Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing

The technician was awesome, found the problem and put in a new capacitor.

Efficient was the most impressive of four Air Conditioning/HVAC companies I met with. Darwin was incredibly helpful and took the time to educate me about what all the different parts of the HVAC system are and how they work to keep our house cool and comfortable. Our old condensate drain line had been installed poorly when the house was built back in 1992 and the former owners caused further damage to it by using bleach, rather than vinegar to prevent build up of algae in the line. Efficient was the only company to provide multiple solutions to the problem for us to choose from (other companies either said there was nothing they could do or only offered one option) at no extra cost. The work was done well and we are incredibly happy with our new HVAC system. Ramon filed the rebates for us with Austin Energy and would have registered the products with Carrier for us, but I did it myself immediately after installation. Thanks to being an Angie's List customer we have 10 year labor warranty with Efficient and with the 10 year parts warranty with Carrier we are in a good place should anything break or need repaired on our system. We are so pleased with Efficient we have used them for electrical work around our house too.

I called and within 2 hours the tech arrived. He rapidly diagnosed a bad capacitor and replaced it. The upstairs is cool again.

Excellent beginning to end. Jeff Schreiber called ahead and told me what time he would arrive & did so. He was very polite and explained what he was going to do and what kind of access he would need to do the job. He answered all questions I had thoroughly. Jeff found a problem and showed me what it was - it involved something that a previous owner had done that was not done by a professional and could cause a problem down the line. He did not pressure me to have him fix it, but I did ask him to do so. I was very impressed with his work and his polite, respectful and friendly manner. I was also very happy with my communications with Michelle who set up our appointment from the office.

After 8 days I received an invoice from Efficient Air conditioning & Electric, their estimated quote AC unit will cost $1933. So we pay $99 for get a estimated quote that we cannot even close to compare with other companies. I am not sure I should trust Angie’s list anymore.

Excellent results for requested services. Jeff arrived on time for a re-scheduled appointment. He was courteous, professional, and thorough in the conduct of his inspection and cleaning of this heat pump HVAC system. He explained his inspection findings clearly and offered suggestions for continued reliable performance of the HVAC system. I have used this company before and I will hire them again for any needed HVAC services.

From the initial phone call through scheduling and repairs, they were were very professional and friendly. Got the job completed efficiently. We will definitely use them again.

I don't remember having any trouble with them. Estimate was pretty detailed, it had installation. I had some duct work done, too it had all that in it. It had everything in it that it needed. I called and they came out. They came on time.

Electrician called in advance, arrived on time and completed work very quickly. The work was completed and very professionally done.

They came out, gave me quote for the part needed. Went with the company that had originally installed the AC unit since part was still under warranty.

Great experience from the scheduling to the work. Cody was awesome. I had paid for 2 hours of electrical work. He showed up on time. I had purchased the wrong type of fan for what I wanted in one room and Cody took the time to explain what I needed to achieve my goal. On the second ceiling fan, the issue was flickering lights. Cody checked it out and said that I'd be better off (and safer) to purchase a new fan as the existing one was old and the sockets were breaking down. I explained that I had only paid for 2 hours and would waste more of that going to get the right fans. He offered to consider this service call as a consultation and would reschedule the 2 hour window I had paid for. He came back a week later and installed both ceiling fans within the 2 hour window. He was efficient, professional, and personable. A great experience due to Cody! Will hire again!

Cody was awesome. He came in determined he couldn't put an outlet where I originally wanted, but looked around and came up with alternative options for me. He was neat, organized, and worked quickly. He noticed that the outlet was near pipes, and warned me (I was going to mount the stick vac in that spot), so he likely saved me a lot of hassle. I'm thinking of getting a light fixture put into my bathroom next, and I will easily reuse this vendor again.

Although they were swamped they made time for me and always kept in me in the loop. Prompt, punctual, honest, got the work done with no surprises.

Efficient A/C and Electric provided our family with outstanding repair and service. One of their HVAC Techs, Mr. Ernest Rodriguez, provided the best customer service I have seen in Round Rock. Mr. Rodriguez was very polite and professional, taking the time to explain what our issues were and how they could be repaired. He did so in a timely manner and Efficient A/C and Electric had excellent rates for the service provided. I recommend this company to any family and be sure to ask for Mr. Ernest Rodriguez.

Efficient was just as their name describes. Their phone agent was knowledgeable and friendly and easy to understand. The technician was on time the day of the tune up and worked quickly.

Every contact with an employee of Efficient was outstanding. They were on time, knowledgeable, professional and cared about my issue. From the in home sales meeting, to the installation (including another person who came to check their work!), to registering my products and following up to see if I was happy - they exceeded every expectation.

The technician was very professional and courteous. Also very knowledgeable and shared with me what he was doing. I had this company back at a later date when my air conditioner had an issue and they were there same day to fix the issue. Would gladly recommend.

It went very well. We are pleased with the service that they have preformed.

I called Efficient A/C in the morning. They were able to send a technician straight away. They identified the refrigerant leak was in the coils. Coils from my OEM were no longer available, they hustled to find another set that would work. They were professional, took extra care not to track in dirt, installed the new coils, hauled off the old coils and left everything nice and neat. I had cold A/C that very evening. Great job.

He had everything figured out in about 45 min. We've since replaced the fixtures/switches per his recommendation and all is well.
