Can't say enough about my experience with Brock at Grayzer Electric. I found Grayzer via a Google search and contacted them based on their high reviews. I was not disappointed. From the start, Jessica was very informative in setting up the appointment and guiding me in what I would need to consider in the install of a single coachlight over my garage door. Meeting the electrician, Brock, just carried over my buyer's confidence even more. He arrived on time and got to work, helping me decide on placement, size, and set up. He instructed me clearly on not only how to direct the necessary masonry pre-work for my install but also on a recommended timer for my fixture. Next, he engaged me on desired fixture placement, treated all of my questions with respect and patience, and got to work on the wiring. The wiring and conduit was clean and unobtrusive. He saved me money by suggesting the timer setup and I've not looked back. Neighbors marvel at how tidy the conduit and end results look. And the light is a beautiful add to my home. Finally, and as if their incredible service is not enough reason to reach out, Grayzer's prices CANNOT be beat! Grayzer came out, looked at what I needed, and sent me a bid for the work. Also, they were the only electric company that I had out for a bid who told me that installing an outlet for my hybrid car qualified me for a rebate of 50% back for the cost of installation, parts, city permit, etc, from the City of Austin. The kept me updated on all of the work, the city's inspector, and will help me get my rebate. I will continue to use Grayzer in the future - wish I had known about them earlier. Steve J.

Over the years I have worked with a different number of electricians first for my condo then for my single family home. Of all these electricians, Grayzer Electric is hands down THE BEST!! I will hire them again in a heartbeat. They will be my go-to electrician going forward. I needed four recessed ceiling lights installed in my study, and the replacement of a pantry light that had gone out, as well as four new outlets installed. I emailed Grayzer Electric and received a very timely response. From there the technician asked me to send him pictures of my slopped ceiling of my study, and he promptly emailed me back with his images suggesting where to put the ceiling lights. We exchanged a couple of emails on which kind of trims to choose and the email correspondence is always prompt, courteous, and professional. The day before the appointment they emailed me with details about the upcoming appointment, and on the day of the appointment the electrician called me about 20 minutes beforehand to notify me of his arrival. The technician was very professional and very knowledgeable. Upon his recommendation we made some last minute changes to the trim of the bulbs. He spent 7 hours working at my house that day without a lunch break! And, he was able to figure out the problem with the pantry light - a problem that a previous electrician I hired was not able to figure out - it was a door switch that went bad. This company is very professional, the technician who came to my house is extremely nice and very easy to talk to. Usually with service providers a concern is trust. With this company I trust them 100%. I recommend this company without any reservation.

Grayzer was great to work with on our project. Upon emailing them, they quickly arranged a walk-through and gave us a very detailed estimate. I had written a few places for bids, but Grayzer was the fastest and most thorough, all for free. They were quick to answer questions and revise the estimate until we were satisfied. On the arranged day of work they showed up exactly on time at 8, with a courtesy call 15 minutes before. The two electricians were polite, listened to any concerns, and completed the task in a clean, efficient way. I'm glad I chose Grayzer!

Grayzer Electric was upfront and clear with the cost prior to service. Installation was fast. I'm glad they were able to install recessed lights without attic access above the ceiling. Advice: Schedule an appointment early. They only had availability three weeks after the day I called.

Overall - everything was just a little bit sloppy. They were trying to work within our schedule (nice), but that seemed to make it more challenging. They showed up to complete the 1st part of the job (install a new outlet) and they were a little fuzzy on what worked needed to be done - it's prob our fault for not reviewing the contract better. Ultimately, they charged us an extra $300 for that outlet, even though it was the primary reason we started quoting the job. I would say the pricing confusion is probably an issue on both of our part, but my real issue with them was that everything was just a little sloppy: Materials left in the yard around the braker box, the braker box mapping was hastily scribbled in black marker on the box, barely legible (this was a line-item that was $350!). We've definitely worked with better electricians.

The electrician did a great job addressing my concern plus provided advice on other electrical updates that I wanted to address without implying that it was an unnecessary emergency.

Andy from Grayzer arrived at scheduled time. He was very friendly, professional and efficient, and explained how everything worked and answered all the questions I had. Was in and out within the hour. Awesome service….Will definitely use again.

Great work, very professional and prompt. They did exactly what they said they would do and we're very friendly, respectful of our home.

They are busy, so it took about a week to get an appointment. I presented the office a fairly long list of electrical needs, from finishing up city permitted work on a water heater installation, to repairing light switches and plugs, to adding a whole-house surge protector, and installing new coach lights. Aaron called as promised and showed up right on time. He worked efficiently and also answered some pressing questions I had entailing possible future work. He was super helpful and friendly, and clearly explained the pricing, which seemed fair to me. I will definitely call them again.

They did a very nice job. The appt was booked a few weeks in advance because they are busy and I was out of town. They sent a reminder email the day before (that's great!) and then showed up at the appointed time window (two hours) with a call they were on their way. The job took less than 1 hour, i was charged a fare price. All in all, very pleased. I will use them again!

Jeff was great, the work is by the hour and you moves fast, he was running up and down 2 flights of stairs. Would definitely recommend Grayzer Electric.
