Fox Service Company

Fox's service guy did an excellent job: explanation, customer service, performance, timeliness. My only complaint was that was it was expensive. An approximate $60 trip fee plus the bill to dig up and replace a water pipe piece in our yard.

I was pleased with the job. Fox arrived when they said they would and called when they were on their way. Service was quick but thorough.

It was awesome. The tech came out, on time, and took his time explaining proper routine care of the unit (something I probably should have already known, but still...) When I expressed that I didn't know how, he showed me step by step how to take the whole thing apart, clean it, and put it back together. After he left, I pulled my other two units, and, just like he said, had little trouble taking care of it myself (not to mention REALLY impressing my sons!) Business-wise, it may not be the best idea to teach your customers to do your job - that's money they won't get for future routine maintenance - but they really stand out in my mind as one of the best companies I've ever dealt with, honest, personable, polite, and able to see that good will goes a long way.

I am definitely happy with the new services we have. Everything seems to be fine. I have no problems with anything. At the time, everything seemed to go rather smoothly. I do not remember a price, but, it was fair I guess. I have nothing bad to say about Fox at all. I am pleased and can not imagine anything going wrong with the service. The electrical service has done good all this time, I am confident it will continue that way.

We had to get this work done, and we know people that used this company before. They have always done good work in the past. We were happy that it did not cost us an arm and a leg for the job. The guy who did the work was very friendly and happy. He had the job done in about 2 hours. We have had no problems since he fixed it. We were very pleased that their company did a follow up call about a week later to make sure everything was okay.

I called the company and within two hours the workmen arrived and fixed the problem. Unusually fast service and qualified technicians.

They did have to come back out a couple of times. They never charged us a single cent for all the extra trips. We even had them out a little after the one year warranty was up and they still did not charge us. They really go the extra mile to take care of their customers. Every time they had to come out it was for something minor. They were very professional. We would highly recommend them to any one else.

The plumbers were great, however they forgot to determine whether the hot water heaters would fit up the attic stairs. They had to drop the stairs, but were not able to put them back, nor were they able to hook us up with anyone who could. The plumbers were great and did a terrific job except for the stairs.

Where do I start? They came out because a unit was not cooling well. Then they "found" all of these things they claimed were not working, needed cleaning, were missing, or needed repairing. The kicker in this experience was when asked to evaluate a perfectly working second unit, the technician said it needed cleaning, a tune up, a contractor replaced, Freon added, a safety switch, and a filter, estimating it to cost $525. Remember the second unit is working fine. We called Strand to evaluate the second unit, and they said it only needed some refrigerant and a system balance, which cost $154. Fox is really proud of their work, and seemed to be good at creating more for themselves at the high expense of their customers.

They did very well! Our lights suddenly went out in the laundry room and our master bathroom. Our washing machine was also a no go. I called Fox, and they were dispatched within 2hrs.(awesome) They worked very diligently to locate the problem. After a couple of hours, they noted we would need a new circuit. They scheduled the appt and returned as scheduled. The circuit only worked for a few hours. However, I called Fox, and the work was warrantied for a year. They came back immediately & fixed the problem. The only thing that kind of stunk was that I had to pay a work fee and diagnosis fee for the first day. I thought I would only pay a diagnosis fee of $58, not $58 & $70 for labor.

(Job 1) RPF was service technician. He was on time and very professional. He got right to work and answered all our questions. System performs much better and we are pleased with Fox. (Job 2) They did a great job and were very professional and always were here on time and finished the job completely.

The company called to let me know the plumber might be up to 10 minutes late, because of traffic problem on I-35. He actually arrived on time. He did the work and figured out a complicated plumbing problem, concerning a leak from a shower.

It was great they were here on time and let us know that the problem was not major, unlike the insurance adjuster who obviously never went up in the attic. We had been told it was a pipe leak. (There aren't any pipes in the ceiling). Will definitely be using them again for other projects in the future.

Available on short notice, on-time, explained everything clearly and did a good job.

The outdoor water faucet handle was stripped and stuck on full blast. Fox Service arrived within minutes of our call, so it was well worth the cost. While the service tech was here, we had him look at a slow shower head which he also fixed. Everything was taken care of quickly and professionally. I also like the fact that Fox is not a national chain, but a local, Austin home-grown business- and it shows.

A plumber arrived very promptly after the AC tech advised the need to clean the drain shared by the AC unit and one of the sinks in the master bath. There was no service charge for using the same service company on the same day.

Technician suggested using plumber from Fox Service Company to avoid a service fee if serviced on the same day.

This guy was on time and he finished his inspection of the system very quickly. He swept up around the system before he left. I have used this company in the past and they did a good job then too.

These guys were extremely rude and everything was wrong them, so we decided to hire someone else to do the job. The only thing we paid them for was the service fee for showing up. No one should call these guys because their attitude stinks.

They did a very professional service with the installation and we have not had any problems with leaks. We have used their service many of times and we are always satisfied with them. The price is very reasonable for their services also. The plumbers are very experienced and personable.

This company was here very fast after I called them. My toilet was leaking from the base. I have used this company in the past and I am very happy with their service. They are like a handyman company. The service is always performed without wasting any time. All the people that come out here are very nice and professional.

They came out shortly after we called them and the guy was courteous to me. They explained what they were doing and we didn t have to clean up after they were done. We have used their services before and they had very good service.

They came here at my convenience and checked the air conditioning. They were professional and took the time to tell me about their finding. They changed some filters. I am always pleased with their service. The price is affordable. I would recommend their services to others. My air conditioner is working great.
