The workers bent and dinged a gutter downspout and left it unsecured to the side of the house. Because everyone on the jobsite "claimed" to understand English, and the Supervisor was so hard to work with, we accepted the damage and secured the downspout ourselves. A couple of years later, a 6 inch chip came off that same corner. We thought that it was due to the downspout clanging and chipping the concrete. Since we hadn't forced repair at the time of damage, we left it. Then, when we were preparing to sell the house, we called several colored concrete contractors to repair the damage - which no one would even bid. Finally a contractor SHOWED us where the iron rods to anchor it to the house were set too close to the edge, and stresses caused this to chip off. I had had Stuart Nolley, the owner look at it to bid, and he was happy to charge us more money to correct HIS error. We found Stuart friendly and professional, but NOT interested in Customer Satisfaction.
