Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Texas

We have had several professionals come try to fix our clogged dryer vent, but couldn't get it fixed. Dryer Vent Wizard did a thorough inspection of the entire vent, taking pictures of it in the attic as well as inside the actual vent pipe. He then went on the roof (a VERY steep roof!) and looked at the vent cover. That's when he found that the vent cover was stuck closed on one side. He thoroughly cleaned the vents and fixed the cover. Our dryer now works wonderfully! He was extremely knowledgable, thorough and professional. I HIGHLY recommend using this company!

He came right in time. He was very professional. Our dryer line was not very straight and it went over the garage attic and after a long pipe with multiple bends it went outside. He spent long time on garage attic and cleaned all the parts. He did a very thorough job. We are very happy with his work and will hire him again.

Everything went well from start to finish. My house is only a couple years old, but I wanted the builders work check out by an independent person. The technician was very professional and didn't try to up-sell me anything. He noticed low air flow and saw that the transition was crushed when the painters moved the dryer. He replaced that piece and the air flow was immediately improved. There wasn't much that actually needed cleaning, but I learned a lot.

Excellent, other than the fact that 2 days after the service my roof cover came off. It may been damaged somehow during the cleaning and after some wind it blew off. It was originally attached to the roof and may have been broken by the cleaning process. It took me 4 sheet metal screws and some caulk to fix.

The service they provided went fine. They did what they said they were gonna do, there’s no problem.

Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Texas was fine. He was really nice. It was the owner himself who does it. He's very pleasant to deal with. I don't think he tries to rip you off. The guy who sets his appointment up was not very nice. The time he came wasn't really time I wanted him to come but I think it was just miscommunication.

We knew we needed someone to look at our dryer venting system because there was a break in it in the attic and lint was all over our insulation. We'd also had slower and slower drying times recently, so we bought the coupon on Angie's list and then called to make an appointment. Bob came out on time, listened to our problems, took a very thorough look around and gave us an estimate and a list of how to fix the problems we had. Everything was reasonable and in line with what we anticipated to spend on this kind of repair. The only thing he wasn't prepared to do was clean the lint out of the insulation (and who could blame him!) The repair took longer than even he expected but that didn't make the cost go up at all! The dryer is working so much better now and I feel safer. Thanks Bob.

Excellent work. The vent was cleared of all accumulated lint and debris. The dryer was noticeably drying better after the service. He recommended performing this cleaning every other year, and I will most certainly use this company again.

Bob Bryfogle arrived on time and went right to work after explaining what he would do. He was fast and efficient. We don't know his price because our landlord called him in response to a problem with the dryer. He cleaned the vent and got everything working again. He is very skilled and was able to do not just a cleaning but a repair. My only issue was that our dryer has a feature where it will buzz, resume tumbling, buzz again, and repeat this a couple more times so you have a few chances to get the clothes out before they stop tumbling and sit there acquiring wrinkles. Somehow he reset this feature so now it only buzzes once. I didn't have time to call him to come back, and we have gotten used to it now and prefer the fewer buzzes situation. Still we think he should have left it the way he found it. Otherwise he was great and gave several discount coupons for the future. We will ask our landlord to call him annually in hopes of preventing further problems as well as the fires sometimes caused by excess dyer lint.

He was very honest and efficient. We just bought our home and found out that there were a lot of vent and hose problems. We were able to fix everything in a very cost efficient way

I contacted Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Texas and explained I could not use my dryer until they could perform the cleaning service. They came out promptly. Bob inspected my clothes dryer screen, transition duct, wall duct, duct work in my attic and the vent cap that was on top of my roof. He measured the air speed at the rooftop exit and took photos of the cap and inside the attic. He went over his findings and reviewed the photos with me. He used his vac and cleaning tools inside my utility room because the roof cap did not allow room for the tool to go through and the roof's pitch was too steep to work safely on. He cleaned the duct and bagged all of the lint that came out of the clogged vent duct. He retested the airflow which was improved. He installed a recommended transition duct with better flame resistance and better quality clamps to keep the new duct work attached properly. He left my utility room just as clean as when he arrived and even leveled my dryer to try to fix a squeak. He was clean and friendly, he kept me informed as he worked and I was pleased with the results. Be aware that this is about a 3 hour job and there are extra charges if he has to use a ladder to access the vent cap and to replace the flexible duct. The extra charge for ladder use is in the fine print of the Angie's List offer, but it's at the end of the fine print and I had only read through three quarters of that stuff.

