We got a representative house so they want us to tell you $1 because we got a special deal from them. We agreed to let them put their sign in our yard for like 50 days and stuff like that. They are energy efficient. They are great. They cleaned up everything. They were in and out very quickly. They showed us how to use the windows and everything and it looked beautiful.

I recently purchased an older home that had the original windows. I know that I would need to replace them. When I decided to make the purchase I talked with several window providers and was most impressed with Energy One. There people were very professional and explained everything in detail. The windows were measured the day after signing the contract and were delivered when promised. The installation was completed in one day. One of the reasons for choosing these windows was for there energy saving. I can say that once I get my house to the temperature I want my air conditioner does not come on very often. The design of the windows also makes cleaning them easy. They look great! I would recommend Energy One to anyone looking for windows.

Choosing Energy One to install updated, efficient windows in our home has been the single best home improvement decision my husband and I have made. When we moved into our 1950s bungalow style home a little over 3 years ago, the floor to ceiling windows were a major selling point; we loved the feel of letting the outdoors in. However, once summer hit, we realized the original, single pane windows throughout the house really let the outdoors in - we could not cool our home adequately! Three years later we decided to update all the original windows in our home; after getting quotes from two other window companies (both of which gave significantly higher estimates for lower quality products) we decided to go with Energy One. Scottie, our sales director, was a pleasure to work with because he was straightforward with his presentation and gave us a fair, no pressure quote. I especially appreciated how Scottie gave my husband and I the time and space we needed before making such a big purchase. Looking back, the best part of our Energy One experience was David and his installation crew. Not only did he and his team replaced 11 windows in our home in one day but, the crew actually stayed past dusk to help my husband rehang all our blinds! This company truly goes above and beyond, where customer service is concerned. The only mishap in the whole process was that we somehow only ordered one of our smaller bathroom windows, when we should have ordered two. Even though we missed the error on the order form we signed, Energy One went ahead and ordered and installed the missing window for free without us even requesting them to do so! Seriously, what business does that? Plus the windows are amazing! Our installation was in January and we have already seen about a 10% decrease in our monthly electrical bill. Additionally, we never really thought about all the traffic and noise surrounding our home, but were immediately pleased with how much unwanted sound our new windows blocked. We needed affordable, efficient windows throughout our home, on a budget and Energy One made that dream a reality. The windows are flawless, functional and fit right in with our home. I would recommend Energy One to anyone looking for quality windows installed by a professional team.

We had a great experience with Energy One! The staff is very friendly, helpful and very easy to work with. The quality of the widows are amazing and look gorgeous. We had almost all of our old ones changed and now we can already tell a difference with our electricity bill as well as an acoustic difference! The installation process was fast and efficient and the staff was clean, informative and very nice. Our home now looks fabulous and we would recommend Energy One to anyone!

We have been wanting to replace our first generation windows (aluminum single pane) windows for some time. We decided this was the year to do it! The Bid: Energy One was one of four bidders invited to offer quotes. Darin was the sales representative from Energy One to survey our requirements. He was very knowledgeable about his product and what would meet our requirements as well as the City of Austin code inspection. Their quote although competitive was not the lowest bid, nor was it the highest. We selected Energy One on the basis of the offered window, vinyl triple pane with high energy efficiencies. We think it to have the best value. Order/Scheduling: Because of travel plans we had a relatively tight schedule window for installation. No problem, Energy One was able to accommodate. Detailed measurements were made and the window/door order was placed with the factory before we left, and the widows arrived and installation started within three days of our return. Installation: Two man crew of Rick and Mark showed up on time each day and in spite of the rainy weather was able to complete the job of installing 16 new windows and one sliding glass door within the estimated 4 to 5 day period. Each day they did a good job of cleaning up the work site. Other notables: 1) Final invoice contained an error, overstated amount owed. No problem, upon calling attention to this, Darin came out and got it straight right away. 2) A screen for one of the windows was damaged during shipment. No problem, Eric came out right away and rescreened the frame on site. 3) After a little bit of scheduling delays, City of Austin inspection occurred without a hitch, passed with flying colors. Epilog: We are very please with our new windows.

