Once we explained the situation to Patricia at Flow-Go -- and the fact that the sale of our home hung in the balance -- plumbing father-and-son team John Copeland Junior and Senior came to the rescue. They dropped everything to fix what turned out to be a faulty installation by the previous plumber. They worked with home warranty folks so we would not get billed for any work, and they even spoke with the prospective buyers to assure them that the problem was completely resolved. In our opinion, they went above and beyond our expectations.
Description of Work: Exactly one year ago, we had our old water heater replaced through our home warranty program. When we were in the process of selling our home recently, the inspection report came back stating that we needed to REPLACE the water heater! Needless to say we were shocked, but on checking the water heater (it's enclosed in a closet) we found the top of the tank had developed a slow leak due to a nut not being properly tightened, and rust had formed down the side and bottom of the tank. After sending photos to our home warranty company, they paid to have new plumbers come out and evaluate the problem, so we called Flow-Go.

They sent a plumber, who showed up nearly an hour and a half late and basically said, "yeah, that's a strange problem - don't know what to tell ya". $60 service call fee for someone to confirm that I have a problem and do absolutely nothing to address it. He didn't try to troubleshoot anything. Just stood there, scratched his head, and left. UPDATE1: The main office called back to discuss the issue further. Apparently after some discussions on their side, they felt I needed a new recirculation pump and that could potentially fix the issue. I'll let them replace the pump to see how it goes and if it corrects the problem. We'll see whether they can redeem themselves. If they do, I'll change the rating. UPDATE2: Well, I was all ready for them to do the work. If all went well, I was going to revise to a more positive rating based on their success. We made an appointment and I waited. And waited... Two hours - no show - no call - nothing. I've been trying to get in touch with them for days now. They do not answer the phone and will not call back. Eventually I had to backtrack and call the Warranty Company. They told me FlowGo cancelled the work and dropped my claim. The warranty company will now need to start the claim all over with another plumber. SUMMARY: Unbelievably unprofessional company. They leave appointments hanging. They do not answer phones. They will not call back. Not sure if it's retaliation for my first review or what. Throughout all this, I've never been insulting or offensive to them in any way. I've remained calm and patient, but they haven't even given me the courtesy of a call-back.
Description of Work: Sent by Home Warranty of America to troubleshoot and repair an issue with cold water mixing into the hot at some faucets some of the time. Was baffled by the issue. Did not provide any immediate help, information, or recommendations. Did not attempt to troubleshoot.

I had a really positive experience with Flow Go, well beyond their installation of the water heater. I encountered a problem with the installation of a water heater expansion tank, which is required by my city code, but was not covered by the home warranty company. Aaron Burleson, the owner of Flow Go, called me personally and worked to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. Many companies can deliver satisfactory service, but in my opinion, only a handful of companies can successfully manage problem situations. I've called Flow Go on a more recent occasion, and they were very responsive and professional. I won't hesitate to use them again in the future, although I hope I don't need a plumber again anytime soon!
Description of Work: My hot water heater broke and Flow Go was assigned by my home warranty company. They came out the same day and installed a new water heater.
