Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing

David and Sergio were especially helpful in explaining various situations. Very helpful, efficient, and very professional. Both subjects worked together and was done within five hours. They took the time to cleanup the area's they worked in. The only negative thing was I needed information on replacing the exhaust fans in two bathrooms. David asked if I was going to replace them and I said yes. He said not to get one that has heat to replace the old ones if they don't have heat. I knew what he meant but I think the fans have more detail than whether they have heat, like the correct size for the bathroom. I was not going to replace them that day, but I would have liked to have the basic parameters in order to buy the correct fan. David did tell me to call him before I buy anything and he could guide me. But I feel he could have provided me with that info while he was here. I was told by the young lady that scheduled for his company, that The installer would need to see what I already had in order to let me know what I need to get. The work done was exceptionally, and it really believe I've found my electrician. Maybe he just needed to warm up to me.

The electrician was punctual, professional, fast and efficient. He completed the job within the time frame as indicated.

They did excellent work. They were on time ready to work. Were very prompt and very professional. I am very pleased with the service they provided.

Even though they had a full schedule, they did get to the house as soon as possible-within 8 hours. Very courteous. Replaced the start capacitor on the condenser fan, checked out the unit and said it looked good.

The Angie's price was a bit misleading. Only the breaker box was included and addition components were needed. The brought the price up to what I had received on another bid. Only one person came out to do the work as they were short handed, so it took longer than was expected. But otherwise the the job went well.

The company should clarify that if you don't have the parts to install, the time they take to go purchase the parts starts your two hour time frame.

I couldn't be more pleased with Efficient Air Conditioning. Our AC was not working so I called the company who had originally installed our system but they couldn?t get to us for 3 days. So I called Efficient. Michelle got right back to me and scheduled us for the next morning at 8 AM. The technician called at 8 and said he was on his way. When he arrived, he was friendly and professional and introduced himself as Ernest. He quickly assessed our problem and gave me options to choose from his parts binder. We chose the 1-year warranty capacitor which is made in the USA. That did the trick! Ernest then ran the system and checked the temps to make sure everything was working properly. We will definitely call them again if we ever need help with our AC system.

Efficient is a very apt name. The company was very quick to respond to my message and quickly scheduled a technician to come out. Adam arrived precisely on time and conducted a thou rough check of my two AC units. He also took the time to explain everything he was doing and recommended some service items. I felt very comfortable with Adam and did not once feel I was being taken advantage of. I would definitely use these guys again.

Dave arrived on time, answered my questions thoroughly and was fast, professional and personable. I will definitely recommend and will call them first for any future projects.

I wanted to make sure my AC had remained working properly before I submitted a review. On 2/24/2014 a very nice technician came out and inspected my 3 ac units and said I needed 3 evaporator coils and a blower motor replaced. He told me to call office to schedule the service with the Service Manage. The appointment was scheduled for 8:30am on 3/19/2014. On Wednesday morning. 3/19/14, when did not arrive on time I called the office and was told everyone was in a meeting they had every Wednesday morning and the Service Manager should have told me since he conducts the weekly meetings. Two men arrived at 10:30am. They replaced the coils and the blower motor and were finished at 4:00pm. In the proposal I was quoted the work would take 2 men at least 8 hours. I was impressed with the short time in which they completed the job. Just as they were leaving one technician said the builder had not put the transitions in properly and 2 needed to be replaced and it would cost me $1000.00 for parts and labor. I asked him why I had not been told this before since I had paid for labor that was not used and they could have been replaced that day along with the coils and blower motor. He said the technician who had come out originally was too young and inexperienced to know they needed to be replaced, but, if I did not have them replaced it would just ruin the new coils they had installed. I called the 1st technician and asked why he did not tell me about the transitions and he said the 2 men should have replaced the transitions when they were replacing the coils, they carried them on their truck, and it was normally part of the installation of the coils. The weather had been unusually cold and I did not need the AC but when I turned the units on; 1 did not work at all, 2 were cooling and there was a horrible noise coming from something. I turned every unit off and called the office back to schedule service. They sent the first young man back. He told me the transitions did need to be replaced on 2 units and the compressor needed to be replaced on the 3rd. He also told me it would be cheaper if I replaced both the compressor and the condenser than just the compressor alone. He told me he would have the company give me a quote on the repairs. The Service Manager called and said he was coming out to take a look at everything. After he checked the units he told me the compressor had to be replaced, the blower motor had to be replaced because the vendor sent them the wrong one for my unit, and the 2 transitions did not need to be replaced. I questioned him as to why the installation technician would say I needed to have the transitions replaced and why he said it would cost $1000.00 since the 1st technician had said it should have been done when the coils were replaced. He told me the reason the installation technician had given me such a high price was because he was only looking out for the company. I asked him why they all weren't looking out for their customer. The Service Manager sent me two quotes; 1 for the compressor only and 1 for the compressor and the condenser and he said there would be no charge to replace the incorrect blower motor they had installed. I was concerned about the different stories being told so before scheduling the second repair I called the owner on 5/19/14. After several calls he came to the phone. He said he had given me more than a fair price for the repairs that had been made, he was going to replace the incorrect blower motor they installed, and he was giving me a really good deal on the compressor that needed to be replaced....so just what more did I want from him? He started raising his voice telling me he had been in meetings all day, he needed to pick his children up for his wife, and he was tired and wanted to go home. I told him I wanted the transitions replaced and he said he had done all he was going to do for me and he was going to refund my money and I could go elsewhere to get my AC repaired...end of conversation. I contacted Carrier Headquarters the next day. They recommended a local certified Carrier dealer and the owner came out the same day. This gentleman spent about an hour checking everything out and making the repairs. He said the blower motor was the correct one and he only needed to adjusted the fan speed. he replaced a small part on the AC unit that would not work at all . He charged me $256.00. My air conditioning has been cooling perfectly and there is no noise coming from the blower motor. I will never use or recommend any other HVAC person or company again.

