I have been using DASH for years and can not say enough wonderful things about this family run business. THey are personable, knowledgeable, honest, and go far above and beyond to help. They even came and took care of an air conditioning issue while I was out of the country and I had no worries that it was not going to be done right and quickly.

Excellent. David is knowledgeable, professional and honest. we've used Dash before and we will use them in the future.

I have used this company for almost a decade. He is honest, reliable and doesn't need to sell you anything. He has kept my aged unit running for several years and now it is time to replace the dinosaur. He charges for the service what others charge, but he excels in his customer service. Only once have I felt displeased when the service call was handled by two younger workers. That is once in ten years or annual calls. Still an A in my book.

This was a couple of years ago so things may have changed. I originally gave a more positive review, but then on reflection as I thought this over and also as I gained more experience with a/c systems myself, I realized that the earlier review was not warranted, so this is a re-do. The kid who showed up spent a lot of time on the phone asking his boss what to do and how to do it. He ended up spending the entire day at our house to fix (replace) a faulty controller board. In the process he replaced an expensive, smart-thermostat with a very cheap and basic one, and when that turned out not to be the issue he left the cheap one connected anyway and took the expensive one with him. We had this same controller-board issue a few years before and the person we hired then fixed it in about an hour for a small fraction of what Dash charged. The kid was polite, friendly and behaved professionally, and he was clearly doing his best, but he was out of his depth and as mentioned constantly on the phone asking for help. I hear great things about the owner and service, but the trainee they sent to us took a lot of time and the charge ended up being very high. If you hire them make sure you get an experienced technician.

Arrived promptly. Checked and cleaned drains, checked refrigerant levels and compressor functions and safety switches on two residential air conditioner units. Checked air filters (they did not need changing since they had been very recently changed). Explained results of unit testing. We have used this company previously and have always been satisfied with their service.

That all went well. Eleven days later (June 8), the drain pipe filled up. Dash returned my call that day (Sunday), so I was impressed. The day after, they sent the same technician who did an extra thorough job of blowing out the drain pipe and testing it. That resolved the problem. However, he charged me $100.83. I am very disappointed that Dash charged me to fix something that should have been prevented by the pre-season checkup. I mean, why am I paying for a checkup anyway? And why don't they honor the idea that if they didn't do a satisfactory job of the initial checkup (they're only human after all), then the client shouldn't have to pay for any problems they missed? It's too bad; Jeanette is real nice, and the service prior to this has been great. I just don't feel I can trust them to act in my best interests any more.

Our upstairs system failed in August, and David was out quickly to assess the situation, and recommend a replacement. We'd also had an inadequate system of returns and registers upstairs, and David evaluated the issues and recommended additional returns and replacement of the existing register outlets. He was quite knowledgeable and discussed the whys and wherefores for each suggested change. Based on a side discussion about barbecue smoking methods (no charge), I ended up doing a great brisket and ribs! The City inspector spoke well of the installation and noted approvingly that the outside components had been leveled. They also handled all the rebate paperwork for us. There was an immediate improvement in the consistency of temperatures throughout the upstairs, and I recommend talking to David about updates to your vent system if you are replacing the AC unit (or even if you're not replacing it). Had I known the difference it would make, I would have had the vents reworked years ago. I'd tried to get the builder to fix the vents years ago when we built the house, and I have now concluded the builder's contractor didn't really understand ventilation design. David does. I can't evaluate the price as we didn't get a second estimate given the circumstances. The price appeared reasonable based on online searches However, the online reviews were positive, and I moved forward with Dash. I highly recommend Dash.

I found Dash several years ago when our AC went out in the middle of a horrible heat wave and on a Friday no less. They were very responsive and even though they had a full schedule, they worked me in. Other companies were telling me it would be early the next week before they could come out. I was super pleased with the level of service and professionalism of the tech that day and I've relied on them since for all my repair and maintenance. We are now landlords so prompt response is even more important. Such was the case recently when our tenants called to say the AC wasn't cooling. I can always count on them for prompt response, efficiency and reasonable prices. They are a family owned business and take pride in their customer service and ensure that their employees meet their standards.

