Exterior Cleaning Solutions

Again this year, we have sparkling clean windows from US military veteran Ben Ward, formerly JB Window Works, who has combined his business with ECS (Exterior Cleaning Solutions) of Texas. ECS came on time and ready to work at our home in the Dripping Springs area, at the usual and quite reasonable price for doing both interior and exterior windows, including the screens at no additional charge. The work went swiftly but without a drop of water spilled or left to drip anywhere, The results couldn't be bettered. Most highly recommended!

I love using this company. It was founded by 2 young veterans, and I've always had excellent service and results. I highly recommend JB Window Works.

No doubt about it, this is the BEST window cleaning service ever. After price-checking with 2 other companies, Ben at JB Window Works has come out to us in Hays County and cleaned the 50+ windows of our main and guest houses, inside and out, upstairs and down, since 2013. We've used them every 6 months or so since then, with today being our most recent date of service. As always, the result is perfection. So what does Ben do? First of all, he arrives on time, every time, and immediately sets to work. He carries only top quality, professional equipment --- which is pretty important if you don't want any ladder-scuffs nor bumps to mar your woodwork, walls, and flooring! --- while his neat handling of each window, screen, transom, French door, and cabinet glass-panel door is so meticulously done that we've yet to find a single misplaced streak nor spot of water left behind. Just . . . wow! Importantly, too, Ben is the sort of person you feel comfortable about having in your home. His polite manner and well-groomed appearance (military service!) are a nice addition to his attentive concern for his highly detailed work. Without hesitation, I unreservedly recommend JB Window Works, whether for window cleaning, Xmas lighting, power washing, or simply mucking out the gutters. Again I say, this company is the BEST.

I filled out an online form and never heard back. I called to follow up and the man who answered the phone said he never received the form. Then we spoke about services and cost. He was courteous, if a bit awkward. We scheduled gutter cleaning for 8 this morning. Early this morning, I received a text from an unknown number asking, "Can we move our appointment to this afternoon?" As I had three appointments this morning, I replied, "Who is this?" I never heard back, and they didn't show up. At 3:00pm, I called and left a message on the JB Window Works voicemail expressing my displeasure. Then I got on Angie's List to find another company. While I was on the phone with another company, I saw JB Window Works calling me back. No message was left. In sum: Price estimate was good. Ben was nice enough. Customer service was bad.

It was just one person. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. It took less than 2 hours and was well worth it.

He was here right on time. Did a great job. Was efficient and friendly.

This is the second time we have used JB Window Works. That alone says something. I am fussy about the windows and have been very satisfied with the outcome on both occasions. I think Ben is an intelligent, mild-mannered, hard-working professional window cleaner. He takes great pride in his work. We will not look any further for window cleaning.

Were there a 6-, 7-, or even 10-star rating, this company would earn it handily. I'd used JB Window Works when we purchased a property with a large, main house and moved to the Austin/Dripping Springs area over a year ago. That work was speedily done to perfection and still looks pretty darn good. Last week, shortly after completing construction on a new, smaller guesthouse (the subject of this review), I again called co-owner Ben Ward, who promptly agreed to take on this next bit of work. This most recent job was likewise done quickly and flawlessly -- all 16 double-hung windows, 3 dormer windows, a gable window, 2 transom lights, a pair of French doors, and even the interior glass-faced, upper cabinet doors. OMG! Despite the very reasonable price (I compared prices with several other window cleaning companies), JB Window Works showed up for both jobs well-equipped with only the newest and best ladders, etc. More importantly, Ben Ward optimizes the use of his time and equipment, so that not a spot of water falls where it shouldn't, neither does a speck nor a streak mar his finished work. I really couldn't be more pleased! Unsurprisingly, without a single caveat, I most strongly recommend JB Window Works.

For the most part, everything went well. He did a great job for a very fair price. The only issue was that he left one of his buckets at the house and never returned to retrieve it.

Ben thoroughly washed and cleaned all of my windows and screens inside and out for the house and garage. Most of my windows are paned so it is extremely time consuming and the house is on a slope so the second floor windows are very high up. My husband and I are very pleased with the result and would definitely use them again.

I would highly recommend them. They always arrive on time to hang the lights and to take them down, and they do phenomenal work for a competitive price.

It didn't turn out as well as we'd hoped. They did an adequate job with the windows, but they neglected to clean the window screens even though we paid extra for them to do this. Some screens had even been broken during the project.

Everything went well. The gentlemen were very professional and personable, and they did a good job for a fair price.

On time and working diligently the entire time, had all exteriors and windows cleaned either cleaned or power-washed. We had excessive leaves in gutters and they are now leaf free. Power-washing was effective and all outdoor furniture was restored to the patio after the job was done.

Staff was present during each service that they provided so I can speak directly to their dedication to quality service. They were punctual and courteous in all interactions. I will definitely continue to use them for myself and my clients.

Do's: An incredible job done right! An incredible job done timely! An incredible job done to perfection! Don'ts: He neither left a drop of water nor any kind of "mess" anywhere!

He arrived on time and did a marvelous job. The windows were cleaner that I thought possible. Birds were flying into them they were so clear.
