Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing

We purchased a 2 hour package for electrical work. He spent probably 30 minutes or so to fix the wall outlet that was just loose wires and said we could still use the 1.5 hours for them to come back any time to do other work. No return trip fee or anything. Very nice and courteous. Great job.

The electrical part of the job took a lot longer than I thought it should have.

Very satisfying experience. Technician was very helpful with maintenance tips as he cleaned condenser coil, checked all components for proper functioning, conducted diagnostic testing of compressor and refrigerant performance, checked filter & duct system, confirmed overall safe operation.

Ian was fabulous. Kept me informed as to his arrival time. We walked through the issues, and he set to work in a wonderfully methodical way...starting at the circuit breakers and working out toward the periphery. I was truly impressed. He found a couple of loose connections, replaced the plugs ($10) and all is a go. Although it was somewhat less than 2 hours, it is still a bargain!

I had a great experience with the Efficient crew that showed up. They arrived on time and quickly took care of a few items I was looking to get fixed. They were very quick, so I thought my 3 items may take the full 2 hours I bought on Angie's List but it really only took about 1-1.5 hours. I would re-hire them in a heartbeat, they were friendly and extremely knowledgable.

Hector was very efficient. He checked out the furnace and gave me some choices on the thermostats he had in the van. Quick and painless.

Jeff Schreiber is a pleasure to work with. He kept me informed of his arrival time, was very pleasant. He diagnosed the problem promptly and made necessary repairs. I shall definitely continue to use his services.

The service technicians were on time and very professional. They told me what was wrong and the time and cost to repair. I actually had them do some service that I would have done myself but I liked the honesty and professionalism. I will definitely use this company in the future.

Everything went well. They were on time, timely in installation and even offerred future information with regards to the kitchen light (ie that it was not a good light and should we need to change the light bulbs we should install a new one).

The guys from Efficient Electric called to let us know they could come earlier than planned which was good news for us as we could better plan our day. They were respectful of our home, wiping their feet upon entering. They thoroughly checked all of the issues we were concerned with and made any needed changes without trying to sell us things we did not need.

The first date we had got cancelled due to car trouble, but they showed up reliably on the second date and did a great job!

Efficient Air Conditioning and Electric did a fantastic job with our A/C repair. They were extremely courteous and prompt and even reminded us there was an Angie's List coupon for the service call fee. While no one likes home repairs and the cost, we can genuinely say we have a new A/C repair company we can count on!

Representatives could nto have been nicer, more professional, or more efficient. They got so much done! I will be calling them again for sure.

Arrived on time, addressed the things I needed addressed and went beyond that. He also provided me with great followup instructions I needed to complete a painting job.

Ian was dispatched for our appointment. He was very prompt and courteous upon greeting. We described the work that needed to be done. He worked diligently to get the job done and was very conscientious in explaining our options. Work was completed within the allotted time and charge was accurate to proposal. All in all, a very positive experience. Will use in the future!

Ian Kidd was our service tech. He was very courteous and punctual. I explained the issue I was having with the exhaust fan and he was very informative on diagnosing the issue. It turned out to be a loose connection and he was able to diagnose it pretty quick. He also installed 2 ceiling fans. Ian explained all the left over parts from the ceiling fan box and he made the installation look easy. Price was fair and we would definitely use them again.

I was bummed that I was not able to use the previous electrician, Dave Boernman, that they sent out for one of my previous jobs. But, Efficient Air Conditioning & Electric sent out Ian and he was great too! Really appreciate their whole team. I'll need more electric work in the future, and I'll be contacting them again.

This was an after hours repair. The fee charged for the service call ($150) was reasonable considering that this was repaired on a Sunday. However, the charge for the run capacitor itself was not at all reasonable. After the fact I looked up the part on Amazon and could have purchased it for $25. I was charged $220 for the part + the $150 service call. The technician was professional and the work was done well, but I won't be using this company again due to the extreme mark up on the price of the run capacitor.

They were unable to recreate the issue, so didn't fix it. They told my husband to replace the outlet if it happened again. They went around the outside of the house and found and fixed another problem, for a $9.20 part, which was appreciated. When they left, we had the original problem again and again. Called them to come back since they had only been there for 10 minutes of the hour we paid for, but they refused, saying we paid for 1 service call. So my husband replaced the outlet. Efficient AC & Electrical did what they could on the visit. They were prompt, efficient, and friendly. I felt they should have come back to fix the original problem when asked, when they were in our neighborhood again, since we had only used 10 of 60 minutes paid for. I'm rating them a B overall and for price and quality for this reason - they did not fix the problem (they could have replaced the outlet anyway even though they didn't experience the problem) and wouldn't come back. I felt we paid too much for what the 10 minutes they were here. However, I would call them again and pay normal, non-Angie's list deal charges, for future work. They were very good.
