From the moment we contacted Faught Service company, after reading their reviews on Angie's list, it was courteous and professional service. We contacted Faught Service after our heater went out on a Friday night.We called Saturday morning and talked to Bonnie and she was courteous and sincerely nice. She said they had a tech in the area and that she would contact him and see when he could be out. Mark was at our house about an hour later after Bonnie had contacted us and told us he was on his way. Mark arrived at our house and kept us informed of everything that he was doing.We were very pleased with the service from the beginning until it was finished.

Good reliable repairmen who diagnose the problem and charge a reasonable rate. I will use again and have no hesitancy in recommending them.

Home AC went out late this afternoon. Placed a call into Vaught Service and Robin couldn't have been more interested in restoring our service. We have been Vaught customers for 5+ years. They are extremely responsive, professional technicians, will not over analyze/overcharge and you can depend upon them. John was our tech and he was a total pro, good customer service skills. Highly recommend them.

From start to finish, the experience with Faught was incredible. We recently moved into a 20+ year old house with original HVAC equipment, and wanted to take advantage of the city rebate programs to completely weatherize our home and replace both HVAC systems. We researched equipment, and knew the systems we wanted - which were high end Lennox Signature systems (3 ton XC21 upstairs, and 2.5 ton XC17 downstairs). We also knew from our home energy insepction that we needed our ductwork sealed, and insulation added to our attic. We requested bids from six companies on the Austin Energy approved list, including three of the four local Lennox premier dealers. Many of the other dealers tried to sell us lower end systems so they could present a more reasonable price (although still high) - and those that would actually recommend the XC21 or XC17 were WAY over Faught's prices ($4000 - $5000 more). When I called Faught, I received a call back from Dan the same day. Dan immediatey impressed me because he 1) recommended the systems I wanted once I described our situation, and 2) qutoed me a price, over the phone, that was very reasonable. When he came to the house, and looked in our attic and at our ductwork, he gave me a fair and honest assesment of what we needed done. The prices he gave me for all services were incredible compared to competitors. Between Lennox and City of Austin rebates, we'll be receiving about $5400 of the $18,000 we paid back in rebates. The work was completed over three days - one day each for installation of the each HVAC system, then the third day for insulation and other weatherization. The crew of three that were here were professional, friendly, and clean. Each evening the house was clean and they made sure that we were satisfied with everything that they did.

They provided excellent service at a good price. I would use them in the future.

The owner came to our home and talked to us about all of our replacement options. Later that same day, workers came to measure. They sent us a bid a week a later. After that, we communicated back and forth to clarify what I wanted. Then we were ready to sign the contract. A few days later, they came to install the system and completed the work within five hours.

A/C was blowing hot air; we feared the compressor was shot. Mike arrived, found that the drainage pan was full and the drain line clogged. He cleaned the line and restored cooling. The time from our call to the end of service was less than two hours.

Services were provided at my mother's home; she was thrilled and impressed throughout the process. Pricing: Peace of mind, confidence and professionalism was worth every penny. Received 2 other bids that were about $1300 less but I am sure that she would not have received the quality nor the quanity of work that Faught promised and delivered! NOTE: Pricing did not include price of mechanical equipment. Accessment and Estimate: Very thorough accessment by Don Faught and discussion of each suggested item and prices. Follow-up questions quickly answered; again, complete yet in layman terms. Quality: Beautiful craftsmanship of required sheet metal work. Best R value and silence of ductwork. Everything properly sealed. Neat throughout the job. NO banged walls, woodwork, ceiling, or damage to the yard. Job took 3 days. No day laborers. At the very least, only 1 apprentice on site, the other 2 or 3 were even more experienced and licensed. Mr. Faught was on the job frequently to review work throughout each stage. Brought in a licensed, outside electrician to replace aluminum wiring and add a braker. Every man on the job was professional, knowledgeable, skilled and courteous. Will recommend Don Faught and his company to any and every one. P.S. Mr. Faught even completed and submitted the City of Austin rebate application!

I compared bids with 2 other contractors. Faught was priced almost exactly the same as the other Lennox bid, but higher than Carrier. I decided to go with Lennox because I already have one other Lennox system in my house. I also felt I could trust the owner/salesman, Don Faught, more than the other 2. It was clear that he keeps tight reigns on the company and that he has a vested interest in delivering a quality product with quality service. They arrived on time and all went as expected with no problems.

