Doug White answered my telephone inquiry on same day and gave me an estimate two days later. We then requested and received HOA approval and gave Doug the go ahead with work. Doug emailed us with a time estimate for work to be performed; total time from start to finish was approximately six weeks. Doug had estimated seven to eight weeks but was able to work our project in to his work schedule because he had another job in same vicinity. We are totally pleased with his work; he has also screened all of our windows. Totally recommend Dan's Screens & Things.

Used Doug to install storm doors on the front door (french style double doors) and 2 back doors. Did a great job at a fair price. Doors custom made and very high quality. Less expensive than the big box stores and in my opinion a better quality product. I highly recommend Dan White's Screens & Things for your screening needs!

Fabulous work, as usual. I've used Dan White's Screens & Things for two projects now and intend to do continue using their services in the future . They do great quality work at a good price, they're very accommodating, have always been on time, and when a mistake was made - only happened once in my case - they quickly owned up to it and worked quickly and diligently to remedy it. love it!

We always bring our window and door screens to be repaired here. It is one of the truly rare places I've found someone who does good work, quickly, reliably, and inexpensively. A real gem we return to time and time again.

They did excellent work and did it promptly. Both properties were rentals in the process of being repaired after the previous tenants, so being prompt was essential. On both occasions, the screens were quite large and inconvenient for me to carry in my car. I called several companies and Screens & Things was the only one that would come to the property and take the screen. This was an immense plus! In that the process involved 2 trips to each property, I found the pricing fair.

Once the job was scheduled, the door was picked up and brought back the same day.

I brought my screen in and was called the next day to pick it up as it was ready.

We weren't home during the screen installation so we left a check based on the estimate, a week later we received a check the mail stating that we overpaid. The screens look amazing on the house and unexpected refund for overpayment just shows how honest and professional this company is. Will definitely use them again if needed.

Doug White is fantastic and quickly analyzed the problem with the screens closure. Removed the screen and repaired it--- perfection.

They are awesome, great, really busy time of the year now though. Came out, scheduled with our tenant, took care of the job, and just sent me a bill. Really easy to work with.

A hail storm damaged all of the screens on the north side of my house. The provider came to the house and gave me an estimate after reviewing the damage. I called him back to schedule the repairs after seeking other bids. The work was completed quickly and with care. He arrived with the new screens just as a sudden but heavy rainstorm began, and he worked through the rain to complete the installation.

Service was great. They were very easy to deal with. They contacted me both on phone and email to verify what I needed. They did 3 replacements for me. They also worked with me on the deadline and that was easy.

Had Dan White Screens screen in our covered back porch. Doug -- the original owner's son, I believe -- came out quickly to give us a quote. They finished the project sooner than expectes and for less than their cost estimate. We couldn't be happier with their work. Fast forward a few months and our large dogs broke through a panel of the metal kick plate. I called Dan White Screens on a Thursday with my sob story. Someone came and measured it later that same day and my husband and I just noticed that while we were out the following Friday, someone came and replaced it for us. That's impressive customer service.

The work was excellent. We have a lot of windows including some very large ones. All the screens look great. They even submitted all the rebate paperwork for us.

In my opinion Doug and Dan White's Screens & Things are the best at what they do. Doug was on time for the appointment and took his measurements quickly. After a short discussion about what was need and what I wanted we were done. Within the time frame Doug had provided the screens were ready for installation. Appointment was scheduled and everything went very well. Could not be more pleased. Every vendor of any product and/or service could take lessons on how to it right.

They did a terrific job! I didn't know which screen products to use for these purposes, and I appreciated the discussion and advice for invisible screening in the bathrooms and 60% solar screens for the patio doors. The quality of the job was excellent, and the service was prompt, including pick-up and delivery. I found Dan White's Screens through Angie's List, and I will definitely use them for any future screening needs. The cost was a little higher than I expected initially, but worth it for the response I received and probably competitive.

I initially had a hard time getting ahold of them, but once I did they were great. Came out quickly, gave us a quick quote, and returned to repair that same week. Repair was good and they really know their stuff.

It was a very easy process. Very responsive to emails. He came out to measure then provided estimate. The price was very reasonable. The screens were installed when he said they would be and he took away the old screens (as I requested). Couldn't be happier with the way they look.

Excellent customer service. Very quick response and estimate given. I was given an estimate for a few windows as well as all of my windows. Turnaround was a little less than 2 weeks and it is the middle of summer. We only did some of our windows but will probably finish off the remainder in the fall.

Doug was very responsive and professional. He took measurements and installed the screens quickly. The work was very nice and the result is a much cooler home.

Thumbs down on responsiveness after that. We emailed and then called asking for an estimate. He finally emailed back one week later to say he was "having trouble with his suppliers" and to contact one of his competitors. Wasted a week for us - we need to get this ball rolling! : (.

They came to the house to give me a quote for the screens, which was sent to me by email a couple of days later. I agreed to the quote, and they quickly scheduled an install date and time. There was a problem with one of the windows which forced them to return a couple of days later to complete the install. Everything elsewent very well, and Doug was very professional to deal with (I think Doug is Dan's son?). I really like the look of the screens, and am impressed with how well you can see out of the 90% screens. Recommended.

I used Dan White's Screens and Things for my home office window. It was the one room in the house that would get incredibly hot while the rest of the house stayed comfortable. He put a 90% solar screen on the window and I LOVE it. I've had it up for 3 days now and the difference is amazing. I can leave the blinds open, I no longer have glare on my monitors, the room is cooler, I can see out perfectly fine, etc. Then if I want to remove them for whatever reason I can do so easily. I'm very glad I went this route vs. solar film on the windows. Not to mention they are a local company, quick to get the job done, and reasonable pricing.