The company (Kate and Michelle) responded immediately after I purchased the deal. It was extremely easy to make an appointment the date I needed. The technician, David, called in advance before arriving, arrived on time, was super professional, and got straight to work on the issues. David had to problem solve a wiring situation and he quickly figured out the problem and took care of the issue. I was super impressed with David's professionalism, ethics and admiration for the company. It's rare to see employees like David act as responsive and helpful as I expect that the owner of the company would do. I was very impressed with this company and will definitely use them again and request David.

Excellent work diagnosing and repairing wiring issues

They were supposed to contact me 30-40 minutes prior to arrival and the call came in only 10 minutes before the technician arrived. I knew that the capacitor on the unit wasn't bad but wanted to have it checked out anyway. My assumption was that the contacts were what was bad. After the inspection he told me that I needed to replace both the contacts and the capacitor. I was quoted $411 for the total replacement, which didn't included the $75 diagnostic fee. I am familiar with the how the units are supposed to work and after he gave me his quote he started to pack his things and I said that I wasn't going to have it fixed because I could get the parts cheaper on my own. I told him that I would just pay $75 diagnostic fee and asked if he just replaced the contacts if that would resolve the issue. He just looked at me and said "yeah, probably". The technician ended up replacing the contacts and the unit now works fine. I was quote $136 but the final bill is $211 because once again they don't include the diagnostic fee in the initial quote. On his way out, he said that the compressor was going bad and he could tell by the way it sounded. The whole experience was very sketchy and I felt that I was being lied to the whole time

The service provider responded promptly to email request. The female repair person was very professional. The units are old with limited available parts but she provided the service and made recommendations for preventive maintenance.

I got the big deal for 2 hours of electrical service for $99. I had a few electrical items that I needed help. He worked very hard. He was in attic in hot weather for almost one hour installing the breakout boxes. He did a fine job of finding source of the problems. I ended up spending more than the big deal but I was pretty happy with the work.

They charged $75 an hour. The guy was very knowledgeable, very cooperative and very friendly.

David showed up early and got right to work. He promptly discovered a bad GFCI outlet and I was not surprised because it had not been working. He checked all other outlets and to my surprised found nothing wrong with any of them. I was expecting some trouble as I thought they had not been working for me in the past. He then proceeded to remove an old ceiling fan and installed a new one. David was very helpful and quick to answer any concerns I had. I would definitely ask for David for your electrical needs.

I purcahsed a BIG Deal- 2 hour Electrical Labor. I recieved an mmediate call back and we quickly set up an appointment.. The technician called before beforehand and showed up on time. The work didn't take long to complete but I knew that going in. The technican (David) was very professional and you could tell he really cared about his job and ensuring I was 100% satisfied. I was. David spent considerable time answering varous unrelated electrical questions. He was very careful to clean up his mess. He left his personal phone number and stressed that if I have any issues to call him first to see if he can walk me through the problem before I spent anymore money. I was very pleased with David and the company and will most definitely use them again. In fact, I scheduled a 2nd appointment for HVAC technican with this company already.

Thought lamp fixture would be easy and quick...it was not. Did a great job under. Difficult circumstances on the outlet.

I purchased the $99 deal and was very happy with the service and professional attitude by the electrician. He also removed a chandelier in my dining area. I was happy that he explained to me that the light I got for the driveway wasn't very sturdy and wouldnt last long. I am very happy with the light he installed. I will have them back for future projects. Thank you for making my home a little safer!
