the crew and during the 'walk through' before the work began, there was common agreement on the craftsmanship details and everyone was quite responsive. (I opted for a low profile cap ridge look) The crew was fast, efficient, and respectful of my requests for certain finishing details. Those finishing touches on the metal roof (ridge caps and curb appeal features) were most important to me so I drove around town and took pictures of metal roofs I liked and they replicated the details. They cleaned the work area every day and that was fantastic. I hope they begin to build a portfolio/gallery of residential roofs they have done so you are most informed up front. #2 If you don't like a detail or have concerns speak up with the crew while the work is happening and they will make it right. #3 Their referral program is disappointing - you are told there is a $50 gift card for all referrals you make but it is not really a gift card - it is a $50 credit to select restaurants - a club membership and the $250 cash referral for those referrals who actually sign on is only for the new purchaser - not you. All in all, I got an incredible crew to work on my roof and their Director of Operations is the glue to everything positive that happened at my home. My home looks fabulous.

Fantastic! From the Installers to the owner of the company, they really came through at a time when contractors were struggling to get to jobsites on-time. The roof was impeccable and the price fair, just extremely happy with the service, installation and quality. The best of the best!

Our home was hit by the Super Cell storm of January 10, 2020. Our roof was damaged in several places even to the point of exposing the raw wood under the shingles. We looked for a good reputable company to do our roof, we knew we wanted to replace the shingle roof material with a metal roof, one with the best gage metal and capable to withstand 120+ mph wind gusts. After reviewing four companies and their bids, we selected Green Knight to do our metal roofing for several reasons; first was the fact that Green Knight does metal roofing only, not shingles; second they demonstrated they had heard us and addressed our requests with proof of their work, having veteran roofing staff with the experience we were looking for; and third, which surprised us was the pricing. Green Knight had the most reasonable pricing and did not try to push us to go with another type of roofing material for our home. We knew also, that our roof construction was very complex, with challenging slope (9/12), and that it would require a capable company with the experience and expertise to install it properly and professionally. Green Knight did not disappoint us, they did a superb job and we are extremely pleased with their work, their warranty, their professionalism, and for their responsiveness to our requests and needs. We strongly recommend Green Knight to anyone looking to install a metal roof. They are the Real Deal! Thank you Green Knight!!!

This was a pleasant and drama free major expense. The salesman, Mark Pollard, explained everything in detail , which others who bid did not. The contract was to the letter of that which we spoke. The roof looks fantastic. All concerns were addressed immediately. They only do metal roofs, so if you are in the market, this should be your first and last stop to look!

Green Knight was great. Very professional and quality is top notch. Don't go with another roofer if your looking in Central Texas.

GREAT COMPANY! Green Knight just replaced our shingle roof with a standing seam metal roof. The longevity and attractive appearance of our new metal roof means we won't need to replace the roof on this house again, and it will increase the value when we sell. The company was thorough and professional from the first meeting to the final walkthrough. Brett took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us decide what would work best for us. He developed a clear statement of work, then reviewed it with us and answered all our questions to make sure we shared a clear understanding of what to expect. Throughout the project, we were always kept up to date regarding the status of the project (including delays and issues that inevitably pop up). Andres, the project manager provided regular (usually daily) updates which always included asking if we had any questions, problems or concerns. The Green Knight installation crew was great. They arrived on time, did their job in a very efficient, professional and courteous way, and left the site neat and clean at the end of each day. Their skill, craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. Our job included a complex roof area that we knew from the start would be a challenge. It took a lot of work and re-work get it right, but they brought in their sheet metal Jedi to create custom sheet metal parts that enabled a solution we're very pleased with. At the end of the job, they did a thorough inspection and detailing, ensuring that everything was completely sealed, screw heads were painted and any scratches were repaired using paint from the panel manufacturer. Having witnessed the craftsmanship and attention to detail during the installation, we don't anticipate needing to take advantage of their 5 year workmanship warranty, but it's evidence of the company's passion for quality service and customer satisfaction. We're very happy that we decided to step up from shingles to a metal roof and that we selected Green Knight as our contractor.

Green Knight Metal Roofing saved us when we had to correct work done by a highly rated roof company that simply did not live up to their 5-star rating. We are big believers in reading vendor reviews before committing to big house expenses. However, this time it backfired. We hired a roofing company based on reviews and it was horrible. From beginning to end, there were issues all along the way. Thankfully Green Knight Metal Roofing was able to act as our advisor to ensure our original vendor corrected their work. The knowledge, professionalism and ethics that Green Knight Metal Roofing exhibited impressed us each step of the way. Their installers are quality checked at each job to ensure the work is done right. The materials are specific to each job. The communications are clear and not-rushed. They simply do the best job in an honorable way. We could not recommend them any higher. You will not be disappointed.

