Description of Work: Before purchasing our new home I hired DBL Check to do an inspection of the property. They were more expensive then any of the other firms but they also did more. |The house was in need of repair and I needed a detailed evaluation of the property to make sure structurally it was sound and there was no got you moments once we moved in. We got a detailed report that went over electrical, insulation, slab etc. |We had no surprises when we moved into the property, and knew where the problem area's were. I would use them again.

Description of Work: DBL Check did a great job. I also had them do a Flow hood test which measures the air flow in the house. They found lots of issues with the air flow. I got the builder to fix it as the house was brand new.

Description of Work: Using state of the art equipment checked every aspect of the exterior and interior of the 2 bed, 2bath condominium. They answered questions, took picture, reported problems and made helpful recommendations.

Description of Work: The inspectors Jason and Allen were on-time, thorough and efficient. Immediately following the inspection, Jason showed and explained their findings verbally and in photographs, via ipad, of areas both accessible and inaccessible (crawl spaces below and above main floor). This immediate report helped me decide to move forward with purchasing the property. I expected to receive the report by e-mail within a day, which was delayed by a second day. Aaron, owner of Double Check, was very responsive in calling me when he saw through phone messages or e-mails that I had any questions. Jason also responded immediately to phone messages to answer all questions. The tight schedule between the offer and closing on this property, 18 days, required sending the inspection report to the owner within the four remaining days of our option to create a contract amendment that included repairs to be paid by the owner and completed before closing. Delay in receiving the report from Double Check was a potential glitch, however the seller agreed to complete immediately needed repairs cited by Double Check. Double Check's inspection, verbal and printed report, and their responsiveness after the inspection was excellent.

Description of Work: DBL check did the home inspection on the house we bought this summer. Aaron came right on time and did a thorough inspection (it took more than 3-hrs for 3700sq.ft. house). He did point few items (lack of roof gutters causing soil erosion around the foudation, a non-functional gas burner, etc) which were helpful in renegotiating the final house price.

Description of Work: I don't know where to start! This Guy is Great he is a AAA plus rating! He also is Military Friendly and gave additional discount without us even asking.Aaron used to have a home remolding business and had great knowledge to share. He also allowed us to pay for both inspections on one bill which help us . He is the Best in the business Thank you so much!

Description of Work: We had a house under contract, so we contacted DBL Check to schedule an inspection. We were very pleased that they could already do the inspection the following day, and the owner called me in the morning for more details. Unfortunately, the seller's agent called us the morning of the inspection and told us that the seller had changed his mind and wanted to back out of the contract. Aaron was very nice and said he completely understood. I will definitely use DBL again when we find our house in Austin, TX.
