Shane and his crew did outstanding work. I had him and another firm examine the work needed. Shane had the best solution, was patient with all my questions, and his expertise, judgement, and responsiveness put me at ease. Shane could have easily taken advantage of me, but he was all integrity. Shane's crew did quality work, I'm not seeing any shortcut's taken, they were diligent, and polite. Shane was there regular to check on them, and at the end to make sure it was done very well. Shane is a very friendly, positive, polite person, and someone you can trust. I certainly did and we are really happy with his work. I recommend Shane for your projects, without question.

In the midst of the recent rains, we experienced a roof leak that needed immediate attention. I contacted Shane and he contacted me within 30 minutes. He was able to meet us at our house on the same day. He identified the problem and solutions quickly providing a few options. I received Shane's estimate via email and scheduled the service for then next day. His crew arrived on time and were polite and professional. When they left the work area was cleaned and as they found it when the arrived. It rained the next day (a lot) and our problem was fixed! Great experience with Shane and his crew. If I experience another roof problem - my first call will be to Shane!

Shane came at the tail end of a long, drawn-out, bad experience with another roofer. Shane was responsive, professional and his roofers got the work down quickly and neatly. That is all within the realm of what you'd expect of a good roof contractor. The surprising part was how helpful Shane was at the beginning, when the likelihood was that I would try to get my roofing problem addressed by the roofer I had already paid. Shane explained to me and documented what had not been done properly so I could try to get the old roofer to fix it. I remodel houses for a living and I have never had this experience.

I am hard to please and pretty skeptical by nature, so Shane seemed too good to be true. He answered my call the first time from the roof of a house and then was over at our house within a day or two, even though we were deluged with heavy rain for days. He talked to me at length about what the problem was (a poor flashing job and poorly constructed cricket) and had his guys out to repair the roof and construct a new, better cricket within a few days. After some heavy rain today, it definitely appears the leak is gone. While Shane impressed me greatly with his professionalism and expertise, he really is a good-natured and genuinely humble guy. You can't help but really like the guy after the first meeting. Hands down, one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time.

They came and found the problem with the roof and had the most comprehensive solution to our problem. They also spotted a small problem we had that we did not mention and offered to fix that as well. They were also able to repair the wood on our chimney that was rotting and fixed some vents. They did a fabulous job and had it all done in one day. Our roof looks great and has finally stopped leaking!

Shane was very responsive to a leak that we had coming out on a days notice and made the repairs needed.

Dayton Contracting came to make the repair on my leaky roof when no one else would come out. Austin was In the midst of major rainy weather and I had to get my roof repaired immediately. Several roofing companies came out to look at the problem and give estimates, but NO ONE could make the repair right away. Except, of course, for Dayton Contracting. They realized the seriousness and immediacy of the problem, and rearranged their schedule to come out the next day. Dayton Contracting completed the job quickly and efficiently; they were professional, but congenial. I enjoyed working with them; so much so that I am considering them to finish the repairs that are needed on the roof -- weather permitting!

The job was done in 5 days as promised. The crew showed up at 8 am every day and worked until around 6 pm. They were all very nice and professional. They cleaned up at the end of every day and blew the deck clean. We couldn't be happier with their work. I feel very confident that our leaking days are over as I can't imagine anything else they could have done. Very, very pleased with their work!

I contacted Shane Dayton today to ask for a consultation for a roof on a home I am considering purchasing. I needed someone right away and was not having any luck in contacting other roofers. Mr. Dayton answered his phone and listened to my questions and then thoughtfully responded. Although he said he was finishing up for the day, he drove to the other end of town to look at the roof. Mr. Dayton took the time to explain everything to me including options for repair or replacement. He was professional, responsive, and very nice.

The work began with a very fast response from the owner for an estimate, and then the work went forward soon after acceptance of the proposal. The workers were diligent, capable, and worked long hours over the course of two days completing the work. When things weren't quite right, the owner returned to set things in good order the next day. I am completely satisfied with the work.

Due to the recent storms, our roof got damaged. We contacted Dayton, along with several other contractors to get a wide range of bids for the job. Dayton matched the estimate given by our insurance company, and came in with a great price to upgrade dimensional shingles. Shane did a great job, we are very happy with the result and would highly recommend him.

I had an urgent need to seal a leak after a major storm since I was in the process of selling the house. He said he would call me back in a few days. He called back exactly when he said he would. He showed up and immediately spotted the problem. It was fixed on the spot. I would definitely use for any roofing needs I have in the future!

Shane was professional and my husband thought he was very knowledgeable. He checked on the job several times and made additional recommendations which we did. Due to all the rain Austin was experiencing and trying to balance his workload, it did take a few weeks for the job to start but he did come and put a tarp on the roof to prevent future leaks till he could fix the problem.

Not a very personable guy, and his guys left mortar all over bricks and patio. He charges an arm and a leg. Too proud of his work.

He was really good. Whatever he tell me that was going to happen throughout the process it happened and he tell me he is going to be here they were here. They are a great company. I would recommend them to anybody. The workers were great.

Perfect! Great bid, professional owner who checked on job and his staff often. Professional, experienced staff who were punctual, polite, implemented all aspects of the project and cleaned up every day. My neighbors were also delighted with the crew who were very cognizant of the debris that may have flown into their yard. They made sure everything was cleaned up. The owner took the time to take pictures of my roof to show me current state and what his plan was. He also took the time to explain to me what he was going to do and when the materials arrived showed me what those materials were and how they were being used. I appreciated the educational aspect of this project! This company has taken care of 3 roofs in my neighborhood and we all have been very pleased.

I have use Dayton previously and Shane Dayton is responsive, fully explains what he feels is required, gives a reasonable price for the work and has very good workmen. The work took 3 days and clean up was done at the end of each day. The foreman was responsive to questions and comments. Shane and his workers definitely give their best and will use again in the future.

Call Shane on Wednesday morning, he called back and came by the same day. I explained the issue to him, and we both climbed on my patio roof to look around. He immediately noticed some flashing that had come up and some nails that had come out, and said that was probably a majority of the leaking I saw the night before in the torrential rain. He also provided a bid on how the roof should be permanently repaired, and I agreed with his assessment, however I wasn't ready to pull the trigger on that amount of money quite yet. Fearing for another night of heavy rain, I asked him what I could do for now to stop the immediate and substantial leaking. He GAVE me a brand new tube of sealer caulk and a bunch of screws and told me what I could do now to fix a majority of the issue. He didn't have to do any of that, and I would have probably paid him right then to do the small repair just because of the incoming rain. However, when he gave me all the tools I needed to do the quick fix myself he has also earned my future roofing business. It did rain that night, and although there was still some leaking, it was not near as bad as the night before. Thanks Shane!!

Shane did a wonderful job, the work was done quickly and the roof has been good ever since. I will use him in the future and recommend him to friends.

The cost was reasonable. We don't dislike anything. They were very prompt when they came. When we called them, they came pretty quick. We're really well-pleased.

They were really good, they did what nobody else could. They fixed a problem that we had tried to get fixed for a while. They figured out what exactly was wrong and fixed it and it never leaked again. They were really careful with the painting, too. They had the right tools. They knew what they were doing.

Great, Shane was able to get one of his guys to the house around my schedule, and with short notice.