Extremely well. This was our fourth time using DASH, and we could not be more pleased. The service has been instrumental in our overall AC/heating system continuing to operate well despite being 27 years old. In every case, in spite of much other work pending at the time, the company has provided reasonably quick remedies to our problems and solved the difficulties with dispatch and at quite reasonable cost. This time, our AC fan and the thermostat were still working, but the compressor was no longer operating. The temperature in our house rapidly went up several degrees. Jeanette, dealing with calls for DASH, courteously advised how long it would be before someone could come out and even dealt diplomatically with my growing anxiety about the circumstances while awaiting the technician. An appointment was arranged, and the technician showed up when he was predicted to arrive. Within a few minutes, he had diagnosed the difficulty: one of the compressor caps and the hard start kit had ceased to work. He replaced them with the latest technology for the system, assured that it was now working properly, blew debris out of the condensation hose, washed out the protective metal cover around the compressor, and provided valuable suggestions on how to upgrade our AC system before long, as well as to have a backup unit, at reasonable charges. My wife and I could not be more pleased with DASH, will no doubt use them again, and can highly recommend this company to others with heating and AC needs.

My ac unit was dinged by the riding lawnomower and stopped working. The landlord sent a guy out who wanted to replace parts on the inside of the building. That did not make sense so I called Dash to get their opinion. The Dash guy came out and repaired the loose contacts he found and got us back on cool within minutes. he was professional and pleasant to work with.

The AC stopped working on Sunday (and before that it hadn't been cooling very well) so I called several potential repair companies on Monday morning to ask about availability in the next 24 hours to check out the problem. I guessed it was a refrigerant leak. Jeannette at Dash told me they might be able to get to the house by the end of the day, or at worst it would be Tuesday morning. Jeannette did call me back about 3pm to say that the current job was taking a bit more time than expected and so they would be at the house about 10am on Tuesday. I specifically asked her to define "about 10am" and told her that I was aksing because we were leaving town for a couple of days on Tuesday afternoon so I didn't want the repairman to arrive at 1pm. She said it should be 10am and definitely would be no later than 11am. Well, 11am came and went. I finally called her at noon and left a message on the answering machine. A few minutes later, I did get a call from the repairman saying he would be at the house within the hour, and the repairman did arrive about 1:30. From there, the repair went reasonably well. It was a bigger repair than I was hoping, but that obviously isn't Dash's fault. The repairman was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable; he diagnosed the problem quickly, and had all the necessary parts in his van. The job took 3 hours. I think the price for the job was fair. Not great, but fair after they applied a 10% senior citizen discount. I was very disappointed that the repair did not start on time, and that I was not called when it became apparent they would be late. After getting a potential Monday afternoon appointment and a definite promise for Tuesday morning (and due to the good ratings here on Angie's List), I told two other companies when they returned my call that I had already resolved my problem. As a result, instead of starting my travel by early Tuesday afternoon, I wasn't able to leave until 5pm so of course I had to deal with the rush-hour traffic, turning a 5-hour drive into 6 hours plus a dinner stop. I prefer to drive in daylight; instead of arriving at my destination before dinner, I didn't arrive until after midnight. I'm not sure I would use Dash again. The repair service itself was excellent, but the late start (when they knew I had travel plans) was very disappointing. I do appreciate that some jobs can be more complex than originally anticipated, but the lack of courtesy in not communicating the delay is not the service I expected after reading the other reviews.

They've always done top-notch work for us. They are very personable and professional on the phone and in person.

We have hired him to replace the motherboard on our unit as well as a thermostat. He came in on time, spent time explaining the issues and new processes, and was generally a pleasure to deal with.

