Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing

They’re great! They always come in and do a good analysis of the problem and leave everything. We’re on a contract with them where they come twice a year at a good rate, which also takes off the charge for showing up. Their price is fair compared to the competition, they’re very polite and easy to talk to, and so they’re our company of choice now! I’m always impressed at how they give us advice and instruction on how to best maintain our unit (and home).

Thank you for doing such a wonderful and thorough inspection and service of my 12 year old AC system this morning. Your technician -- Mardi -- was extremely knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and made a number of needed repairs in a timely and accurate fashion. If all your technicians are as customer-service-oriented and knowledgeable as she, then I believe I'll be calling you back for future service, repairs and upgrades. It went pretty well. There were no issues with the work and they did a great job on the install. I didn’t price around too much, but I did get an Angie’s List discount.

It went very well! We’d use them again and recommend them to others. I was really impressed because they explained that some of the things I thought I needed in the bid, I actually didn’t need. It might not have been the cheapest, but I was very impressed with their follow up and responsibility. They were spot on with the amount of time they said it would be, cleaned up good, and were great with my schedule (and even my dogs).

I love them! They?ve been great to work with! They?ve very responsive and get here very quickly. I?ve had them do some substantial work for us. They replaced our circuit (at no charge) and they?re very good at helping us get rebates and sales from various companies. They?re not the cheapest but it?s worth it.

Came back from a trip and found the house freezing and AC not working. Called Efficient , they promptly showed up in about 30 minutes. Adam meticulously inspected the unit and quickly diagnosed that the temperature switch had shut off automatically due to clogged filters. I was worried about expensive repair bill as the AC had been running but the unit was not heating the ground floor. Instead, I got a gentle reminder to change the filter regularly from Adam. He reset the switch and stayed around making sure that the AC was heating the house.He is very sharp, thorough and extremely professional. I rate them five stars for their service.

They did a great job. They were pretty straightforward and honest. I had a blown out circuit and the guy told me that I just have to replace one piece. I had some other random companies that I called and they were trying to get me to replace the whole air conditioner. He was pretty honest about what I needed to get fixed and how much longer I have before I had to actually buy a new A/C.

Marty is one of the most amazing tech I have ever had seen. She not only knows her heating/cooling systems inside and out but explains every detail of the system to a non-techie with the greatest of clarity. Marty arrived as scheduled and thoroughly inspected the attic system as well as the outdoor unit. She explained what parts were in need of replacement, which areas needed cleaning and even identified an unused electric heater coil and why it was not in service and how to get it back in operation. She also saw to the flushing of the condensation line. She provided sound advice for future up keep and suggestions of what to look for in the future as possible issues. If all service techs could be this responsible we the consumer would never have another complaint. I will certainly be using Efficient Air for all my future needs.

Replaced entire A/C unit. Very professional from discussing various options & prices to installation of product. We never felt pressured to buy the higher priced units. Everything was explained from beginning to end and they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves.

Replaced my electrical panel outside and upgraded to a larger 200 amp panel. |They also installed new electrical service to my house. The old service was attached to house with a screw and was almost ready to pull out. They replaced this with a pipe attached to the meter with it running through a hole in my roof(much better setup). They also hooked up my ground rods to the panel. All of this replaced my original 57 year old electrical service which had been added on through the years. I feel my house is ready for the next 50+ years or until my house is demolished to make way for light rail, whichever comes first.

Bill Santiago promptly contacted me to schedule his evaluation and was clear about what needed to be done. I agreed to upgrade to 200 amp, and he explained the cost. He was flexible about when the service was to be scheduled and very responsive to my calls and questions. I plan to use his company for my next electrical job.

Informed that a part was not working well and should replace it. Cost over 200, which wasn't expected. Showed the issue so they were transparent and were NOT pushy.

Adam arrived before our gas had been turned on, which left him unable to check the furnace and heating system. He came back after it was turned on later that afternoon and was incredibly gracious and affable about the entire situation. I never felt that we inconvenienced him, despite knowing that it was an imposition. I highly recommend this company and will be utilizing them again!

This company charges $50 for estimates, and then tries to hook you by claiming, o gee, by the way, if you use our service, we give you a $75 credit (which is really just a $25 credit). So, if they are over charging you to begin with the $25 doesn't mean squat. Companies like this try to hook you with the $75 off. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Any legitimate company provides free estimates.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Explained all aspects of service and provided useful suggestions. Also gave me a $50 carbon monoxide detection unit for free.

Added refrigerant to two AC systems. Trimmed back some vines from my outdoor units. :)

I had a great experience. She was personable. She did the work quickly. They showed up on time and I had no complaints at all. She told me that I could clean the coils myself and save myself some money. The price was fantastic.

According to my spousette, the technician was professional in all aspects. He did find the need for the replacement of a rusted drain pan and left a quote.
