The technician, Arthur Thomas, diagnosed and resolved the issue extremely fast. I was very impressed with his quick troubleshooting as well as his professionalism to stay and validate everything was working as expected. In addition, he assisted with cabling issues and advice that was not originally part of the service call without hesitation. This was an excellent service call experience!

The capacitor went out during a brutal heatwave late at night and it was fixed within an hour.

Robert came out early on a Saturday morning to address our AC which stopped working on Friday night. Given the 100+ temperature in Austin, this was highly appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got our AC functional till a replacement part arrived. Highly recommend!

Ok for the technician yesterday. It was determined most likely needed replacement. Can only run the fan not the AC. The tech took the information and said sales would call today. It’s after 7pm, no call, no AC. Called Sunday night for a callback Monday. Missed the call, message was garbled, transferred x4 before someone would give us info

My husband was a mechanical and electrical contractor and I worked in his office for 20 years. This was the first time in my life I’ve had to hire an electrical contractor and I was extremely pleased. I’m moving out of town or I’d definitely be calling again.

It went great! Highly recommend. Ask for Darwin and he will shoot you straight and get you exactly what you need at a great price with outstanding service.

The guy came out, quickly said I needed a whole new system. Then when I said that won’t happen he said my Freon level was low and had a leak and I needed at least 3 lbs of gas. He wanted to charge me $600 for the gas. I questioned why would I put 3 lbs in if it was leaking and suggested putting in 1 lb and see if it leaks. Seriously, he wanted to put an environmentally toxic gas in leaking system. He put the lesser amount in, charges me $321. It still wasn’t working after he left. I asked friends for recommendations and another company came out and said my evaporator coil needed cleaned. Sure enough, works like new. I called the scammers at efficient and the receptionist could not have been ruder. I spoke to the manager and he said he would call me back. But hasn’t as hasn’t responded to my messages. People, pay attention to this! If your ac or furnace isn’t working properly you don’t need a new system. Don’t let them scare you! If you get a flat you don’t buy a new car so don’t waste your money, have them replace the part and for the love of god ask around for a honest company!

It went very well. Arthur was very professional and did a great job of explaining everything to me. I learned some things about HVAC that I did not know (not that I knew a lot!!) I am very happy with the service provided and will hire them again.

It was very good! They were on time and professional. The repairman was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Everything was amazing. Darwin called 30 min beforehand to confirm and then arrived on time. We walked through and talked through everything, including sizing the new system. He was very transparent about everything. He was able to schedule me for the following day (YAY) and the crew showed up on time, starting at 9 am and had everything installed by 2:00pm. Crew would not come through the house because of the mud from all the rains. They cleaned up everything as they went and hauled away all materials. I cannot recommend highly enough. Efficient, indeed!

took a week - Memorial Day weekend not their fault, but nevetheless, a week!? More disturbing - more interested in having me spend 6x (SIX TIMES) more than a repair on a new water heater than on repairing the one I ahve.

Super impressed with this business. We live in a small rural town outside of any major metropolitan area. And, although Angie's List recommended this company for our zip code, they do not service our area. They could have just ignored our request, but instead, I received a very prompt phone call thanking me for my interest and notifying me that they couldn't service my home. I appreciate the punctuality, the professionalism, and the responsiveness!

This review is solely based on my experience with their Semi-Annual Service Agreement and not the repairs originally performed. Per my review below (April 19), I was so pleased with the repair services that were provided, I decided to purchase Efficient's Semi-Annual Service Agreement. As the repair was done on Friday, the repair person said I could expect a call on Monday (April 22) to schedule the first inspection. When I had not heard from Efficient by May 6, I used the e-mail feature on the Efficient website where it promises "Let us contact you!". I provided both the invoice no. and work order no. for reference. When I had not been contacted, I repeated the same process on May 8. When I still had not been contacted by almost noon the next day (Thurs, May 9), I used the Angie's List "Message Business" feature to again request Efficient contact me and provided the same reference information. Additionally on May 9, I e-mailed the person who did the repairs to let him know I was still waiting to be contacted by Efficient and asked if he could get someone to contact me to schedule the inspection service. He responded in a very timely manner and let me know that he had forwarded my message to their "lead dispatcher". He had also suggested that I call the office directly and gave me the names of two people to speak with. As of today May 14, I have not been contacted to schedule this service. This service is supposed to include both a spring and fall servicing. Yes, after four failed attempts, I could now call their office to schedule the appointment directly, but for a recurring service, shouldn't they be contacting me? Also, am I going to have to put the fall inspection on my calendar and go through this same process again to schedule that service. Their repair person inspired such confidence, but everything since then has made me regret my decision. Best case scenario, Efficient will refund the money I spent on the service agreement.

It was amazing. They estimate three days to do the work and it took three days. They also helped me to collect the data I required for a formal complaint to the insurance company of the previous contractor. What was truly amazing however, was how they worked with the supplier to get us the absolute best deal on the equipment necessary for the replacement. If we had paid them to do the work in the first place, we wouldn't have lost $16,000 to a contractor who ruined the equipment in our first installation through ignorance. I recommend the 10-year maintenance contract. This was a mini-split system, so it required an advanced skill set and they had it.

Robert was outstanding! Friendly, professional, and most of all, knew his stuff! Not only did he quickly diagnose and fix the problem, he took care of a couple of minor things that previous repair companies had left undone. All of those companies had also offered their service plan, but this is the first time that I found a company/repair person that inspired me to take it. I now have an HVAC company.

I put in a request for a bid on a plumbing job and no one from the company even contacted me to provide the bid or anything.

They did a good job and great service.