Energy One replaced the 50-year-old, single-pane aluminum windows in our 1963 home. We're overall really happy with the windows that Energy One installed. I don't buy the whole marketing home mumbo jumbo, and it's kind of insulting to be offered what seemed like a mostly fake deal to try and get me to buy. That being said, we're really happy with the quality of the windows and the price was more than fair. We had already priced out new windows with a couple of other companies and while our savings wasn't quite what the sales guy wanted us to believe, their price definitely beat the quotes we had-some of them by nearly 40%-for a pretty comparable window. Once we ordered, the process was a breeze. The installers were friendly and did great work, and finished ahead of schedule. They cleaned up after themselves, and left the house pretty much like they found it. We'll see what happens when the summer heat comes back around, but it's obvious these windows are a huge improvement. When it used to rain with the old windows, it used to sound like it was raining inside our bedroom. Similarly, i could sit in my office in the front of the house and hear conversations people were having when they walked by the house. The cost of the windows was worth it for the improved sound insulation alone. Now if I want to know if it's raining, I have to look out the window, instead of just listen. i don't buy that these are the best windows ever made at an unbelievable price. But considering their price point, I think it's a fair price for the window you're getting.

We absolutely love our new Energy One windows. While we had updated most of our home, the 30 year old windows made the house look dated and ugly. The new windows make the house look incredible. From the salesman (who didn't make us feel pressured into anything) to the install crew - every single person we've dealt with from Energy One has been incredibly nice. They made the process incredibly simple. The install team was respectful, hard working, and went the extra mile to make sure everything looked nice and we loved our new windows. We have already noticed an incredible difference in noise reduction as well as heating and cooling. One of the first few nights after our windows were installed, a cold front came through. Even though it was nearly freezing outside, it was the first time all winter that we were able to sleep without a space heater on in the bedroom. We would highly recommend Energy One and their products to anyone.

From the friendliness of the initial cold call door to door salesman (Daren) to the installer who put in our new windows(Dave), we could not have had a better experience with Energy One. We had 3 bids to have our windows replaced and while Energy One was a little more than our lowest bid, they came in about 4K lower than Anderson and their lifetime warranty (including accidental damage) was worth the extra cost. Our new triple pane windows are beautiful. I can already tell a difference in the feel and sound of our home. Plus 200 extra back on our taxes! Can not recommend these guys enough!

I recently had Energy One replace the windows and a patio sliding door in my home in Georgetown. I am very pleased with the quality of the windows. The next day was quite cold and I stood beside the door expecting the usual layer of chilled air flowing into the room. Instead, there was so little change in the air temperature that I touched the glass, only to find that it was barely cool to the touch. Great product! The installation went both quickly and smoothly. The installation crew was on time, courteous, and very professional. They laid down tarps on the floor, then cleaned up and vacuumed after themselves. I highly recommend that anyone seeking replacement windows use Energy One products and service. ?Don G.

it went very smoothly due to the involvement of the Construction Manager who was present and kept the work moving. He is a good communicator and explained all the details of what was happening.

From the beginning, it went well. Now, keep in mind, the salesperson for Energy One had a real advantage going into the pitch as I had 3 quotes from other big name companies in Austin and those quotes were double the price of Energy One. Having said that, the sales person was polite, and didn't bash any competitor. He provided a quote for exactly what I needed and didn't try to over quote or over sell. I had 35 year old single pane aluminum windows... double pane vinyl windows were MORE than enough. The team at Energy One kept in communication while ordering/building my windows. An installer came out to precisely measure the openings. This is important as an installer will want his own measurements to be correct since he will be doing the work. about 5 weeks later my windows arrived and the crew set up an installation date. Install day came and the crew was right on time. They kept the areas clean and any mess was straightened up. After completion, they walked through every window and demonstrated it's function. From start to finish, Energy One was the right company for the job; great communication, great product, great service.

From start to finish we found Energy One to be an easy company with whom we could work. They responded quickly to e-mail and phone communications as well as making the whole process as stress free as possible. We were amazed at how quickly this work was completed. We were equally impressed with the installation process, the friendliness of the crew and the clean up they did.

WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT, THE COMMUNICATION OF THE SALES AND INSTALLATION STAFF, AND THE APPEARANCE OF OUR HOME AFTER THE WINDOWS WERE INSTALLED. EVERY STEP JUST 'CLICKED' - EVEN THOUGH WE EXPERIENCED SEVERAL RAIN SHOWERS DURING INSTALLATION. EVERYONE WAS PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, AND CONCERNED NOT TO DISRUPT OUR 'DAY' DURING THIS PROCESS. ALL TIME-LINES WERE MET, AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND ITS' PRODUCT TO CONSUMERS LOOKING FOR REPLACEMENT WINDOW INSTALLATION.

The manager explained the type of windows they have, how they work, and did measurements at the first appointment. Another worker came out a few days later and remeasured all windows prior ordering them. The order was ready for installation in just a little over 4 weeks. The installers arrived promptly on time. They were very polite and very thorough. The install was scheduled for two days but they finished everything in one, long day. They even mixed cement to match our home's mortar to put around the outside of each window. The caulking inside is superb. The windows are such an improvement in our home's looks and curb appeal! One unexpected surprise for us is that they have substantially cut down the street noise heard inside our home; we even sleep better because of this. We highly recommend them!

I called to get a few fogged windows replaced and they don't do that. They encourage the whole home to be replaced. I'm glad they told me this and saved time for both.

We weren't really looking for new windows, but the sales rep who came to our door one Sunday had a really enticing offer if we would serve as a model home for our neighborhood. We agreed, and I couldn't be more pleased. Our Milburn home, which we built in 1988, had single pane windows throughout the house with dark solar screens. It always cast a shadow inside, and it just never felt bright and light. We just replaced the minimum number of windows with Energy One (6), but I am looking forward to completing the rest of them next year. I love the clear light that comes in now and the slider models that leave us with a larger, single window rather than two smaller windows. The installer was GREAT, with one small complaint. When he removed the old window in my daughter's room, he tossed the waste in the flower bed beneath her window, and it was heavy. A few newer plants were damaged in the process, but we just let it go. As for the product, I think it's great. I will be interested to see how they hold up over the years, and if our electric bills get even lower. We had done pretty much everything else to improve the insulation throughout the house - added insulation in the attic, put in venting along the roof, new a great new AC unit during the rebate program to replace units over 20 years old. I would highly recommend Energy One to anyone who is looking to upgrade their single pane windows.

The salesman stayed with us as we changed our minds on different options. They were willing to work with us until we were happy. Then the installers arrived. Very pleasant, professional. We were impressed with the way they worked together, and did the job well. The entire product and process are quality. We are pleased with the energy efficiency we have experience in just a short time.

They were great and came out to gave a presentation of their services. I really liked them and their product, unfortunately I just cannot afford it at the moment.

I received 3 estimates, all from well-known, reputable companies in the area. EnergyOne was the third company, and I selected them because of their pricing, the quality of the products and the very good recommendation they got from a friend who had had windows installed over 18 months before. They were very happy with the service, quality and improvement in a/c and heating bills. EnergyOne's installers came on time to measure and were likewise on time and ready to go for the installation. It was all done in precisely the time they had told me, and they did an outstanding job of clean-up. The foreman also carefully inspected the windows for any problems after removing the old windows and graciously answered all of my questions during the installation. After the installation, I received a "walk through" of the windows to show me the features and to give me instructions about cleaning. All in all a super and absolutely painless--even delightful--day. And I love my windows.

After 32 years it was past time for new windows and as luck would have it an Energy One rep stopped by when canvassing the neighborhood. Our follow up research on Energy One and comparable windows supported our decision to use Energy One for a full house replacement. While we have only recently had the windows installed, the quality/appearance of the window, the company staff and the installation crew (Chuck and his entire team) proved to be top notch. In fact, because of the slightly different thickness of the windows compared to our old ones, Chuck independently came up with a new trim out feature specific to our house design that greatly improved the overall look of the house! The marketing/sales pitch is too much and it would be better/more effective if it was half as long (or less) as you're either sold or not sold on the product early in the presentation and it seems the rest of the time is spent circling the track several times. Regardless, we still gave them the highest rating based on our overall experience.

