They were very professional. Because of rotted wood, the amount of soffit replacement required was much more than expected, and even some of the decking had rotted and was replaced. The additional cost for this work was minimal. Their clean-up was very efficient. We have been very pleased with their work.

I contacted them twice and they said they would come out for a bid but they never showed up. The first time I called, I told them what the issue was and they said they would be out by the end of the week. I called on a Monday and then called again on a Friday because I had not heard anything. They said they misplaced my file and would get out the next week but they did not come in the next week either. I would say their professionalism was very low.

Our AC went out and we contacted a few vendors for quotes on a new replacement. Out of all of the companies we spoke to Dayton Contracting had the best price and service. We were very happy with all aspects of the process and will use them this Spring to replace our unit.

Everything worked out excellent. Work started as planned and took about how much time had been estimated. A small shed had serious roof repair requirements and the employees had to go buy additional materials but, they were very efficient to resolve the problem.

All phases progressed smoothly. Communication concerning each phase was excellent. This was a large and complicated project. Dayton did an excellent job with a very difficult problem.

Went great! I called and got a hold of someone right away. He said they were booked up for that week but would give me a call the next week when they had time to squeeze us in. He called one morning next week and set up a time later that day - they were prompt and did the work well. It was a minor job for them but it was just beyond our DIY comfort level so we were glad to find someone to do it.

In one day, Shane was able to fix the roofs on two houses on our property. We thought his estimate was fair, and he did the work quickly and well. we were very happy with the experience.

Dayton Contracting did a great job. Shane was very professional and was there when he said he would be. He offered suggestions for getting the most for my money, and worked with me on the insurance claim for the roof. He also fixed the rotted fascia boards and cleaned up everything before they left. I have very picky tenants in that property, and they were happy also.

It went well actually. I had some confusion as to how the process worked with my insurance company and he was very helpful with that. He did the work when he said he would and was easy to work with. He was careful to pick up all the extra materials that fell from the roof. He helped me pick out the color of the roof which I was glad he did. I would have picked one that would not have been a good choice. There was one peculiar hitch in his generally good work and that was at the end of the job I asked him to fix some flashing that was crooked and also to caulk a small hole in the siding where he had done some work. Neither of these were done. In general I liked working with him because he does good work and I would use him again if I need to.

The work was done quickly and well.

I spoke to Shane at the office, who told me he'd have to get back to me to tell me when he could come. The next day, while I was busy with other things, he just showed up - not at a good time for me. No phone call first. No appointment. But I needed the roof, so... I showed him the job. He took some measurements and discussed some options, then said he'd send my estimate by email probably the next day. I am writing this on June 12 - and I still have not heard back from him. I did find someone else meanwhile - and I have a beautiful new roof on the shed. I couldn't be happier - but not with Dayton Contracting. There is no excuse for this kind of rudeness and unprofessionalism from a contractor.

I chose Dayton Contracting based on a friend's recommendation, good reviews, and a nice initial conversation with the owner. ?They did not let me down. ?The whole experience was first-rate. ?The price was fair and the workmanship was top-notch. ?They went above and beyond my expectations. ?I have been telling my friends to use these guys.....they are that good.

I will recommend Mr Dayton and his crew to anybody.

I contacted Dayton Contracting and was surprised to have someone answer the phone rather than having to leave a message. Shane spent about 20 minutes on the phone as I described the scope of work I needed. He was busy with a couple of other jobs but said he would call me in three days to set up an appointment. True to his word, he called three days later and set a time to come by and survey the work to be done. He arrived for the estimate at the designated time. I had many questions which he answered as we walked around for him to survey the work to be performed. Since Shane was the first contractor to come out, I had many questions about optional work. Shane took the time to explain his thoughts on how the work should be approached and what needed to be done as opposed to what might be nice to have done. He was extremely helpful and freely shared his knowledge and experience. I had three estimates for my work. I finally chose a different company for my work but would not have gone wrong in choosing Dayton Contracting. Shane's estimate was the highest of the three I received by a few percent. In the end, it was not cost that led to my decision to use another company, though. It came down to some extra services the other company offered in their bid. Although I did not use Dayton Contracting for this job, I would definitely consider them for other work to be done in the future and will highly recommend Shane to my friends needing to have similar work performed.

They came out when they said they would and did a nice job. I'm very pleased.

I called Shane and explained that an inspection report said that we needed a new roof. I asked Shane to come out the next day and look at the roof. He volunteered to come immediately. He inspected the roof and said there were minor repairs that needed to be made but we didn't need a new roof. He wrote an estimate for the repairs and saved us $10,000.00. I believe Shane and his company are the best roofers in Austin. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his company.

Didn't get an estimate from him, pretty unprofessional, if the job was too small he could have let us know so we wouldn't have had to wait to get an estimate from him.

WE had a bad wind storm and lost some shingles I called the next morning and they answered the phone right away, I didnt have to leave a message like with some of the other companies I called. He came the next day as planned gave me a fair price and also emailed me a quote for my records as well as having his insurance company email me proof of liability ins per my request. The job was done to our satisfaction and we were very have with the results as well as the professional way it was handled.

He was prompt and had great communication. Guys were friendly, quick and fair. Didn't get the run around and he was upfront about everything. I'm actually going to use him again.

Dayton was very professional and punctual. The work was finished on time and perfomed to my satisfaction, for the same price estimated at the outset.

Contractor was able to start the job before his original estimate date. Work crews were on the job between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Work crews were very professional and left work site clean and orderly each day. Work was completed within a week, which included a 2 day holiday.

It went fine. He was friendly and professional on the phone. Showed up when he said he would and was quick to get me an estimate.
