Health and safety are always our highest priority. In light of COVID-19, we are taking extra measures -- including social distancing and increased PPE/sanitation procedures -- to protect the health of our community and team as we continue to provide service. In short, you can expect the same great service but with some modifications for the protection of all involved. We are a local, family-owned business that has been serving the greater Austin area since 1976. Over the last 40+ years, we have built a reputation for providing high-quality, comprehensive HVAC, electrical and plumbing service. We employ experienced, full-time technicians and don't use subcontractors, so you can expect consistently great quality and service whenever you call us. In addition to receiving extensive training before working independently, all of our technicians must pass a background check, drug test and random drug screening, which many other companies do not require. We hold our employees to the highest standards in order to provide you with the highest level of service. We service and install all brands of air conditioning, but we are proud to be a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer and a two-time winner of the Carrier President's Award for excellence.

Description of Work: Ian added a new breaker and two new outlets in our garage and outside. He did good work. My only complaint is the mess he left. I'm still finding screws and bits of electrical trash all over my yard and garage.

Description of Work: We had our AC system and furnaces replaced. We had 2 HVACs and 2 furnaces placed. Job was done as provided. Whole staff was excellent and very efficient and explained how to use system. The main person we spoke with, forgot his name but starts with D, was very knowledgable. We had multiple quotes from other companies and D just answered all our questions be took the time to go over things and rally gave us all information. I would recommend this company highly!

Description of Work: Called to repair non functioning plugs. Replaced the plugs and installed GFCI in bathroom and kitchen which were not working. Very professional and informative and to the nature of the problem and how it could be corrected, including price. Made suggestions for LED fixtures that would save energy and money.

Description of Work: The technician quickly found the problem with our main floor AC - a blown capacitor - and replaced it. He also added several gallons of freon to our upstairs unit since we knew it had a leak and it hadn't been cooling well. He also set up a follow on appointment to discuss options about replacing the upstairs unit.

Description of Work: Efficient AC installed 2 Carrier Infinity Inverter HVAC systems (2-ton and 4-ton). Adam and the installers did a great job. Only down side is the total cost and not being able to get the utility rebate because the EER rating for this new system did not meet the requirement. I am hoping that Efficient AC will continue providing great customer service and we get what we paid for.