Faught had previously installed our upper-floor heating and ac system. We were very happy with them. So there was no surprises with this job. The crew that did the work was quick, courteous and professional. Don Faught himself came in and inspected the work, reviewed the final paperwork and discussed the warranty options and terms.

I really liked everyone in this company. Salesman Rick was great to work with. When he came to the house to give estimate, he didn't try to rush off for other appts as other have done. When he was writing up the estimate I asked about the senior discount on Angies List, he said he didn't know it was there but honored it and gave me a sr discount, He also went over alot of the specifics regarding installing ac and all that would be done. Crew showed up on time, estimated time was 5-6 hours, they finished in 5. They answered all questions everytime I went outside and were great about explaining the process and never got upset at all the questions I had. After they finished, I went out to the garage and was amazed at how they had cleaned up, it was almost as they had never been there, even outside where part of the unit was installed was all cleaned up. They were great. What I loved the most was all the rebates and discounts given and saved $800. I have had workmen in my house trying upgrade different areas in the last several years and after some of the experiences, I think Faught Service Co, especially Rick and his crew are amazing. Thanks guys, you did a great job.

They come right away. They do a really good job. The cost is fair. They come when you call them.

We went with them because they had been in the area for some time so we felt that they had a greater dedication to the success of the system installation and its maintenance. The repair guy looked at the system when we had a problem with it and suggested that we replace the system instead of repairing it because we were bleeding money in terms of energy efficiency. They came out with an estimate and also some possibilities in terms of having more air ducts. Their price was higher than other folks that we talked to but I think it was their reputation that made up for paying the additional amount. We have signed a three year service contract with them.

We had some initial questions early on about the humidity in the house when they installed the air conditioner, but they sent out a tech from the furnace manufacturer and we worked on that together to solve the problem. They've always been responsive when something unusual comes up, they'll come and check it out.

They were really nice and really courteous, the guy tried to talk me through a couple possibilities over the phone to try and save me the cost of a service call, they were very helpful.

They came very promptly, and did the work quickly. They checked previous bills to be sure the equipment was still covered by warranty.

After smelling gas I called them and they responded immediately. They were able to detect the problem quite quickly and I was very grateful for that. I like the fact they will come out during emergency purposes and they are willing to travel outside of their location.

Originally, I was leaning towards one of the other 6 proposals I'd received. But, after a post-bid follow-up phone call, it was obvious that Faught was willing to work to match or beat a reasonably competitive offer and they quickly became the top bid. The "sales rep" made a good impression. He was persistent, but not pushy. He was very good at explaining the bid, the rebates and incentive programs as well as addressing my concerns regarding the proposed hardware and warranty coverage then re-writing the bid to meet my needs. The technicians who performed the install were professional amiable and very experienced.

We had been without air conditioning for about three weeks. What a relief when these guys came out to install the new unit. This company was on the city of Austin's list of green companies. The price was right especially after the huge rebate and they even fully weatherized my home. That means they sealed all the ventilation ducts around all the doors and windows.

Our A/C went out and I called Faught in the morning. They said someone could come out by noon. They were a few hours late. Then the person came out and looked at the outside unit and started to take it apart and it started working again. He said that we needed a new unit, but gave no reason why. My husband looked askance at the guy and he said that it might be getting too hot (but he had no idea) and that he could rebuild the motor for $500. We said no. He gave us a bill for $160 for --- nothing. He had no idea what was wrong. We felt that we were totally fleeced by a siding salesman. We only used this company because we couldn't get ahold of our regular company that services units in our rental units. Subsequently, our regular guy came out, replaced an $80 part and a $25 dollar part, checked everything over, and then had our unit running like a champ. Total bill : $160.

Well, except the service representative was 55 minutes late. Had call earlier from the company alerting me. Had appointment one week earlier which I had to cancel due to non arrival on time. Service rep was courteous, and appeared quite competent.

I thought Mr. Faught was fair and honest. He had some good suggestions for ways to improve our system. He wasn't able to put all of those suggestions into the place due to some other complications, but we have been pleased with the system. At one point, I thought the unit was making an unusual noise and he sent a service man immediately. The noise turned out to be "normal."

When I find a good company like Faught, I stay with them. I ve been with them for around eight years now. They come right away when I call. Their staff is knowledgeable and skilled. They are clean cut, and I ve had no problems since he fixed the unit.
