Eco Air Conditioning

Great! We purchased a 20 yr old home with the original HVAC system. We decided to get it replaced before it went out during the hot summer months of TX. We were quoted a great price and had it replaced (they wore masks, very pleasant to deal with). Waited to see how it worked before writing a review. Works great! Now going into our winter months now with a consistent heating system.

Having no A/C at the start of summer in Texas can be a drag. I'm very thorough in choosing a vendor for anything, and my system needed a full replacement. Look no further than Eco Air, as I've already saved you the time and research. I received four estimates and Eco Air put forth the most value at the best price. My condenser was on the roof, which made this job a challenge (some other companies wouldn't even take my business because of this), but Eco Air had a truck crane there in less than 2 days and was unfazed by the complexity. Eco Air was on time, thorough, and efficient. They even installed a brand new programmable thermostat, which was icing on the cake! Once the new HVAC system was installed, I was concerned about it performing as it should. Eco Air came back out to make sure everything was dialed in properly. All in all, Eco Air Conditioning checked all the professional boxes for HVAC service in the Austin area.

Joe was very quick to respond to my inquiry, and was actually able to solve my problem over email, basically immediately. I will definitely look to this company for future needs.

Required extra visits due to difficulty with installation [terrain, tight attic space] Unit is working as advertised, top-of-the line with high SEER. Installer did good job of educating homeowner how to best use features of system and has been responsive to requests to change out thermostat

Service was absolutely superb and installation smooth. I'm switching to Eco AC from CASA Mechanical partly because Eco is available to perform service on the weekends (which is the only time I have available). And I've been with CASA for 9 years (CASA is closed on weekends.) Joe and his staff are phenomenal. Communication is great. I can call, email, or text and get a response very quickly (under 24 hours). They're a small, local business which only makes me want to support them more. They work hard, try to be as green as possible, are super helpful and friendly. Replacing the AC unit requires online registration for the 10 year warranty (and they give a 1 year warranty on labor). To my surprise (and delight), Joe registered our new unit for us. We received email confirmation later. Cannot say enough good things about Eco AC. Thank you Joe and your team!

On time and professional

The actual job went very smoothly. The technician also taught us how to replace filters on our own, so we wouldn't have to pay someone to do it anymore. We called them again for a second time when we had a drainage problem. They came within hours. The problem was actually a plumbing problem; we were not charged anything for the service call since they didn't do anything. Most people would charge a minimum fee for that. Good, honest work!

Last year a coil needed to be replaced and another company misidentified the issue first. Eco came out and fixed it quickly. This week, I thought I had an issue with my overflow pan and Eco came out immediately to look at it. He returned my call and said he could be out within the hour! Turns out it wasn’t even AC related but they are so kind to come out, look it over, and run tests to completely eliminate the AC concerns I had. It’s not always easy to find repair companies you trust, but Eco is definitely someone you can trust and feel confident in. I highly recommend this company to anyone with AC issues.

Joe and his team are great. Frank performed a diagnostic on my HVAC because it was acting a little funky. He spent a lot of time carefully looking over the system and making small adjustments to ensure everything was running just right. I felt like he really cared about getting into the nitty gritty and making sure the system was in great working condition. Frank was super friendly and helpful. The diagnostic was very affordable and they were able to get me on the schedule right away. Joe really understands that an HVAC issue in Austin, Texas is a freakin emergency and he does everything to get his customers taken care of ASAP, which is a BIG deal now that Summer Is Coming... Highly recommend these guys!!
