Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing

It went really well. Darwin Tanksley gave us an estimate and made suggestions on making our house cooler. We had four other bids from other folks on Angie's list. Efficient air was not only cheaper but offered more than the others. On the day of the installation Tony and Miguel were here early and they didn't leave until the AC was working that evening. Everyone from efficient air-conditioning was very professional.

We were very impressed with this company. I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for 2 hours of service for $99. The final price ended up being $200 because we needed an additional 30 minutes of service at their usual rate and we needed a few parts. The company responded almost immediately after I purchased the deal, they were extremely easy to make an appointment with, and they gave me no run around about using the deal. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and got straight to work on the issue. He had to problem solve a particularly difficult wiring situation in a house built in 1980. He quickly figured out the best solution and took care of our issue. I was very impressed with this company and we WILL be using them again if we ever have any other electrical issues.

David was punctual, he called before showing up and had all of the needed materials. He confirmed exactly what I was expecting to have done. He was respectful of my property and when done working did a good clean up of the area he was working around. I am very pleased with the work and would call this company again if I needed any electrical work done in the future.

David and Marty arrived ready to work. They saw my list and completed every item on it. David was the lead tech. He organized the time and tasks so that everything was completed within just about two hours. I had to pay a minimal amount ($23.66) for some parts. This was money well spent. I need to have some ceiling fans installed and I plan on calling on Efficient Air Conditioning and David to do the job. I am very happy that I took advantage of this Angie's Deal.

The company has since responded to me and refuned me for the full amount of the service call. I feel like given the other reviews and the company's response that this must have just been an off day for them.

The service was good. The technician was very knowledgeable and showed me the right way to maintain my unit. He even showed me an opening in my foundation that needed to be closed. He closed it for me without any additional fees which I appreciated a lot.

The technician, Ernest, was prompt and professional. He explained the cause of the switch issue and how it was repaired. Efficient's rates are very reasonable, the office is very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend both Efficient and Ernest.

The tech was on time, courteous, and professional. I had house guests at the time, and the tech quietly and unobtrusively worked around them. He gave me good tips on how to maintain the a/c and heating system.

The tech's, Ben & Hector, showed up on time, introduced themselves, asked about the service needs and quickly got to work. They took precautions not to leave any foot prints on the floor. The work was finished on time. Ben went over the details and findings with me. The technicians answered all the questions I had and made some general recommendations about my AC system. Overall the job was clean and professionally done. I would hire Efficient Air again for my future service needs.

I purchased a furnace check for $39 since I hadn't had it done in the fall, and it stayed cold in Austin. The tech did a thorough job and cleaned off the filter. No complaints. I will use them again in the fall.

I purchased the coupon for electrical services. The company called me after my purchase to set up the appointment, making it very easy to contact them again when I was ready to schedule. The electrician called when he was on his way over and arrived on time. He explained everything he was doing, giving me choices in the way I wanted the finished product to look. A storm blew in while he was working outside, but he kept on working until the job was done. On the ceiling fan he noticed a defect in the lighting unit of the fan--a defect I would not have noticed. He suggested that I call the manufacturer to get the part replaced, which I did. He was very conscientious and very clean in his treatment of my home. Overall, a very good experience.

The guys came in and checked out what I needed and got it done in the amount of time expected.

A/C wouldn't cool. I called after regular business hours and got a living, breathing, talking person from the answering service. She said she'd relay the information to Efficient A/C and they would call me in the morning. Shortly after 8:00a, the next morning, Michelle called with the complete info I'd given the answering service. She said Ernest would be at my house mid to late morning to investigate the problem. Ernest showed up, diagnosed the problem, checked with the manufacturer to discover that the coil was still under warranty (labor and coolant for my account) and arranged for Evan and Mardi to obtain a new coil and complete the work the following day. They showed up, as scheduled, and had the work completed by 5:00p. During the night I discovered further adjustment was required. The next morning I called Efficient A/C at 8:00a and explained the problem to Michelle. She said she'd send someone out that morning. Evan arrived before noon, quickly made the proper adjustments, and the A/C has been working fine since.

They installed new venting with a very creative way to make it work! Tony stayed until he had it all perfect. I think they go the second mile and were very punctual.

They worked extremely well with the city for permits and inspections. They got green carded on the first final inspection. They cleaned up in a hurry and let me have the rest of the day to do errands. The supervisor came last night to check and see if I was happy..

It went fine; except we asked for additional work and we area trying to get all of the billing taken care of.

Company inspected wiring in attic and had to check bathroom and outside plugs twice to located problem. Once problem was found, they informed me of how I could purchase and replace bad garage GFI receptacle myself and save significant amount of $$, which I did. Techs were good but somehow missed problem on initial review and inspection.

They were very professional and informative. I think they went beyond the call of duty in cleaning vents etc.
