We use Foundation Auto Repair for any repairs that need to be done. They diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and effectively. The workers were professional and willing to explain what they did.

A few months ago, I went in to America's Service Station (now Driver's Edge) for clutch work (very expensive outcome) and the repair did not take. My clutch smelled like it was burning. When I went to take my truck back in they were gone! SO..... I went to Foundation Auto Repair (awesome people/mechanics) and they FIXED everything that America's Service Station did wrong to my clutch. Foundation Auto Repair informed me that "There was no indication that the trans had ever been removed." and "Master and Slave cylinders had been replaced but were full of contaminated fluid causing corrosion inside components. Slave would not fully compress and master and line were full of black fluid."!!! I understand America's Service Station goes by a new name of Driver's Edge at the same location in Round Rock. BEWARE!!!! Bottom line: Foundation Auto Repair has earned my trust and will be our main auto repair source for both our vehicles from now on and I will tell all my friends and family about them. Very happy with them!

We had a great automotive service. They're excellent. We go there every six months. I've been taking my vehicle there for five years. They're friendly. We knew them. They always look out for our cars. We trust them.

I definitely recommend this place to others. When I called in to inquire about the parts and labor cost for my repair, Jeff was very responsive and helpful. He had to call me back with the quote once he located the part -- which took less than 15 mins. Shorty after, I came in and was able to get the repair done while I waited. Since I am not local to the area, I had to wait, and found the lounge to be very nice. More importantly, Jeff was very considerate of my situation and was able to help me resolve my repairs promptly. I'm very much thankful for his and his crew's efforts to get my car fixed.

They looked at all of these things and fixed what needed to be fixed. The brakes were okay and they were honest enough to tell us so and they weren't fixed. All the work they did was done promptly and they kept us up to date on what our car needed before extra work was done. They did excellent work. My Dad is a mechanic but since he lives in Vermont he can no longer take care of our cars. It's such a blessing to find a mechanic who is honest and reliable here in Austin. We highly recommend Foundation Auto Repair to you!

2 different visits within about 6 weeks. They are always able to fix my car when I need them to. My first visit the parts didn't come in on time for my car to be repaired as they promised- before the weekend, so instead of me being without a car, they paid for a rental car- which was unexpected and appreciated. This is a Christian based company, which I also appreciate. They are always respectful & nice. Even had a dog mascot there one day which made it even better. Thank you Foundation for always being so professional, courteous, friendly and having Christian values.

The price seemed reasonable and they were fast.

I received excellent service at Foundation Auto Repair. They quickly diagnosed my problem and called to let me know what was wrong and how much it would cost. It took 4 days to get parts, conduct the repairs, and test drive the vehicle (I had multiple issues) but they communicated with me every step of the way. There were no add-ons or up-charges. What they quoted on day one is what I paid when I picked up the car. But wait, there's more. I discovered a 10% coupon on Angie's List that could be used toward my repairs. If they honored it, and they did, it would save me $150. Problem was, I forgot the coupon at home when I picked up the truck. I asked the technician if they still honored the 10% coupon found on Angie's List. He said they did. Then I asked if he'd believe that I was an Angie's List member because I had forgotten the coupon at home. Without hesitation he took me at my word and gave me the discount. So not only were they honest, but they believed in my honesty as well. That goes a long way with me. Prior to finding this service provider on Angie's List, I've been taking my truck to the dealership. No more. I will definitely use Foundation Auto Repair for all my future repair needs.

Outstanding mechanic. I have priced them versus other places (I'm looking at you, Lamb's) and whereas places like Lambs will recommend lots of costly service and repairs, the guys at Foundation will tell you what you actually need, why certain work does or does not need to be done (and when), and they provide a fair price. They're also quite responsive to any questions or concerns and processed a refund in no time and without argument. I've used them in the past and will continue to do so going forward.

As usual, the oil changes and state inspections are performed quickly and expertly. Previous larger repairs are always within the quoted amount and performed in the estimated time frame. These guys are totally honest, professional, and experts in automotive repair. As I've taken four of my cars to Foundation over the years, sometimes more problems are discovered upon starting a repair. They're quick to call, explain the situation, and offer a solution. Parts are delivered and installed immediately, often within the same time frame as the original estimate. I trust them explicitly with my vehicles. I work out of my vehicles and cannot afford to have them down for any length of time. I can call Foundation and expect to have repairs done quickly, getting me back on the road and back to business. I recommend Dan and his team to everyone I know. Super people, super business.

Quality of work was good. Work took forever, and they didn't offer a loaner car. Price seemed a little high in retrospect.

It went great. They found the problem and now our van drives like new, even though it is 14 years old. We also took our Camry there and had extensive work done as well. I appreciate the fact they explain what they believe the problem is and why.

Our car was making a funny noise and we were pretty sure it was steering related. We took it in very last minute because they said they could take a look before the weekend - and they did! Diagnosed the problem, gave us a temporary fix, gave us our car back for the weekend, and ordered the part we needed. Once the part came in, we took it back in to fix it for good. Noise is gone. Car is happy. Price seemed reasonable (we checked the price of the part they gave us vs. the prices we found online and they were very similar). We'll use them again in the future.

We have been using them for years for our cars. They do good work, are honest, and don’t make you spend money you don’t need to spend.

They were very courteous. They explained things well and did the work quickly. The car is running great now.

They gave me an estimate on every work which was required. They did a real good job and also picked me up and brought me back, which was extremely nice and courteous of them. The one reason I had chosen them was, their location across the highway close to me. They had just been great and also gave me a discount.

Dan and the folks at Foundation have serviced 3 of our cars for years ... older (2001-06 Toyotas, Lexus and Nissan). We have always been happy with the professional work, pricing, honesty and reliability of the team there. We consistently recommend them to our friends and have not been let down. Highly recommended.
