DOWN TO EARTH LANDSCAPE SERVICES

I contracting Scott to repair my sprinklers. He asked for 3/4 of the money up front. I fell for his hard luck story of needing money to pay a bill. What did I get for $250? One sprinkler head. He torn up the front of my yard. I never heard from him again. I will be filing a small claims account in the morning. Stay away from this vendor. You will be ripped off. I'm 65 and unemployed. Scott told me he was a good Christian man. He is a scam artist. I'm sick to my stomach. Devastated at the events. DO NOT HIRE Down to Earth Landscaping Services. He says he lives in Colorado Crossing off of 183 and McKinny Falls Road. This is a lie!

Wonderfully. The crew was punctual, listened to our needs and did excellent work. The sod they laid was gorgeous! I highly recommend them.

Very accommodating and professional, Jim and his crew arrived on time and kept to their schedule. They also made sure to clean up at the end of each day. Jim is honest and kept to his word.

Brock Lawson gave me a reasonable bid, handled all the permitting work with the city, and provided me with drawings of the project. The work was completed promptly, in the time frame specified, and in a professional manner. As I was also having additional gutters installed to take away excess moisture, he referred me to an excellent gutter company whom I also hired and with whose work I was very pleased.

He was finished before we knew it. Very good.

Overall it took some time for the contracters to come out to look at our property once they had a copy of the landscape plan. They were both ill during that time with a virus that was sweeping the country.

Brock met me at my home and was on time and very professional. I am writing this review because Brock immediately realized that he wouldn't be able to help me with my project as it wasn't his particular area of expertise BUT, he spent 20+ minutes talking to me about what he thought could work in my back yard and then offered some suggestions for me to think about. His input was invaluable and I really appreciated his time and sincere interest in my project. Even though there was nothing in it for him, he still offered his professional opinion and didn't rush off once we realized the services wouldn't match up :o)

I contacted this vendor for back yard irrigation and requested a quote, despite a few follow up calls, this company never followed through. No idea if the quality of work is good or not, since we ended up using a company that provided a bid and returned calls. IIt's fine with me if they don't want the business, but I would have appreciated them just telling me that up front instead of acting like they were going to submit a bid.

I can't stress enough how great a job this company did. They were always on time and cleaned up before leaving each day. Their quality of work is on display everyday and we couldn't enjoy our outdoor living space more! Our neighbors have nothing but great things to say about our yard. We had 3 different companies bid on our project and Brock was very competitive on pricing. His years of experience were apparent in his approach and execution. If you are in the market for landscaping services at least give them a call for a bid. You won't regret it.

I am overjoyed with my experience with Brock and his staff! First of all, Brock returns your call. Second, he quickly turns around a written quote within a reasonable timeframe. Lastly, he gets the job done in the timeframe he says he will. He and I met a few times and negotiated the layout and price a few times before coming to a written agreement. While other contractors focused on pouring a boring rectangular-shaped pad, Brock took his time and helped me determine a layout that would ensure that we would find the space pleasing to the eye while tying in some other existing elements in the yard. His experience and eye for detail gave us a space that looks well planned and finished and at a price that was much lower than other contractors (and those quotes were for smaller, rectangular-shaped patios!) I would never have been as creative as he was with the space...I feel so fortunate to have benefited from his experience and passion for what he does! Brock maintained excellent communication with me throughout the process and he regularly visited the site to ensure his team was on track and moving along as planned. I can see why most contractors avoid curves in concrete...forming it was a painstaking process for his team. I must tip my hat to these guys, it's not for the faint of heart nor the inexperienced. What resulted was a beautiful space that my family is really enjoying and at a price that was fair. I look forward to working with him on the next phase of our backyard transformation! Hire Brock and his team if you want: 1) The benefit of the knowledge and wisdom of someone who truly knows and cares about his work. 2) someone who is responsive and thorough. 3) a price that others don't even come close to. 4) quality materials and work - they were meticulous in their work and used rebar before pouring. 4) a trusted professional.

Good quality, professionalism, very good cleanup of work site after completion, could improve in terms of responsiveness to phone messages but the quality of workmanship and professionalism redeemed the communication delays.

I first called Brock in June. We were very perplexed about what to do with the front yard. We'd recently had an arborist dig deep holes around 5 of our native live oak trees to show us that they were buried too deep and without action we'd lost the trees. The builder, while doing the "landscaping" for the house, covered the lots existing trees in up to 18" of dirt. Brock came out, took a look at our yard and listened to our questions/suggestions. The 11 or so native live oak trees in the front yard are so beautiful, we wanted to do something to keep them healthy

If I could give them better than an "A" rating, I would! Brock is great to work with, very quick, responsive, knowledgeable and professional. I wish I could use his services for everything I need done at my house to renovate it! I can't recommend anybody better than him to work with. He listens well and has a great aesthetic for helping to make our property functional and beautiful.

We basically got nothing for the consultation. We were referred to two other people for more advice (at additional costs) and never received an estimate for the work that we were requesting. It was a complete waste of time and money.

The service was good because the system was installed correctly. However, I could not communicate with the workers very well because there was a language barrier. Their boss had perfect English though so I had no trouble understanding him when he was explaining to me about the installation. I would have been a lot happier with the work performed if they left my lawn flat, but instead, there were lots of bumps.
