GARDEN STREET CONSTRUCTION

Only living in our home 1 yr and 8th months in this flip remolded home-our entire BRAND NEW Master bath shower was installed incorrectly and caused major water damage. Either no shower pan or they drilled holes through it. MAJOR water damage due to this has occurred. Entire back half of the house will need to be ripped out and re-done. Windows are all different sizes and were not working, some would not stay up or lock. We had to pay out of pocket after living there 2 months. His "mother" wrote a letter saying they were NOT responsible which according to TREC they were. Electrical is done incorrectly and hot wires are exposed in many areas. We are in the process of consulting legal help against him personally & His mother Garden Street Construction. Furnaces was not sealed and laid on wires crushing and causing a short. Return air ducts had holes and gaps a ft or more and were not properly sealed. had to pay and hire someone to do it all. Gutters don?t work and leak. Window boxes are poorly installed and water lies on all sills Decks were not stained properly and fence was not stained at all. Crawl spaces were wide open no doors were put on. There are gaps in the siding that will eventually lead to water damage. All exposed wood was wrong type of wood and the exposed wood was barely stained. Now its all needed to be painted. This is the newest disaster...There are flashing problems an inch or more along the entire back of the house that has water leaking into the walls. TX could not find any license on his name or the company itself His employees are all usually all day laborers and we were told by the neighbors he didnt pay them so they all walked off the job mid flip..STAY AWAY Also he is no where to be found and never returns calls, but if we did he would never own up to his mistakes and offer to pay for the repairs. His mother is just as bad..We hired legal help and are in the process of putting together all of our photos and paperworks..Its just a mess..PLEASE DO NOT GET STUCK LIKE WE DID..

Overall it went very well, better than expected. All contractors were very professional and all coordinated by Mr. Ransdell. He provided an excellent service exactly tailored to my needs and budget. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