The short answer is FANTASTIC! We first met with Bret Smith, Green Knight's production manager, and then Joel Kenty, chief strategist. Once we agreed on the product, pricing, and schedule, it was "off to the races". Bret told us that once the material was received (in 3-4 weeks), the job would take about 10 days, weather permitting. It actually took a bit longer--7 weeks--in part due to weather delays, shortage of material, and a much more complex roof pattern than anybody suspected. As the job progressed, I was most impressed by the skill and artistry of the crew (we had 6 crew working on the roof that entire time). They were not satisfied with anything less than absolute perfection. Every single day when they stopped work, they would tidy the place up. They picked up every bit of scrap and garbage, they tucked their tools, ladders, and material off to the side, and made sure everything was to our liking. Every day. In addition to the on-site crew, we were in regular contact with Bret and Andres Tirado, the off-site project manager, who frequently called or stopped by to see how things were going. Andres was always available to solve whatever immediate problem might have occurred. Despite the time the project took and the constant banging (our three cats may need professional help to get over the “shell-shock”!), we could not be happier. This roof is definitely made to last and look beautiful.

We replaced our old roof (asphalt shingles) with a metal roof. If you're looking for a metal roof with color/texture options there are many choices. We are very pleased with the quality product that Green Knight offered. From sales to install, the crew was highly skilled and professional. The job was done quickly and the clean-up was fast and thorough.

We love our new roof, and we get compliments on it often. It is beautiful and incredibly well made and installed. Admittedly expensive, the price was fairly competitive, and well worth it. The employees at Green Knight are wonderful; they maintained the cleanest work site I have ever seen (and I have remodeled several houses). I would highly recommend Green Knight to anyone who wants a beautiful, impeccably constructed and installed metal roof.

I looked on Angie's list for a metal roof company. They promptly called and showed up to measure and quote the roof. They measured the roof and quoted it. We decided that we should get a second quote, with the cost. The competitor came in 2k lower, but with all the reviews and the meeting with Green knight, we decided the additional cost was worth using them. They came back a 2nd time to pick colors and do an "exact" measurement so they could order materials and collect a deposit. We picked a color and told them to put us on the schedule. About 30 minutes later, Mark our salesperson, came back and said he could not honor the price he quoted. He said his first measurements (he measured it the first time too) were incorrect, so my price would jump from 25k to around 40k. Very disappointed.

I interviewed 6 roofing companies. I am so happy that I chose GK. Everyone associated with the installation of our new roof was thorough, professional, knowledgeable and met all my expectations. Due to the age of the roof, we had multiple issues that had to be resolved in order to complete the installation. Custom fabrication was necessary. NO MORE LEAKS!!! The crew was amazing. Timely, courteous and expert craftsmen. The space around our home was always kept clean and tidy. The roof looks great and our house looks so much better!!! Green Knight is THE BEST!!!

Green Knight Metal Roofing specializes exclusively in metal roofing and was able to provide better pricing than other competitors. The team was incredibly responsive and their knowledge of metal roofs gave me a lot of confidence. Alex and his team were very respectful of our time and space during the process and cleaned up after each day's work. At the end, Brett and his team did not nickle and dime us for rotten wood and other items fixed during the process which was a great relief. I am very impressed with the final product and would be happy to recommend GKMR to others.

The installation went smoothly and the area around the house was cleaned of all debris at the end of the project.

Green Knight replaced the roof on my house with a beautiful barrel style roof that looks like clay tiles but is metal. It has a fantastic warranty. They also replaced the roof and walls on a large metal building and a small shed. I am very happy with the work. Any questions or concerns I had throughout the process were immediately addressed. I didn't like a panel so they replaced it. They kept the job site around the house clean and the workers were professional and courteous. I highly recommend Green Knight.

