Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing

Ian arrived on time and asked about my issues, he quickly checked the outlets and the circuit breakers. Provided me with several options and after choosing my options he went to work. He did warn me that there was a possibility of the work going over which I was okay with, considering what he had to do I was expecting it. Luckily he completed it all right on time, with a few minutes to spare!! He explained to me how circuit breakers burn up and and how fire is started and the main panel. My house has aluminum wiring so he added some chemical to the lines so that they would not separate, when reconnecting the wires to the CFI he made sure they were in tight. He tested each circuit breaker in the electrical panel to ensure the wires were nice and tight, which he didn't have to do, found some that were lose, for that I am thankful. Ian also answered my questions and I am sure I was a pest but he didn't show it, very nice to talk to and very, very professional. He knows his business well.

They were very efficient and helpful. They gave advice as well.

He was on time and he spent several hours working on the various things we had for him. His work was superb and we will definitely use his services again.

Poor response times, then refused to refund a coupon I bought, after I was forced to hire a competitor. they also argued with me on the phone that they weren't being responsive, which added to the poor customer service experience.

the deck lights plug had recently begun to get hot to the touch after being plugged into the 27-year old outdoor socket. I thought it necessary to change out the socket for safety. This was done, but the deck light plug still gets hot, so it must be the lights themselves.

The hanging of the large chandelier in the bathroom was a real challenge due to its size and weight. Nonetheless, with some persistence and special solutions we were successful and it looks great. Everything else went very smoothly. The electrician was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I am amending my review to reflect updates to this situation. Previously, we hired Efficient Air to conduct a diagnostic on our AC systems prior to purchasing the home. In short, we were disappointed in the service because the technician did not diagnose everything that the home inspector had noted as deficient, leaving us confused as to whether the issues were minor or just overlooked. We ended up using Efficient Air to complete the diagnosed repairs (new ductwork, safety switches, blowing out drain line, and installing rigid gas pipe). They finished up yesterday and the system seems to be working good. The technician, Tony, was professional and a hard-worker. He remembered me from the diagnostic and was genuinely happy that we were able to purchase the home. Although I already planned to update this review, I received a call from Efficient Air offering to resolve the initial complaint. This further solidified my decision to amend the review. I think it says a lot about a company that takes the time to reach out and attempt to resolve any concerns with their customers. While my initial review was pretty negative, I must admit that Efficient Air has remedied the situation and alleviated my concerns. Hopefully we won't have any need for an AC company anytime soon but, if we do, I would not hesitate to call Efficient Air. Thanks for following up and offering to resolve the situation. It's appreciated.

I called the main office to setup a service call and was told that service would be available in a couple of hours. Sure enough, Matt -- the technician that came out -- called prior to his arrival and was on point with his ETA. He was very cordial, professional, and courteous. I was also very please that he took the time to answer any questions we had and to explain the problem, the repair part, and all applicable warranties. I will use these guys for now on.

Ian called the day before to ask specifics on the job being performed. He called 30 minutes prior to arriving. He showed up on time, and troubleshooted my ceiling fan and the wiring. He was kind and professional. I have also used this company for AC in the past and have been satisfied.

The install went well. The lights on the sides of the garage had be drilled through the rock which left the lights crooked and not at the right angles. They still work fine but visually not very appealing.

Communicated well, friendly, punctual. did quality work. I would use them again!

Everything went well. I called and scheduled a time for them to come out. He showed up on time got to work and tested everything for me to see it worked correctly before he left. It went the way you would expect. I would recommend them if you need electrical work done.

s out)I was really impressed by the original repairman who suggested it was time to replace the system and explained the problem well. Then, again, by the salesman who examined the old system, asked well chosen questions, and suggested the ducting rework that has improved our comfort in several rooms. The two installers arrived on time and spent over a 10-hour day in the hot attic (102 degrees out) to get us on line before night. They explained the system very well and left our house and yard immaculate. This will be my go-to company in the future..

The entire staff at Efficient Air is very helpful and professional. Our AC unit went out and Tony checked it out. Tony showed up on time and did a thorough job inspecting the unit. He had us up and running, but a few days later the unit quit again. After another visit Tony determined that replacement was the best option. I had been experiencing issues with this unit for years, so it was not an unexpected diagnosis. Darwin came out later to complete a survey and recommend some options. He showed up on time and was very professional. He provided multiple replacement options discussed available, no-interest financing. We made our decision and scheduled the appointment. The replacement team showed up on time and worked quickly. They spent about half a day replacing the unit and sealing the ducts to the plenum. They did a great job cleaning up the work site. However, here is where I had to lower my rating. About an hour after they left, we noted that the unit was repeatedly turning on then immediately turning off. Out comes Tony again. It was determined that the installers had overcharged the system and the unit was shutting itself off to prevent damage. He fixed this and we have been running trouble free now for several weeks. The house has never been cooler, and it does seem as though my electric bill is lower. One more thing. When we failed to qualify for the utility rebate due to a misunderstanding of the requirements, Darwin and Efficient Air made it right.. The entire process was very good. I think it took only about one week from diagnosis to replacement. I think we could have completed it quicker but for working around my schedule. I found the staff to be very responsive, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend them and I will definitely continue to do business with them.

I purchased two hours for $139. Ian was very courteous and professional. He got the job done in the timeframe. He also gave me an estimate on some other work that I'm thinking about having done. The office staff was very friendly and very prompt in returning my emails. I would definitely recommend this company and I will use them again.
