DIXIE CARPET INSTALLATIONS INC

We asked them to lay the new carpet on a Tuesday. They arrived on Thursday and completed the work the same day. When we went to check on the apartment that evening, we noticed that the padding in the bedroom was thinner than the padding in the rest of the apartment. We called the company first thing the next morning and asked them to finish the job and let them know that we knew about the thinner padding in the bedroom. They informed us that they would return and fix the problem. They were informed that we needed it done ASAP but we never heard back from them with an ETA. It was not until we called them the following week to come and replace the padding that we finally saw them again. The man that did the work reported that the thinner padding in the bedroom was the old padding and was probably the cause of the overwhelming smoke odor in the apartment. He replaced it and laid down new padding of equal depth but left a streak of carpet glue on the bedroom wall.
