Description of Work: We used El Sol Logistics twice. If I were describing only our first experience with them, I would give them a complete "A". In May, 2010, El Sol Logistics moved our complete household from the house we were temporarily renting to our current home. The owner gave us a reasonable estimate for the move, a little more than $1000 as I recall. We had done our own packing and this was for moving only. We had a lot of stuff and his estimate was accurate for both time and cost. Whenever we move, our major concern is our antique upright-grand piano. It's very bulky and heavy and reuqires special care. There was a crew of 4 or 5 men involved in the move. The 2 or 3 men moving the piano handled it beautifully. I didn't have a single heart palpitation despite their having to take it across the front lawn on the edge of a hill to get it to the front door, the closest door it would fit through. They were very organized and professional in their approach. They did a great job of protecting our new hardwood floors and our furniture. The furniture was all put into the the appropriate locations in the house, beds were assembled, rubber cups were placed under the legs of large pieces of furniture including the piano. Placing rubber cups under the metal wheels of that piano is always a challenge because it's heavy and has to be placed against a wall. When they left ,every thing was in place and their moving materials removed. Any debri that had been created by the moving process was cleaned up. I couldn't have been more satisfied. Our second experience was a much smaller job and we weren't as satisfied. In November 2011, we had to replace our hardwood floors because the original installation lifted. The furniture had to be moved out of the living room, family room, and dining room and the refrigerator out of the kitchen and into areas of the house that had other flooring. We used a different company to move the furniture out because they had a somewhat lower hourly rate and they were used by the furniture store where we purchased our dining room table which gave us confidence in them. Although they said the piano wouldn't be a problem, we were uncomfortable with the way they handled it ,and they didn't seem as experienced and professional as the people at El Sol Logisics. We went back to El Sol Logistics to move the furniture back in and reminded them of the piano. This second experience didn't go as well and took longer than it should have, thereby costing more money. It took 2 hours to move the furniture out and 4 hours to move it back in. Despite my reminding them about the piano, only two men arrived to make the move, and only one of them seemed experienced. At one point, we were afraid the piano was going to topple over and my husband had to devise a way to move it back into the livng room safely without damage to either the piano of the new floors, This was a move of only 15 feet through wide doors. The second problem was the refrigerator. We had purchased it since we moved into the house. Moving it in and out from the laundry room, although a short distance, required removing the refrigerator doors. The movers clearly didn't have experience with this kind of issue or the Teflon skids placed under the refrigerator to slide it back into place and protect the floors. Because of this lack of experience, it took a long time. They did get it done and it wasn't an easy thing to do. The third problem was returning the dining room table from the garage to the dining room. When the table was first delivered and when it was moved to the garage, the movers carried it through the wide family room doors and around the back of the house--no problem. This time the El Sol movers dropped it. The company did repair the minor damage to the table and did a great job. We were sorry to learn later that the less experienced young man had broken his foot in this process. I'm sure that made it hard for him to continue working and he probably shouldn't have.

Description of Work: These folks moved heavy furniture within our room and moved a TV downstairs from our room to a kid's room. They also set up our new flat screen TV. Years ago they delivered a piano we had bought in a local store, which is how we knew of them.
