Description of Work: Asked Ernie back this year to bid another job because of such great service with fencing and gate installation a few years ago. A+ all the way - product, performance, price, professionalism!!

Description of Work: They provided a beautiful railing around my back upper patio and on stairway to lower patio. The railing turned out great, seems sturdy. They were very responsive. They cleaned up but after it dried there was a white film from the cement dust. We called and they came right back the next day and cleaned it. The only negative was some small scratches in the patio surface.

+ 0 moreTop-knotch welders; a bit old-school and laconic but worth their weight in gold. They took less time than they'd indicated (which was appreciated), and if anything overdelivered in terms of quality. We got a first-rate job for an extremely reasonable price. Please note: these fellows are not salesmen or glad-handers. They are craftsmen, and careful with their words. Do not expect them to be outgoing, just to provide an excellent-quality product. My and quot;Band quot; for professionalism could well have been an and quot;Aand quot; if they'd had a secretary to talk with customers. But then again, the price might not have been so reasonable if they had to hire an extra employee. This is simply an excellent and quot;old Austinand quot; business.
Description of Work: Constructed, on the basis of a provided design, an interior railing for a home. Also, railing for exterior deck.

+ 0 moreOur project was to install new wrought iron railing on an upper deck, lower deck, and stair railing. We met with Ernie, took a tour of their facilities which are great and later Phil came out and took measurements. We'd been told by our contractor that they were the best around and to expect a wait because of their backlog (guess that is what happens when everyone thinks their tops too). It wasn't a large job but it wasn't a small one either, the design was unique and the price was right. We didn't think that the wait which was approximately 6-8 weeks was unreasonable. When they came out to install, a team of 4 were professional, efficient and cleaned up upon leaving. We are replacing stair railing in the house and we'll definitely be using Ernie's...our contractor is right. They are the best! And if you find yourself in a similar position where they are busy and have a backlog...wait for them...they are so worth the time.
