Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal to have my roof checked and minor repairs made. They came and checked my roof and said that I wouldn't need a new roof for a couple more years. They replaced a few shingles. I was very pleased with their work, and plan to call them when I need to replace my roof.

Description of Work: Had them out to replace some shingles, replace 4 air vents, and reseal chimneys and vents. They got it done quickly, cleaned up all the trash, and did a great job for less than other bids. Will use them again for future roofing needs.

Description of Work: I appreciated the thoroughness of the roof inspection. The pictures were very revealing. I had no idea there were so many areas vulnerable to leaking. All areas were hammered down and caulked properly. When I need to replace the entire roof, I won't hesitate to call Clear Choice.

Im not sure why customers choose to bash the $99.00 coupon.All roofs are not the same and one story walkable.The coupon clearly states that additional charges for safety and insurance will apply if your roof doesn't look like the picture provided when purchased. Your home required mountain climbing equipment to access. By law I have to implement OSHA fall protection guidelines and insurance,I can only assume that you feel the additional $75.00 charge was not worth my technicians life. Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal from Angie's List. Prior to purchase I made double checked the service area. The listing says "Austin and surrounding areas." My area "San Marcos" is normally considered a surrounding area of Austin. So I purchased it and gave the provider dates etc. and was told to contact them directly. We did and we were told that they do not service the "San Marcos" area and to get a refund from Angie's List. Texas is huge, so I get it but Providers could specify at the very least what they define as "surrounding areas."

Angies list was founded by a woman that got "ripped off by a contractor" and she wanted a way to distinguish the good from the bad.Most people recognize this wonderful website based on that core value ,yet some abuse the system.The customer was notified that the coupon only was only for Austin and should have not have been emailed out to San macros by angies list.She was told we would dispatch a representative to give her a free repair estimate and she could get a refund from Angies List.It seems the customer had already predetermined what it would take to fix her roof and what she was willing to pay to protect her largest investment. I apologize we could not make this particular person happy and we might be removing ourselves from the angies list coupon program due to some customers like this who attack the vendor as if they were victimized. Below is the transcript. (CCR) Thank you for your recent purchase of the Angie's List coupon advertised....Are y'all located now in Austin? The coupon is good for Austin. ( customer name removed) Our address is xxxx xxxx xx San Marcos, Texas xxxxx (CCR) We will give you a call and schedule your free estimate.( phone call also notified customer that the coupon did not service San Marcos) (Customer emailed back)Just to be clear, you are not honoring the $99.00 Big Deal coupon correct?(CCR) Mike will come out and give you a free estimate for your roof.( customer name removed) Don't bother! We have red flagged her address and name in our computer system,and will not provide her service in the future.We wish the customer the best of luck in her endeavors and god bless.
