t I hired them to do a make-ready cleaning of my house prior the closing of the sale, but only after talking to their owner Josh on the phone about my concerns based on yelp reviews I read. He assured me they would send their best crew, do a great job, and if we were not happy, they would fix it. Josh estimated it would take 3 hours to clean my house, plus or minus. After three hours the cleaners called and told me they needed two additional hours to clean the two spare bedrooms after she assured me everything else was done. These bedrooms were NEVER USED and the doors were kept closed. I told the girl it was ridiculous to say it would take that much time to clean the unused bedrooms, (there were not blinds on the windows, only curtains, and hardwood floors.,) and that I would only authorize one more hour. I told the girl that if she needed more time she would need to call back and explain what they couldn't get done. She agreed, saying she had not even looked in the bedrooms yet, and never called back. When I got home, I discovered that the invoice showed the job was completed, but they had charged me for 4.5 hours-- half an hour more than I agreed to. I was thinking-- no big deal, as long as the job was done. Upon inspecting the cleaning, they had done a TERRIBLE job. Here's a list of issues. 1. The wood blinds were cleaned, but the windows behind them were not, they were filthy. 2.The floors were cleaned, but they didn't scrub any spots off, forgot to mop the laundry area and pantry, didn't clean spots around the sink, stove, dishwasher, or washing machine. Whatever product they used to clean the floors left them sticky and showing every footprint across them. (The house has all bamboo flooring and tile in the wet areas.) 3. The walls were not dusted AT ALL-- there was significant dust and cobwebs left around the house. Ceiling fans were dusted, but poorly. 4. The shower was poorly cleaned and still had stains 5. They did not do any spot cleaning on the walls as was promised. 6. The products they used smelled terrible-- like chemicals. It gave me a headache to stay in the house. 7. Blinds and windowsills in the stairway were completely ignored When I called Josh to complain, he told me IT WAS MY FAULT the cleaning wasn't completed b/c I wouldn't authorize them to work the additional time-- because apparently half an hour would have fixed all of the above issues. (??) He also refused to come look at the condition of the house b/c it was "already 5:30." He told me he would only come fix the issues if I paid him for his time-- Some kind of guarantee, huh? I hired this company because they offered a competitive price and offered to do things other companies didn't-- such as spot clean walls-- and because they offered a guarantee. I also incorrectly assumed the work would be inspected by a supervisor. Josh refused to even come look at the work. The bill was for OVER $320!!!! To make by buyer happy, I ended up having to hire a second cleaning crew and pay them an additional $166 to get the house to an acceptable state. Get Maid Already might have lower rates, but they made up for it by being terribly slow and having horrible costumer service. When I told Josh I would write this review, he said he didn't care, he would just counter it, as he has all of the others. Save yourself a big headache and don't hire this company.

I very rarely leave Owner Comments on review sites. I believe this is a forum for customers to interact with each other and post reviews about their experiences, without influence from the company at every turn. For good or bad, I virtually always stay away. However, in this case I feel obligated to defend our company against the disparaging half-truth's stated within this review. I won't go at length to comment on everything I disagree with -- just the main point of difference that I feel needs clarification. The estimate I gave the reviewer was based on historical data and is an average amount of time to expect for an average job. This was a large house and a difficult job that required additional time to complete. Our crew contacted the client to provide her with their professional opinion that it was going to take more time than initially estimated to complete the job. The client disagreed with our assessment and refused to authorize the additional time. Regardless of where we are at in our cleaning routine, we cannot stay and work if the client tells us not to. The client knew the job was incomplete. We knew the job was incomplete. This much was communicated at length. She didn't authorize us to stay and finish, so we left. We did exactly what the client instructed us to do. We had no other choice -- this was not our call to make. At this point, the client wants us to return, with the sole burden of cost upon our company, to do the work she did not authorize us to do initially. We disagree with this as a remedy and refuse to be strong-armed by unreasonable means to avoid a bad review. This is the essence of the debate. Of which, I can't seem to communicate effectively with the reviewer. I apologize for that alone. I trust the reader to take this information into account when evaluating this review. As a small business owner, I take customer concerns very close to the heart. We strive everyday to help our clients, to be fully honest, and to provide service above expectation. I was very happy with this company. They were very efficient and cleaned my apartment very satisfactorily. They always arrived on time and they always sent the same people so I felt comfortable each time they came.
