GRACELAND Windows

I did research with various door companies. I wanted a door that would handle the Texas heat and also be bug resistant. After speaking to many representatives, I went with Jeld-Wen doors. I contact Jacob Boone about installation. He sent out Dominic to do the measurements so I could order what I wanted from Home Depot. Jacob could've done the order but I chose to do it myself. When the doors arrived at the beginning of April, I contacted Jacob for the install. Austin Texas had a wet April so the doors did not get installed until the end of April. Jacob sent Dominic to do the installation. Dominic arrived around 10'ish with the Jeld-Wen exterior doors I ordered from Home Depot. He demo'd the existing doors and prepared the area using the recommended procedures by Jeld-Wen. Once he was finished with the demo, Jacob arrived to help him set the two doors in. After that it was seal, frame inside and out and then finishing up around the frame with caulking. Dominic kept the work area clean. He cleaned up all debris inside and outside and disposed of the old doors. He even took our old front door to the dump. It pays to hire someone that has over 18+ years installing windows and doors. I had expected a two day installation but Dominic was able to finish it in one day. After having my front door installed by a terrible installer who wasn't careful and damaged the baseboards, it was wonderful to find someone that is so careful in what they do that no damage occurred to the baseboards or walls. Dominic is definitely a PROFESSIONAL when it comes to a clean install. We're contemplating changing the front door side windows and will definitely contact Graceland Windows, Doors, and Design for the installation.
