Description of Work: Really good guy. His shop is in his house in South Austin. Picked up four of our dining chairs that were getting loose in the joints, reset all the joints with glue, and we picked them up. The dining chairs look perfect and are now sturdy again!

Description of Work: Our dog chewed on a brand new sofa table on the edge of the lower shelf. The wood finish was chewed on a section.approx 4" X 2". I called Mike and left a message. He returned call and we arranged a time to bring the table to his shop. He reviewed the damage and gave me an estimate regarding time of completion and cost,

+ -1 moreMike came out to the house to access the damage and took the bed back to his shop. He was very quick to respond and gave me a ballpark estimate for cost and time to be repaired. He was one time, very professional and I would highly recommend him! We have used him twice now for other furniture items in the house and will continue to use him in the future.
Description of Work: We recently moved and the movers damaged the head and footboard. The footboard was split on one side and the movers tried to hide the break by gluing it. Mike was able to remove the old glue, reset the frame and match the color, so you only see a small hairline now.

+ -1 moreI had purchased a large wood table on sale, and when it was delivered it had a damaged leg. I wasn’t sure if it was damage that I overlooked when I purchased it, or if something happened during delivery, but it seemed easy to repair. A friend of mine tried to fix it, and actually made it worse. After a few weeks of the table laying on its’ side in my dining room, I called Mike (based on good city search reviews). He is on the other side of town, but had plans to be out my way the next week, so we made plans to catch up at that time (which saved me the cost of him making a special trip). Because the table was very large, Mike brought tools and supplies to repair it at my house, and he was able to complete the job in about 30 minutes. Since the table is so large, I was pleased that Mike was able to perform the repairs at my house. I found Mike professional and courteous. He did a great job, at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use him again for furniture repairs.
