Fox Service Company

The entire job they did for me was horrible and I will never use them again. They didn't do it properly the first time and they came back to fix the leak the second time. It still was not fixed, so we had to hire someone else. Also, the ceiling that they did was done sloppily. They didn't even glue the pipe and we are not happy with any of the work they did. It was terrible and after two times they weren't able to get it right.

We have used them for years now for everything from pool, electric, to heating and A/C. Some say they are a little expensive, but I say it is money well spent! They stand behind the work and will come out anytime.

They were very efficient and did the job in just one day. The price was right and the unit works great. I haven't had any problems with it since the installation was done. I would recommend them to others.

Fox Service Company can be relied upon to do excellent quality work that is definitely done to last. The workers are pleasant and professional in their demeanor and their work. Everything went very well and works perfectly. They are a bit more expensive than some, but personally I would prefer a little extra up front than to have problems down the road.

They are defiantly pricy, but very thorough, friendly and helpful. He came when we told him to and did everything that we needed done. He was able to do it all with no problems. He knew what to do and how to do it. He didn t make any mistakes and it all turned out fine. Everything works now and we are pleased with that. I think all plumbers are high in price so I don't really have any complaints.

Fox Heating is a pretty popular company in our area. I really have no complaints at all. They are in and out really quickly and the workers have always been knowledgeable and very thorough. It is good to know that a company will be there when they say they will.

I hired him to fix my toilet and when he showed up to work on it he didn't have any parts. He then told me he needed to go buy the right one and decided to go shopping on my dime. He ended up charging me for the time he was out getting the parts he needed to do the job. I do not recommend him.

I have used Fox for a while now and they have always been very professional. They are not the cheapest in town but the quality of their work is worth paying for. People should definitely consider using them.

They do very good work and the service person they send out is always friendly. They seem be well trained in their trade and they do their work in a timely fashion. The work is top quality and very reliable. I would highly recommend them to other people.

They know me and always come out and take care of my needs. They have been out to my house a million times. Even though they have made a couple mistakes along the way, I am pleased with their service. I would recommend them to others.

The technicians (one electrician and one plumber) arrived on schedule, explained our options. Each had to leave again for parts, but both returned the same day and finished the jobs. They were very courteous and seemed knowledgeable about meeting our needs.

Although the serviceman said he would call us about the correct price of installing a control board, we had to call him. (Throughout the whole experience, the serviceman had an attitude problem...a lazy, "whatever" attitude.) He then said the cost would be $478...rather than $600-800. We decided to call another company for a 2nd opinion...which turned out to be valuable because the repair was only $200 because that company honored the parts warranty of our unit.

The plumber was very careful with all aspects of the work and checked thoroughly to insure there were no leaks with the new equipment.

The job only took one day and these guys got it right the first time. I thought it would take at least two days and these guys did it all in one day. The two guys from FOX were on time, on task and professional.

Call center was helpful and responsive; took down my information and sent a guy out the same day - Reyes Sanchez. Provided a survey of what I needed done, careful to explain everything to me the whole time. I accepted their bid, called the company back two days later, and set up the appointment. The electrician told me that it would likely be an all day job, so he would schedule it as such. I was told he would be there the day of between 8 and 12 P.M. They called around 9:30 and said he was on his way - didn't show up until 10:30, though. He did the work and asked me questions when appropriate. He ended up finishing around 2 P.M.

I have been very pleased with services from Fox. I feel their hourly charge is reasonable. We actually live 20 miles outside the Austin area, so it can be difficult for us to get somebody out to our house. Fox does charge us a $65 fee for travel, but their hourly charge for the work was $77.

Very timely and did a great job. The above price was per hour charge. No further leaks. I would recommend to others.

They were very accommodating. They were clean and efficient. I would use them again. They also work with custom jobs. They give good advice, and are very knowledgeable.

Jonathon came out and gave me a free estimate. He was friendly and prompt. He tried to patch the leak, but the patch did not work. As I suspected the entire pipe needed to be replaced because it was corroded. I asked Jonathon to come back after I dug to expose the pipe (plumbers are very expensive ditch diggers) and he gave me another estimate. I had him come out the next day and he completed the job.

They were thorough and professional.

I called Fox after having another plumber diagnose a fatal problem in the drain line to a washroom in my new house. The line needed to be replaced and I got bids from several plumbers for this large job. Fox s bid to replace the line came in on the low end and they could start on it right away. They also suggested a video drain line inspection when I reported some issues I was having with other drains in the house, which gave me good insight of a potential problem that may have to be addressed in the future. They also reseated a leaky toilet while doing this work. They worked for two days to replace the drain line, hand digging since there were several trees and other obstacles in the lawn. The work was completed well and the technician communicated well about what he saw and how the work was being performed. They cleaned up nicely after digging and the drain works great. I would certainly call them again.

I called Fox Service and explained that I needed someone to crawl under the house to check for leaks. Harry checked the water pressure and reported it showing a small leak. He crawled under the house and said he didn't see any leaks, but did say the ground was extremely damp which he thought was due to the recent rains. Harry asked where the water heater was. He then discovered leaking around both flexible hoses. After removing these hoses, he said the nipples also needed to be replaced. I was charged $58.00 service charge for Fox to come to my house. The charge for the leak diagnostic was $98.00, and the charge for replacing the hot water heater hoses and nipples was $158.00. (I later looked up the parts costs and found that flexible hoses sell for around $12.00 each and nipples for $4.00 each). The price was very excessive for the work performed and time (plumber was there less than an hour). My credit card was charged $320.00 two times for this one service call.

There is no more leaking and no more damage to the wood outside. They got in and got the work done. He did everything that I asked and was very reliable. I would use them again!

The job was a nightmare, but Matt Martinez was a trooper throughout the whole ordeal. We had new countertops installed and the counter guys drilled the holes and installed the new stainless steel sink. The holes were right up against the back of the cabinets and while the hot and cold water stops fit in the holes, there was not enough room to put the nuts on them to hold them tight because of the cabinet wood. He left, came back with a saw and cut the wood out to give himself access. There was little room to work but he never complained. He just worked. Occasionally, he needed a hand to hold something while he tightened it, but mostly he just did what he needed to do. He was respectful, polite, friendly, good natured and clean. He put mats down for his tools; he wore little booties in the house so his shoes wouldn't get anything dirty and he cleaned up after himself before he left. This may be the best customer service experience I have ever had (and I'm 50)!!

It went well. They were on time, charged a $58 service call to inspect and test the A/C unit, and told me that there was nothing wrong. A less ethical company could have easily come up with something to pressure me to do for the money.
