Very badly. We hit a curb and the steering wheel was shaking. They replaced struts, balanced and rotated tires and said it was fixed. It wasn't. The steering wheel still shook. We took it back. They said it seemed fine to them, but they would rebalance the tires anyway. The steering wheel still shook. Finally we took it to Howdy Honda where they discovered a damaged tire. They replaced a tire and rim, and rebalanced tires. That fixed the problem. We just wish we'd read Angies List before we took it to Firestone in the first place. Learn from us.

Their hours are good, and that is convenient. Their prices are fairly reasonable. I don't know if they are the best, but they are not excessively high. I feel pretty trustworthy of them, I don't sense any kind of shadiness.
Description of Work: They perform maintenance on my vehicle.

I went in for a routine oil change and "courtesy check." On my way home, I noticed that the paperwork said my battery was bad and that I had "declined" the recommended brake fluid flush (which I had had done just a couple of months previously). They hadn't mentioned either of these to me while they were working on the car or when I picked it up. The technician had also, bizarrely, marked "yes" on the boxes for Hubcap Missing and Windshield Cracked, neither of which is true. While checking my hubcaps, though, I did notice that my stem caps were missing on both right tires (can't swear they weren't missing before, but I think I would have noticed). I was sort of ticked off at having to go back again for more work when I could have gotten everything done at the same time, so I went to Brake Specialists instead. They agreed the battery was bad, but pointed out to me that it was still new enough to be under warranty (something Firestone, who had installed it, hadn't bothered to check, although it's my bad as well that I hadn't gone back through my paperwork). They also said the brakes didn't need servicing, but fixed (for free) a loose clamp on my overflow tank that was seeping coolant, and pointed out that my radiator hoses were getting brittle and should be replaced the next time my radiator is serviced. The Firestone tech had not noticed either of these issues. When I went back to Firestone to get my battery replaced (which they did do under warranty), I mentioned to the guy at the desk that they had forgotten to put the stem caps back on my tires the previous time, and he cheerfully wrote that down. However, when I got home I noticed that they had still not replaced them. My new paperwork again said that I had declined to have recommended work done, but this time it was an alignment, which again no one had mentioned to me. It's hard to believe my alignment had gone out of whack in the eleven days since my previous work, and my odometer hadn't rolled over any magic numbers that would trigger scheduled maintenance (and what happened to that recommended brake work?). As near as I can tell, the computer just randomly generates these "recommendations." Altogether, nothing tragic happened, but there seems to be a disconnect between what's actually going on with my car and what goes down on their paperwork, and an overall sloppiness and laziness.
