See above. The cabinet installation went well as we had our own contractor who oversaw the remodeling which included materials from this supplier.
Description of Work: My contractor used Coleman Wholesale for our new kitchen remodeling. We are pleased with the cabinets provided. The owner Allen Coleman worked well with my wife on several redesigns until she got a kitchen of her dreams. He helped my contractor to find an outstanding multi-talented carpenter, craftsman and experienced builder, Ron. Allen Coleman has delivered on his promises in a timely manner. He has gone to great efforts to deliver on his promises, despite recent business difficulties (grew to fast to monitor everything to his standards). He has changed his operation to be managed such that projects meet the expectations of his customers. Having survived several remodeling I advise anyone using Coleman Wholesale to always remember he is a supplier not a contractor. He is so experienced in remodeling and gets so personally connected with his client's projects that he will try to help with tradesman referrals; but, he is not your contractor. He is not responsible beyond providing the materials. Be aware he is so knowledgable he is quick to tell you how to creat your dreams, but it is still up to you or you contractor to put the pieces together. Allen Coleman has proven a man of his word, even when it has been hard. We intend to do another project with his help and to recommend Coleman Wholesale to our neighbors, just as our neighbor recommended it to us.

I had a terrible experience. It started off great. The staff was friendly and the prices were great. I had even found some good reviews and felt like this was going to be a good deal. In addition, he was in a Referral Networking Organization that I run in Austin. Now that it's too late I have found some negative reviews and he has left the networking orginazation. I have even found some vendor's that he failed to pay.So here is our story. I hope it will save you from the nightmare I have experienced. We ordered and paid in May. We paid before we even closed on the new house just so we could get it done before we moved in. The only time they showed up as promised was when we demo'd the Kitchen back in early June. All my calls and emails went pretty much unreturned. I had to drive to the showroom just to be able to speak to someone. Usually it was his Staff saying they could not get a hold of him. The owner does not take even take calls on his cell phone anymore. The vendors I hired to do the floors, painting, bathroom remodel and audio all did great and everything but the Kitchen was done by June 23rd. We had agreed to a price, signed contracts and were even going to add a BBQ and Closet with some trade thrown in. It's now August. The only thing I have been able to get is the shells for the cabinets. Everything was on the supposedly ordered was supposed to be installed by the end of June. I paid 60% of the money at the time of the order (In May), that is more than the 50% the contract calls for. When they missed the deadline in June it was because they were still building the cabinets. No money was requested. After a week in the house with no Kitchen and a 9 year old I asked if we could at least get the Appliances. He said they could order them. I thought it crazy they they were not even ordered and we were past the projected completion date????? Now, all of the sudden some of the higher end appliances we had on the invoice were not available. After more calls and emails they agreed to show up. They made an appointment for 8AM. As usual, no one showed up or called. After I called them numerous times I was told they were stuck on another job but would be out later. They showed up at 7PM but only to drop off the cabinet shells. They were still working on the drawers and doors. I thought this was funny. In June the only delay was they had to rent a truck because it was raining and they only had a flatbed trailer. It was excuse after excuse with this guy. When the cabinets were dropped off I was told they would be back with a crew in morning. They missed appointment as well. I called to ask if they could at least bring the refrigerator as it was getting hard and unhealthy to eat out every meal. The owner called wanted more money to "Fund" my appliance order. I guess he is having a cash flow issue. After multiple calls and emails I finally got him on the phone. We set an appointment to meet at his store at 10AM. He stood me up. I was stunned. Even his sales guys thought it was odd since it was written on the wall calendar in his showroom. His sales guy called and told me that Allen had returned to the showroom at 2PM. I drove back. We talked for awhile. I had him give me some dates for the completion of each stage of the project. I wrote them down and had him sign next to them. They were once again missed. On the new agreed to "finish date" for the entire project they showed up at 3PM to install only the granite. At this point anything was progress, or so I thought. They had prepped and brought the wrong granite. They admitted the mistake and took it back to the shop. When I asked for a new estimated date for completion the owner said I was being "Pushy" and asked for all the money in advance. We gave him a last opportunity to correct the mistake and deliver what we ordered or return our money and take his product back. He has not responded. Paperwork was filed with the BBB and Attorney General today. Hope this helps someone.
Description of Work: We decided to buy instead of building. We purchased a new house in June and wanted to make some upgrades to it. We decided to put in new floors, paint, appliances, granite, cabinets and a bathroom. We found Coleman Wholesale and decided to use them to put in new cabinets, appliances, granite, outdoor bbq and a closet for my wife. We picked out the products and put the deposit down in May before we even closed so we could have the Kitchen done in time. We even opted for different cabinets than the ones my wife wanted because he said it would take too long to order. His design on the closet took over a month to get and the quote took another 3 weeks. It was way higher than we had discussed and we have opted not to use him. See below for the rest of the story.

Member you never payed my company for any labor as a contractor! You did not own the keys to the home to let us in the house to take Measurements for your cabinet order. When you caused a second thought from me was when you stated you would only honor our agreement for the yacht club $14,000 discount if I hit your rediculous Deadline! I removed your discount, and you have payed for and gone on a slander campaign. We are keeping count. Your customers are not happy with you!

I hired them to do a kitchen remodel. He did not deliver the cabinets when he said he was going to. When I contacted him to complain, he delivered the cabinets a couple of days later at 7pm at night. He was very nice when he was selling everything, but when I had questions about when things were coming in or had issues with the cabinets, he developed an attitude. The cabinets I ordered were supposed to be solid wood, factory finished, but what I received was definitely substandard and not what I had ordered (which was confirmed by independent appraisers). My credit card company had to issue me a refund for this, because he wouldn't. I also ordered an appliance packed that I unfortunately paid for by check. I have not received the appliances ordered or any money back from Mr. Coleman. I sent an email notifying him that I wouldn't be doing business with him and for him to pick up his cabinets, and he responded with an unprofessional and threatening email. I have been dealing with this, and have been without a kitchen for this entire time. He informed me of a no refund policy that was not listed on my receipt or his pamphlet, but he only informed me of this after I cancelled my order.
Description of Work: I hired him for a kitchen remodel including materials and installation.