Green Knight Metal Roofing ([*** Link removed ***] did an excellent job replacing our metal roof. We did extensive research regarding meal roofing and contractors due to the cost and we wanted to get it right the first time. Searched the Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) ([*** Link removed ***] which provided excellent information and a list of contractors. We developed a detailed list of questions regarding the type of metal roofing, the thickness, the coating applied, warranties for the roofing and installation, and asked for references. Sent to the questions to contractors found using MRA, Angie’s List, Home Advisor, and Thumbtack. Over half the contractors did not even respond. Narrowed the list down to four by using the Better Business Bureau reviews and customer reviews found on the Internet. Got three quotes. Two quotes were very close. Went with Green Knight based upon, price, customer reviews, references, quality of home demonstration, and no pressure to sign a contract. Brett Laughlin and Shane were very informative and got answers to all our questions and provided information on some areas we were not smart enough to ask during the home demonstration! Large residential project with over 8,000 square feet of roof removal, installation of sheathing and weather proofing, and installation of standing rib metal roof. Project Manager Bret Smith and his crew were very professional and accommodating when some surprises were found (rot and lack of insulation and adequate attic ventilation). Did not nickel and dime us. Crew was led by Alex who kept us informed of progress and any issues that arose. Alex and his crew always cleaned up each evening prior to leaving the house. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend Green Knight as your metal roofing contractor.

BUYER BEWARE OF ADVANTAGE METAL ROOFS. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK. Four years ago, we bought a wonderful new house. One of the selling points was that it had an almost brand-new metal roof. The roof was 3 years old when we purchased, with a 40-year warranty, by Advantage Metal Roofs. This year, 2017, we got a leak. The roof is 7 years old. Of course, we immediately called Advantage Metal Roofs to come fix the problem. They informed us that our roof was no longer under warranty, as we did not do a "warranty transfer" when we bought the house. The previous owners gave us their roofing paperwork when we purchased. NOWHERE in that paperwork is there any mention of a warranty transfer requirement. NOWHERE. We have been informed that since we bought the house, Advantage is under new management, and that is their new policy. Plain and simple....if they can worm their way out of honoring their warranty, they will do it. DO NOT USE THEM OR TRUST THEM.

Switching over to a metal roof is expensive, but since we are not planning on moving, it will be worth it. We will not have to replace the roof again unless there is some kind of natural disaster. Can't say enough positive comments about everyone we dealt with at the company. We started with Bret L. who we met at the Austin Home and Garden show. He walked us through the entire process. He even had samples so he could show us exactly how the pieces fit together. He answered all of our questions, my husband and I had several. He showed us all the possible options. He was very up front about everything and was never pushy. We never felt pressured. Next we met Bret S. He was the on site supervisor. He was very friendly and was always checking to see if there was anything that we had a question about during the process. The entire crew was punctual, polite, and very hard working. The job was finished on time and when they left you couldn't tell they had been there, other than the amazing looking roof. We have already had a couple of thunderstorms with no problems. The next test will be to see if the new roof and attic vents will help with the summer AC bills. We haven't had to turn the AC on yet so I guess that is a good sign.

It was better than I could have hoped. They were very professional on the front end with great communication from their office manager Pam. They are not the cheapest, but metal roofs are their business. I wanted it done right and their crew installed it as well as it could be done using high quality materials. I am an engineer so I paid attention to every detail. Everything was done up to high standards. They are a very established business. I highly, highly recommend Advantage Metal roofs.

They came when they said they would - they were courteous and professional - quite neat - only found a few pieces of metal in shrubs/trees. Completed the job on time; worked with the City of Austin and our HOA to abide by guidelines; assisted with rebate program

My wife and I recently purchased a home that is 25 years old (one owner) and it needed a lot of updates. We heard of Advantage Metal Roofs / Graeme Wright through some friends of ours who highly recomended his services. While we had a long list of items we wanted to have updated we knew we had to stay within our budget. Graeme did a great job of helping us maximize our budget while not cutting on items that would have impacted the overall quality. Both his team and the sub contactors he used were honest and very professional. The Advantage Metal Roofing team was able to handled every aspect or our remodel, we found that a very nice benefit as we did not have to find any of our own contactors. My only recommendation would be that they should change the name of the company as they do much more than just metal roofs!

We can't say enough good things about this company. Professional, diligent, excellent product, decent pricing. From the moment they started removing off our old metal roof, they were here early every morning like clockwork. The guys were like machines---they worked on our roof every day (every day it was over 100 degrees) until early evening--until the job was completed. They did not skip a work day, they did not skip a work hour. They did the most incredible job. They evened out inconsistencies in our roof line, they replaced rotted wood with fresh wood, they used superb materials on the decking, they meticulously picked up all nails and screws, The new metal they used looks great, and is strong, strong, strong. They cut and fabricated it on the spot. They are A++++++ in my book!!! Oh, and unlike the roofing company we used many years ago, Advantage Metal Roofing gives us a lifetime warranty on our new roof. They are beyond excellent! If you choose them, you will get an excellent quality product, and fantastic workmanship
