Elements Group

As soon as I sent in the agreement, the project was on schedule within a couple of days. The crew worked quickly, professionally and left my yard looking clean and beautiful. Currently organizing more projects!

An estimate was provided within a week of our asking for one and the original work was modified one time to allow for some additional flowers which were not included on the first draft. The men and materials arrived early on 7/25 and commenced working immediately. They were finished by 5 that afternoon. The yard and existing grass were not disturbed by the work and, in fact, the grass in the back yard looks better than ever. The irrigation worked as advertised without too much of an addition to our water bill. The company did not ask for payment until they knew that we were thoroughly satisfied with the job. They are going to make one more visit to adjust the irrigation system now that the new plants are well established. They did some up short on the amount of stone required but that item was delivered very soon after the completion of the job at no additional cost to us. We would recommend Elements Group to anyone interested in a landscaping project.

We're very happy with the service of Elements Group - great communication with the front office and account manager for our first meeting, and subsequently they've stayed in frequent touch to make sure the service is what we want. Our account manager changed and over the weekend we had a call from our new manager to set up a meeting to go over the service they're providing - I call that great customer service! The yard looks terrific, and with certified horticulturists on staff, the plants are trimmed appropriately and at the right time of year, without us asking for it to be done. We are paying about the same as we had with our former service, but getting a much better value and the yard is better cared for. Highly recommend this company.

I signed a contract for landscape design and sent it to them 12/8/2013. Got an email back saying they would be there the next week. I had to call a few weeks later to find out what happened. They said they had been busy and would do it the next week. So far nothing.

We were some of the first clients of Elements Group (10 years). When the company was sold by the original owners, so was the level of lawn care and customer service. We were recently given 30 days cancellation notice after asking Greg and Shannon to come out and take a look at our property following a visit that looked like the crew had not even been here. If you want a business that takes pride in their work, exercises integrity, and values customer satisfaction then I suggest you keep looking!

I met with two people, their new accounts manager and the landscape manager. I mainly wanted beds cleared and a few new plants planted. I also specified some plants that I definitely wanted and some that I really hate, like society garlic. I also asked for a monthly maintenance proposal (we live on a 1 acre lot; about 3/4 landscaped. The first problem was responsiveness. They told me I would get the proposal back in three days--on a Friday. On Monday still no proposal, so I shot them a quick email. I was told I'd have the proposal that night. By that Friday, still no proposal, so I made some calls and received the proposal along with some excuses that day. Evidentially the new account manager had been sick, so the person writing the proposal, the landscape manager, was picking up her slack. But if that had been the case why did he tell me on Monday he'd have it to me that night? I saw it as an excuse. It would have been fine to say they'd have the proposal to me in 10 days, but to make an unreasonable promise and the deliver excuses in unprofessional, especially for a company that cost so much. The bid for my landscape work was over $2k, and lawn maintenance over $500/month. The frustrating thing about the landscape proposal was that it was like they weren't even listening to me when we met! They didn't propose the plants I wanted, proposed way too many plants, ,proposed to fill beds I said I didn't want to plant, and, you guessed it, even proposed society garlic. I had some questions about the bid, it took over a week to get that response, and again that was after I had to follow up and ask if they were planning on sending a reply. I hear they are under new management. Don't know if that is true, but it may help to explain some of the chaos. I know there are neighbors in my area that use them, and have for a while now, so they must really like Elements Group. I just didn't think their overall responsiveness bode well given their premium pricing. If I'm going to pay a lot I expect service that is above and beyond.

If you want a group that communicates well and does exactly what they say they are going to do, then I suggest you go with Elements. They are not the least expensive group out there, but you do get what you pay for. My lawn looks terrific and they maintain it extremely well. I plan on using them at my other house as well for a landscaping project. I really like how they stay in constant communication with us. Highly recommend.

I have a yearly contract with them. They do everything for me. What I like about them is they assign a person for you and you just deal with that one person for everything. Whether it's the landscaping, you want new flowers, the grass or the pool I just deal with this one guy and he takes care of everything. I can send an email, text him or call him and he is always available. They are just fantastic. I don't have to call during office hours, I can just email this guy and say what I want and he will take care of it. He actually talks to the people who come out and does the work. I really like the fact that you only have one point of contact. When we first started with him the guy was okay but now we have a guy who is fantastic. If ever he leaves this company I'm going with him.

They are very knowledgeable. They know to plant what the deer don't like. The deer in Beverly Hills like everything, and so far they have not been touched. They sent me a letter saying that they give 2% back to the school district. I wasn't happy with my previous gardeners and so I had them start immediately. They are very reasonably priced. They do a very good job. They have a very nice manager working for them. He comes here and talks to me personally to discuss plans that I might have for the garden. We discuss it. He is very quick. He sends monthly news letters. He lets me know what needs to be done, and how much it is going to cost. I compare that with what other people tell me, and it is always very reasonable. They were pricey but did an excellent job. We had cut back on some expenses so we let them go, so now we do it ourselves. We were very happy with them as everything they did for us was fantastic. We never had any complaints about them. They were great at keeping up on everything without being told. They were very knowledgeable and provided great service. I would highly recommend them. They did a lot for us and we would definitely use them again.

I've experienced spotty performance for the past 2 years along with billing errors. When I questioned the latest round of issues and could not see any evidence of work performed in early spring, the organization cut me off without notification for over 2 weeks. Service was poor and the communication worse. I cannot recommend this vendor. I paid in full for all services and have formally terminated the relationship.

We are very busy and decided to hire a concierge service to help us with the pool and other projects around our house. Although the idea of a concierge service is a good one, this company has not worked out the kinks and it is not worth your money. Instead of paying the premium and having it all taken care of, we actually spent more time on the phone with the concierge service than we did if we hired the individual contractor ourselves (we also had to call the contractors themselves when Elements Group failed to respond for several weeks). Also, some of their in-house workmen are pretty bad. Their pool service was lousy. We went back to our previous pool service after trying Elements Group out for some time. Also, beware of their handyman services. At least one or two of their handymen were terrible and we had to pay someone to redo their work.

My only complaint was that they were expensive, but they did a great job. They gave us a great design and followed the design pretty much exactly. All of the plants and trees were still growing well. The yard looked beautiful when they were finished. They didn t leave any messes to clean up. The price of the landscaping was included in the price of the home, and I couldn t remember which amount was for the yard.
