They were really good. He was wonderful; he looked at the front of the house and got the colorization so that the color would work well with the rest of the house. He did a really good job with it. The guy that did it was on time; they were neat and did a very thorough job on it. We have really enjoyed that job. It is really easy to rinse it out when the cars track in the mud. The price was very competitive. I am planning on using them to do the concrete staining on the patio in my back yard, driveway and walkway.

This is our third custom garage floor coating. Previous ones were done by Premier Garage Floors which no longer serves the Austin area. We could not be more pleased with the work and finished product that Jane Taylor (owns Garage Monkeyz in Austin) and her assistant, Pat, delivered. First step was to remove the existing epoxy garage floor cover. I was amazed at how hard Pat worked, using a diamond bit sander, to remove all the old surface down to the concrete. He explained that this was necessary for a long-lasting bond between the concrete and the new epoxy surface. They give a lifetime guarantee on their new floors and perfect preparation is why. I watched Pat then put pown the new epoxy and his attention to detail around existing cabinets, corners and rises was impressive. Likewise, his careful attention while applying the color flakes for the top coat produced as near perfect final product as possible. It is so nice to have a contractor do such a great job.

We wanted an epoxy floor for several years and due to concerns with the DIY kits, knew we wanted some professionals to do the work. We picked a winner with Garage Monkeyz! They were timely, professional, and did a great job. I would gladly recommend them to anybody considering an epoxy floor. Our first contact was with Tiffany who scheduled a time to discuss the process, measure the garage, and review samples to determine which color we wanted. When Tiffany arrived, we were very impressed by the number and size of the samples (think they were 12" x 12") - we could get a good feel for how the finished floor would look. We debated a color combination that they did not have a sample. Consistent with their outstanding service, they made a new sample for us. After we decided on a color combination, we scheduled the work to happen a few weeks out. As we got closer, the weather forecast called for rain and Jane contacted us to explain how rain and humidity impacted the work to be performed. As a result, we delayed a few days to the weekend for the work to be done. Jane and her co-workers came out on Saturday morning and started the cleaning, sealing, and epoxy process. They were very considerate of our house and schedule. By 6:00 pm, the floor had been epoxied and chips were applied. The first day's work was complete and it looked great. The next day, they arrived early to review how the floor was drying, touch-up any necessary areas, and apply the polyurethane clear coat. Things went smoothly and they were done early afternoon. It has been a few weeks and the garage remains flawless. A couple drops of oil from the car were easily wiped up. The chips make the floor anti-slip when wet. In fact, the floor seems more anti-slip now than the raw concrete. We're very glad we had the epoxy treament and went with Jane and Garage Monkeyz.

They were fabulous. It is owned by a young lady name Jane Taylor. She does as much work as the guys. There is not one single thing that isn't perfect. My garage floor is so beautiful, I don't want to park my car in there. There were very pleasant and neat. My next neighbor is also having them do their floor in their garage.

Jane Taylor (owner of Garage Monkeyz) is punctual, professional, and knowledgeable, and very friendly as well. The work was done on time and matched the estimate. The quality of work is excellent, for both the garage floor epoxy and the overhead storage racks (two 4ft x 8ft SafeRacks installed) and inverted storage shelving (8ft of wall mounted Monkey Bars). I would definitely utilize Garage Monkeyz again in the future and also recommend to my friends.

Everything went great. Jane was easy to work with and worked hard to give us a high quality flooring system at a competitive price. We are very, very pleased with the result. Aside from the fresh, clean appearance the new flooring has added real value to our home. We would definitely use Jane / GM again.

They came out, took care of it and did a great job. We thought their price was very reasonable. They came out promptly and did the work in short order. My husband was home the day they came out and everything was fine; they did a great job.

Our new garage floor will be the envy of the neighborhood. Garage Monkeyz did a magnificent job installing the epoxy flooring. Jane, the owner, is very hands-on and oversees the work from start to finish. She arrived about 10 minutes early for our first meeting. She had previously encouraged us to look on their website to view sample flooring choices. My wife and I picked one out from there that we thought would work well. Jane brought many additional samples with her, much larger samples than what is on-line. We realized when looking at a large sample that the color we thought would work did not match so well. We found another color pattern we liked. Jane then showed us that same color combination but with larger chips. We both liked that and went with it. Now that we see the finished product, we are really glad we made that selection. Small chips were used up the sides to where the sheetrock starts, on the vertical part of the step up to the house, and on the vertical part of the lip where the floor meets the driveway. Having those borders in a different size from the large chips used on the floor is necessary as large chips cannot adhere well to a vertical surface. It also is valuable as a safety factor as it is more obvious where there is a step. But, aside from those practical reasons, the contrasting borders simply look great. It sets off the large chips on the floor and makes the whole floor look richer. It was a two day process, then a little time the next morning to remove excess material, plus needing a day to set afterwards before moving any vehicle onto it. Our price reflects the 5% discount offered to Angie's List members. One big reason we chose Garage Monkeyz was the work they do in properly preparing the concrete floor before installing the epoxy. It adds a little to the cost compared to some other companies I had viewed on-line. But with a garage floor being used for heavy vehicles (which will leak fluids at times) and the variety of rough and grimy projects done there, I think it a mistake to save a few dollars by cutting corners on prep work. It will look the same initially, but not over time. Jane and crew member Pat were great to work with. We would definitely recommend them to others.

I contacted Jane for an estimate for flooring for my garage. I loved the way she came prepared with a box full of samples so that I could really see and feel the different choices. The date of install she and her assistant were on time and worked very hard. It is quite an undertaking. Much more than I realized! They worked diligently for two days, and to my delight at the end of the second day we could drive on our new floor and park our cars in our garage! Other flooring places had said a full 5 days for install and drying! Thank you so much Jane! We are so glad we chose Garage Monkeyz.