Cost: I had three companies come in for quotes over the last year; EnergyOne, Champion and Renewal by Anderson. Of course all three wanted to sell me their Cadillac of windows: 3 pane, super coated, etc. I told each that i'm driving a 1972 Pinto and i just need to be upgraded to a 2013 Malibu. My HVAC bills are actually pretty low despite a lack of insulation in the walls (but really thick in the ceilings) so there was very little saving on that front and we really wanted the windows for souund and asthetics. Re-starting with their basic fused vinyl,double pane, argon filled, e glass windows i was able to cut the cost even more by having them convert each double window into one slider. A year ago the prices broke down into $7500, 11000, and $13,000 repectively, so when the Energyone rep came around theeee months ago we struck a deal FWIW, i really couldnt tell any difference in the quality of the basic double pane window each presented despite their efforts to differentiate them selfs from their peers. They said it would be about 8 weeks to fabricate, after which they called to set up a time for installation. It took only 1.5 days to install, they had a crew of about 4-5 most of the time, working 3 windows at a time. With the age and quality of my house the openings werre less than square, and the team made adjustments by adding a thin vinyl strip aliong each side to hide any gaps. I think they actually improve the apperance of the windows. No additional charge. After 4+ weeks we are very happy with the windows, they look great, street noise is severely reduce, ands our two cats now have plenty of clear viewing options as well as windows that actually open.to sit in (the old homeowner had caulked the old ones shut).

It turned out good. They didn't cost as much as some people and the windows look great. It took a little longer than they told me it was going to be and they didn't cleanup after themselves as much as they could have.

Energy one did a great job replacing the windows in our home. We ran into a couple problems with the install- one of the larger windows was made the wrong size due to a miscommunication- however these issues were resolved quickly and the end result is fantastic. I enjoyed working with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

I had been researching new windows and interviewing potential replacement window companies since 2012. I have had visits by and received quotes from several of the big-name national companies. In one case, the vendor could not provide me with a solution for several custom windows. In another case, the windows I wanted were priced far out of my budget range, and the ones that fit my budget were not appealing to me. Early this year, I noticed a neighbor was getting new windows from a company that I was not familiar with, Energy One. With great interest, I watched the installation process, and visited my neighbor to review the finished installation, and was very interested in what I saw. I immediately scheduled a visit with Energy One. My experiences were very good. The sales person was informative, and provided a timely quote. While the quoted price was not inexpensive, falling somewhere between the "budget" window companies and the national company that quoted a very high price, I felt the quote represented a reasonable cost for the perceived value. The lead time from order to installation was approximately six weeks. The installation was completed in just under three days. The installation crew was punctual, professional, and respectful of my home. The installation quality was extremely good, and I am very pleased with the results. The windows are a very attractive enhancement to my home, both inside and outside. I replaced the original windows, which were typical builder-grade aluminum frame, double pane glass, with solar screens. The new windows allow me to do away with the solar screens, which significantly enhances the curb appeal of the home. I also opted to go with windows without the "grids", so I now have an unobstructed view from inside the home. The double-hung design is extremely useful, allowing easy access for cleaning the windows from the inside. No more standing on ladders, removing solar screens, etc. Finally, I want to comment on the energy efficiency of the triple-pane low-E glass and the vinyl frames. About a year ago, I installed Nest Smart thermostats (highly recommended) that allow me to track energy usage on a daily basis. I have been logging the energy usage, which allows me to accurately compare energy efficiency before and after the new window insulation. Starting at the beginning of June, 2013, I have calculated the energy usage compared with the same time last year, adjusted for the daily high temperature reading (from the KVUE weather web site). For the last two months, the 2013 average temperature has been one degree hotter than last year. However, my average energy usage is down by almost 20%! Since all other factors have remained the same, I attribute the energy savings directly to the installation of new windows. My overall assessment is that I have made a wise decision, and chose a highly recommended vendor.
