Project went extremely well and on schedule. CJ at the store on Burnett was a pleasure to work with. She provide advice and guidance on design. products and style. The installation crew were pleasant, professional and great to work with as well.

Their prices were competitive. Delivery was not particularly smooth. One of their installers was good the other not great. Our biggest complaint is that we paid for an installation that did not happen and have been trying for over a month to get our refund. Response from the salesperson, Sacha, has been very slow and sometimes not responsive at all until multiple contacts have been made. For a month now we have been told "It is taken care of already" or "the check is in the mail". This is unprofessional on their part and tiring for us.

I wound up not buying from them because I found it much less expensive item online.

We went to FBS to buy kitchen cabinets, but what we actually got from them was so much more. We were put in touch with FBS through a contractor that put a bid in on our kitchen remodel. We had priced out both Ikea cabinetry and custom cabinetry and we were looking for a third option. We ended up hiring a different contractor, but we stuck with Factory Builder Stores for the cabinets. They sent CJ, a certified kitchen designer (who knew?) out to the house. In a matter of a few minutes, CJ had pinpointed several problems with our planned design for the kitchen and given us much better solutions. In retrospect, they seem so obvious now, but neither us nor any of the contractors that looked at the space came up with anything nearly as good as CJ's proposed design. After that, we took a trip to the showroom, and looked at a range of cabinets from MidContinent. CJ was super efficient at showing us the options, and was then amazingly patient while we hammered out what we thought we were looking for. She's incredibly knowledgable about the product, and had a lot of great advice. The number of options for the cabinet sizes, layout, function, color, and cabinet & drawer fronts from MidContinent was way better than anything else we had really looked at. After we made our selections, CJ went to work putting the kitchen together for us. A couple of weeks later we were back in the showroom, to see the plans. There we got to see a beautiful set of 3d renderings of our space that really allowed us to get a feel for what the space was going to be. This was amazingly helpful, as we were removing several walls and putting a pretty large Island in, and I was having a hard time visualizing if it was going to feel too cramped. There was no real talk up to this point about our budget, and as I expected, the original bid came in way over our budget and when i saw the number, I was honestly expecting to get essentially blown off. But it was just the opposite. We told CJ what our max budget was, and she went to work on the spot helping us find where to make concessions to get the price into our budget. In a matter of just a few minutes, we had a plan that was inside our budget without sacrificing any of the things we felt like we had to have, which included glass fronts, soft close everything, pull out shelves and drawers in all of our base cabinets, and a giant island built on casters. Our entire remodel looks so much better because of FBS and CJ. We are delighted with the cabinets themselves. They are beautiful and extremely functional. The MidContinent stuff is far superior to what we had looked at from Ikea for not a considerable amount more money, and the bid was well below the custom bid we got. But the kitchen design services were so much more than we expected to get. We walked out with a set of detailed plans, which we were then able to hand to our contractor that basically laid out the entire plan. And the service was included with the cabinets. We couldn't be happier with our experience, or with the end result.

Helped us pick out models in the showroom. Price was $1400 under a quote from Home Depot for the exact same models. Delivery was on time as promised. All appliances work. Note: no installation was included, so you must install yourself or hire someone to do the installation. Our interior decorator included the dishwasher and cook top installation with the new granite counter purchase. We hired David Sweet, local handyman, to install the range hood and wall oven. My husband installed the wall microwave.

I bought a floor model gas Viking cooktop in December of 2011 with the mistaken understanding that it was a 2011 model. The Viking service rep (many service companies will not service Viking) I just had out informed me that it is a 2009 model and therefore will never be under warranty even though I filled out the warranty card. This may be due to a misunderstanding with the salesman who does not work there any more. It was an extremely busy day when I bought the cooktop. I had also tried to call that salesman several times after the sale but he was unresponsive. (Again, in FSB's defense, that person does not work there anymore.) When the model was delivered, it was missing a regulator which I did not know about and FSB found out and sent it to me at no cost so they provided great service there. The cooktop also had many more scratches than I remember seeing when I bought it but may be my fault for not examining it more closely. I did get a deal on the floor model but I would advise anyone else to spend the few extra hundred dollars and actually get a new model.

Had to replace my wall ovens. I knew exactly what I wanted. I got the list of suppliers from the Kitchenaid website. I called all of the suppliers to get their prices. Sacha, at Factory Builder Stores, told me that she would work with me and match any price from any competitor. At the time, I was concerned that I might have to store the ovens, for a few months, and she offered to store the ovens at their warehouse, free of charge. This sold me on Factory Builder Stores. Sacha worked with me and matched a competitor's price, and gave me the name of great installers - Pro-Fit Installers. Since my ovens were built in, I had to determine if the new ovens would fit. Pro-fit Installers determined that they would and I had them do the installation. It was a pleasure to work with Sacha and I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again on any future purchases.

We contacted FBS upon referral from our contractor. We purchased a luxury spec home and needed hardware to finish out the kitchen cabinets. Upon contacting the sales associate, she informed me that she was quite busy and didn't have time for an appointment but I was "welcome to check on-line." After reviewing several hundred pieces of hardware on-line, we contacted her to order a sample. We never heard back. A few weeks later we happened to be in the store for appliance shopping and met with the sales associate face-to-face. She acknowledged that she did not respond to our inquiry, and then proceeded to tell us again she was too busy to help us in the store. After we left the store we received an email where she offered to order the sample. At that point we had already ordered on-line. She then wrote us back and told us she needed to "focus on the big jobs" and that she wished us the best. There are so many things wrong with that type of customer service, I don't even know where to begin. Aside from the abysmal service, the selection and quality of product at this store seemed high. Sadly, we will never shop there again based upon the poor service we received.