Bob performed an excellent job. He called to let me exact time of arrival. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. After inspection, he went over all findings and recommendations. He reviewed what was completed at end of the job and was he recommends in the future. Very friendly and professional. Already recommended him to friends.

The service was unexcelled in its thoroughness. Bob is very meticulous, professional, and personable. He significantly increased the airflow of the dryer and the effective heat of the unit. He cleaned the area thoroughly after finishing his work. He did not try to sell me things that I did not need. Bob spent three hours on this job and made sure that everything was perfect before he left. I have never had better service.

d tdThe experience was excellent. Mr. Bryfogle is very courteous and professional. After his initial inspection, he informed me that the vent cover originally installed in the house when it was built (1999) was not allowing the lint to escape. Therefore, the dryer vent tubing was clogged with lint. I expected to hear this because my dryer's efficiency has been poor. He provided me with drawings and photographs of what everything looked like and what it should look like after he had completed his work. I was very satisfied with the work. I used an Angie's List Big Deal for this service.

Everything went well and my dryer vent was cleaned as expected. I'm no longer worried about the fire hazard that a dirty dryer vent can cause.

While getting a home energy audit done, the tech noticed a potential fire hazard in my attic. The cut in the roof the dryer vent protruded thru was square and the vent is round, so lint had fallen back down and accumulated. I called Dryer Vent Wizard and Bob came out quickly and assessed the situation. He is very professional and I got quite an education about air flow and vents. He did his analysis and I had the vent cleaned, washer hoses replaced, seam resealed and he repaired the square opening with expanding foam to seal it. He also noticed the roof cap was misaligned causing reduced out-take of lint and fixed that, too. He is a pleasure to work with and extremely thorough. I highly recommend Dryer Vent Wizard.

My dryer went out earlier in the week and I wound up contacting Ric at All American Appliance Repair for help. Ric quickly got my dryer back in order and strongly recommended (several times) that I get the dryer vent cleaned out ASAP, because it helped cause the component burn out. Angies List soon came out with a promotion from Dryer Vent Wizard which I bought. Got ahold of Bob at D V Wizard who came out and went completely through the vent process- starting from the roof down to the machine itself, removing a huge deposit of lint. The dryer temperature increased and, please understand, that the drying time was cut in less than half! This process didn't cost me anything to have done due to the power savings alone. Bob was the epitome of what one loves to see in a service technician -- prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, no-pressure, excellent workmanship; he left the area clean, and really went over and beyond in my opinion. We have two driers, which is why the price looks high relative to totals in the other reviews here. So price-wise, it was all in line, and well worth it. Our venting was a mess -- not done well originally, and in disrepair. Now it looks like something one would expect to see in a how-to tutorial. Bob suggested replacing the exterior vents on account of their worn condition, and when I said I'd rather try to just clean them first, and revisit this later if needed, he didn't give me any pressure to sell me more stuff. In fact, the whole experience was something that should be put in a how-to tutorial.

Very responsive and consciencious. Knew more about his business than most people know about their own. Highly skilled and committed to doing good work. I called and explained the situation to him. He called before to confirm, then called before he came. Showed up promptly. Examined systems thoroughly and secured the hose that was such a problem. Cleaned and inspected dryer vent inside and out; checked to make sure that 'varmints' couldn't invade through outlet. Inspected and recommended replacement of washer hoses and replaced them with much higher quality parts. He explained everything in almost excruciating detail. So far the dryer hose to vent has not come loose. I'm hoping he fixed it for good. We'll see, time will tell.
