This was our first home purchase and we were unsure of what to expect. Dbl Check came out, on time, and performed the most thorough home inspection so we would know exactly what we were buying. They really put us at ease and informed us of great details. The report was ready the same day and came complete with pictures. Because of the timely service and the detail of the inspection, we had all the information we needed to make an informed decision about purchasing the house. Our realtor said that this was the most comprehensive and professional home inspection he had ever seen and he would recommend Dbl Check to his clients. We were very pleased with the service we received.

He was very good. They were very responsive, very detailed oriented, very cooperative and very helpful. He made sure I got everything that I needed and that I understood it. He followed up to confirm. I didn't have a lot to compare the prices to.

My husband and I were impressed with Dbl Check the minute Aaron arrived to complete our first home inspection. He is prompt, professional and incredibly thorough. His reports include very detailed descriptions of any and all issues with photos and explanations, which helped us out so much as first time homebuyers! I had a very good experience with DBL Check doing my home inspection for the home I did eventually purchase. Making an appointment was easy and the process went smoothly from beginning to end. I feel the inspection was really thorough and gave me the information I needed to know regarding what I was getting into with an older house so I was able make an informed decision. We were buying our first house and it was a very busy time (summer) so we looked to Angie's list for a Home Inspection Recommendation. Aaron scheduled a time w/ us came out and did a thorough job and gave us a full report of what was okay and what needed to be updated immediately or what we could hold off on.

Excellent. I am very hard to please, but it was very good.

Overall, Aaron was outstanding. I was able to reserve a date and time on the website which was very convenient. After making the appointment, Aaron called me a couple of times to see if I had any questions before the date. On the day of the inspection Aaron called me to tell me he would be a couple of minutes late due to traffic. He still showed up at the exact time he said he was going to. Aaron did a very good inspection and was very professional and thorough and pointed out some small stuff to me while going through the house. I got the report later that evening around 9 or 10 PM I believe which was easy straightforward and easy to read with pictures and everything. The inspection was well worth the money and I would highly recommend Aaron to anyone looking for a home inspection.

It went really well and everything was fine.

We do not live in Austin, and were unable attend the inspection with Aaron; he provided detailed photos and descriptions, and helped us with all of our questions over the phone and over email. He helped us understand what was cosmetic and what was important, what could wait and what was critical. Most critically, he helped us understand why the siding used on this house (masonite), once it starts bubbling, needs to be replaced sooner rather than later; and he identified a problematic AC unit. He saved us a lot of money. Aaron was very thorough; had we been able to come to an agreement on siding replacement, his 28-page inspection report would have been our checklist for future repairs on this home. We'll definitely be calling Aaron for future inspections.

Aaron was fantastic. Super easy to work with. Showed up exactly when promised and finished early. I met him at lunch to review the results and he walked me through every detail of the inspection. Aaron was very prompt and arrived before time. He inspected the entire house and walked us through every area of inspection. He explained in detail both the positive aspects of the house and concern areas. His email report arrived to us much before his committed time. The report had pointers and detailed description, clear and covered all areas. He also did thermal imaging as an added bonus and did not charge for it. We were satisfied with his report and we went ahead and closed on the house. He recommended getting a pool specialist and structural engineering specialist for remodeling plans we had - both of which proved valuable. We were very satisfied with his service.

My wife and I used Aaron twice for different inspections. He saved us close to $30,000 in potential repairs on the first home. We used the inspection report to negotiate with the sellers on the second home and that too saved us big money. He's very thorough and he uses equipment that I've never seen used during an inspection (we've had several previously). Over all we were very pleased with his service and would use him again.

Aaron at DBL Check home inspections provided excellent service. The professional staff that set up the appointment was very thorough in finding out my needs and booking my appointment. I was notified by email and text confirming my time and inspector! Aaron arrived on time and completed a very thorough inspection checking for potential problems I never though of. He used a state of the art thermal camera to check for issues the eye cannot detect. Aaron also explained everything he was searching for and spent extra time going over each potential issue that he found so I would fully understand. After the inspection DBL Check provided a very detailed report with photographs of each item listed. He also followed up the report with a phone call to verify that I had received it and if I had any questions about it. This was the second time I have used Aaron for a home inspection. He is thorough, professional and exceptional to work with. Aaron inspected two homes that we were considering buying. He was exceptionally professional and diligent. He kept us out of a real money pit on the first house and gave us the information we needed to negotiate a better price on the second. He found a/c problems that were not disclosed, inspected almost every brick in the exterior, and gave us a complete checklist of needed repairs.

This makes it 8 homes I have had inspected and Aaron's was by far the best. He is so nice and willing to take the time necessary for my wife and myself to understand his findings. He had so much equipment I am surprised he did not name his business Hi Tech Home Inspections. His tools allowed him to check for moisture behind bathroom tile, heat loss at doors and windows and had photos of all repairs needed. He inspected HVAC, pool, deck, electrical, plumbing, foundation, wood trim and pests.