Dash recommended to try to rehab 25 year old unit (Dash has serviced, repaired, installed, and replaced many systems over five or six year service relationship, and is a highly trusted provider, so we knew them to be honest and not recommend too much to pad cost). I decided to replace with new one. As usual, I relied on Dash to recommend appropriate unit, the quote was reasonable, and Dash did the work in very difficult, tight, location in the time and price we agreed upon. Owner David did much of the work himself, his assistant was great. They took steps to protect every inch of our office space, and cleaned up regularly during the job. They responded quickly for a routine job, but work very hard to accommodate emergencies. Austin family owned and operated. Wonderfully pleasant, friendly, competent, and honest outfit. Since first using them for service on half a dozen older units in 5000 square foot office, office manager recommended them to me for residential need. I used them once and since then they have serviced, done critical repairs, and replaced (at least) three very difficult systems. No one can beat them for quality.

I was very satisfied with the service.

They arrived on time at 8 am and finished around 5 or 6 pm. The air conditioning works better than it ever has. I have two units and the unit they fixed never cooled as well as the other one. Now it does. I think the world of David, who owns the company and installed the coil. He is so personable, kind, communicative and compassionate about the issues, and most of all professional and an expert and perfectionist about what he does. Jeannette, his wife and office manager, is equally wonderful. The only complaint I have is that David's assistant, who was ill that day, had to use the bathroom a lot and did not use "footies" and tracked in a lot of dust and insulation. I also wish that he had used better bathroom manners. I did express this to Jeannette the next day and she was very apologetic. She said he had gotten a clean bill of health from the doctor's and would talk to him about his manners. I consider this incident a one time fluke and minor in comparison to the excellent job done that day. I would use Dash again, hands down, and would recommend them to anyone. I call David my air conditioning doctor. And he is!

We actually found Dash on Angie's List. We have been using him a couple of years now. I highly recommend them for people to use. The owner, David, is amazing! He makes sure the job is done. We have recommended the company to all of our friends!

This was the best experience I've had with a Heating/Air outfit! Jeanette is personable, pleasant and competant; she worked with me to get a tech out at the first possible time. On the day of the appointment, they called me to tell me the tech was on his way. When the technicial arrived, he was courteous and pleasant the entire time he was here. He listened to my description of the problem, asking questions to clarify so that he fully understood the situation. Then he went to work to diagnose the problem and had it diagnosed within ten minutes. He showed me the indicator of the problem, then cleared the clogged drain, and tuned the unit up. It's been two weeks since the work, and we've been very satifsfied with the efficiency of our unit.

My A/C suddenly stopped cooling the house. Everything was working, just no cold air. I called Dash because they had installed the system just a year-and-a-half ago. The next morning Brian came and fixed the problem and performed some other maintenance. I wrote a check when he was finished and was happy to have A/C back. A short time after he left, Brian came back saying that he had talked to David (the owner) and due to the nature of the problem (an insulation issue that they had recently learned to compensate for during installation), he didn't think that I should have to pay for it. So Brian handed the check back. If that is not a company that cares about their customers, I don't know what is. Brian came back one more time to install some better insulation. That's it. I could not be happier with Dash.

Dash has taken over as our "go to" service provider for HVAC. Jeannette is the best scheduler we have ever worked with. She is honest about when service will occur and they have been unfailingly punctual. Their service techs are professional and personable. They are honest and accurate in their assessments of needs and time required to perform service. While their cost may be in the higher range, it is simply a matter of getting what you pay for. We will be using them for all of our future needs after noting a fall off in service from our previous choice after a change in ownership.

They were quick to set up an appointment and worked around our schedule. The service guy was on-time, polite and worked quickly. Everything was done well and made sure everything worked before they left.

They are quick. It is nice that when I had to call them back they send the same guy who came out and still remember what we did previously it made it a lot easier to bring him up to speed.

The service person was very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with his appraisal of the needed work. I also felt completely comfortable having him in my home.

Good experience...They charged me by the hour + parts, supplies (freon)...Pricey but professional and seemingly dependable.
