Golds Gym

The class is really organized. It is really clean and you can get in and get out of there, it's huge. It is such a big gym that there was no any line. The teachers are good, no hassle. The customer service is great and they don't require anything from you. I just hope they can stay up more at night although they are open until ten at night which is still a good hour but I wish they can still stay more.

The main attraction of Gold's for me was the price, the numerous locations, decent equipment and the (believe it or not) non-pretentious attitude. This particular Gold's gym (located on 183 close to MoPAC) is an older facility that has been updated. While the building itself is old and doesn't have much to be desired, it is very spacious, has the latest equipment and kept pretty clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Sometimes they are a little and quot;less professionaland quot; late night, but that can be expected. They don't try to push their products on you, however if you are interested in personal training, there is usually someone there. They do not provide towels, like other places, but then again, they are 1/4 the price of some of those other gyms. This particular facility has a small lap-pool and sauna. There is a large cadrio and matt area with a lot of machines - enough even during the 5-6pm and quot;rush hourand quot;. There are many weight machines and a special room for free weights. Lots of TVs around the facility, but the music/sound isn't too loud so if you have your own music you don't get bothered by what's playing on the speakers. I find that the majority of the members and staff are very nice and down-to-earth and the majority try to be courteous and clean after themselves.

It is convenient. They have a lot of equipment. They have a lot of classes, but I don't use those classes. The main advantage is that there is a lot of equipment.
