This man owns an inspection service under another business name and this extermination business under this name. I used him for both services to inspect my home prior to purchasing in 2007. He did find a carpenter ant nest at the inspection but failed to find numerous other severe problems in the home including 15 feet of wood rot at the foundation level under the house, which also contained carpenter ants. The total damages that he 'overlooked' were in excess of $40,000. These issues were discovered after the purchase of the home, and he was asked to return to the house to review the issues in the presence of my realtor. He said he must have been 'distracted' but did not offer any refund of the inspection or any other amendments. I later found out that he had been suspended as a home inspector, which was something he lied to me about. I hired a lawyer and went through with a mediation but he claimed to be broke. His only concession was to offer a refund of my inspection fees (roughly $350). This man is the reason I joined Angie's List - so I would never end up hiring someone like him again.
